Mid sized pizza spot with plenty of seating, went in for a quick slice but they only had plain slices left. Appears their pies are made when ordered. The have in house sodas which was crisp and cold! Pizza was ok, I like the crispy edges of the crust but it lacked flavor. Service was ok. There are beautiful pictures of Sicily and Italy on the walls making for a gorgeous backdrop. read more

Nicky G's Pizza is one of my regular spots for solid, tasty pizza. The pies are always good--crispy crust, generous toppings, and a nice balance of sauce and cheese. But honestly, this review isn't just about the pizza. Last night, I went in to pick up my order. The guy who's always there (I'm guessing he's the owner) rang me up. I handed him what I thought were two $20 bills and asked for $15 back, leaving what I figured was a fair tip. Instead of just handing me my change, he slapped the bills on the counter and said, "This is what you handed me." To my surprise, I'd mistakenly given him a $20 and a $50. I had no idea. He could've easily just given me $15 back as I'd asked and kept the extra cash--a hefty tip I would've been none the wiser about. But he didn't. He was honest and made sure I got the right change. That's a huge amount of decency and integrity. If that's not the kind of local business worth supporting, I don't know what is. Huge respect for that guy--and yes, the pizza's great, too. read more

Love their grandma'a pie! Best around! Taste so fresh and different from anywhere else I've had. We've been getting it from here for years! But you can only order a pie not slice for grandma pizza. We also got the calamari. The breading is flavorful and soft not chewy. It's a small pizzeria with not too many seats. Go to order to go. First time ordering. Portions were great. Sauce also very good. I ordered eggplant parm entree with a side of spaghetti and a meatball sandwich. I wish they used the plastic containers rather than the metal with the plastic lid that you crimp closed. The eggplant is good but needs a bit more sauce because it's a little dry. A little more cheese on top would be nice too, but I'd order it again. (Eggplant is my go-to entree and I order from all restaurants that serve it). The meatball sandwich was also quite good but could have benefited from some more sauce too. The pasta could be a little more al dente. Mine was a bit overbooked. Just these small adjustments and then I'd say this would be one of the better pizzerias in the area. read more

Called to order a pizza at noon time, owner said it would be 30mins, decided to go to the store after 15mins and was met with a worker that had no idea why I was there. The only worker there didn't know how to make pizza and said he was waiting for the owner to come and make it. First, we are in the food industry & normally would hate to leave a review but we finally ordered from Nicky G's last Friday night 11/4 & we so wanted to be a fan. My hubby is definitely a pizza connoisseur and we heard from someone the Grandma Pie was supposed to be decent, we definitely should have stuck with our go too. We normally have our staples: Anyhony Franco's & Neil's for Grandma & Donnas for Sicilian. It s hard to explain: cheap cheese, a drizzle of what might have been Pesto ( why) and brunt crust ( THE WHOLE BOTTOM OF THE PIE). Normally we have a slice or 2 each and always freeze the rest, this went right in the garbage. And the cold Antipasto, overall everything was just way off I hope they were just having a bad night, just wish it wasn't on our $$. FYI: my husband is insisting when we first moved here in 2018 he grabbed a slice and it was awesome..... read more

Amazing pizza place along Colfax Ave in Wayne New Jersey. Came here to get pizzas for the boys playing in the nearby (not so near) Battle Creek paintball place! The whole cheese pizza is $12.50 then if you put one topping its gonna be additional $2 (i guess) I ordered a whole cheese pizza and a whole pepperoni pizza! But try their pizza! It is really delicious, the thickness of the crust is perfect! The breadcrumbs they used are of superb quality, it has crispness of the crust and chewiness inside, the sauce and toppings are in good proportion to the crust! I am really picky with my pizza, but I've recently started living in Pompton Lakes and do not know where to find good pizza. So I decided to try Pat's since they are down the road from me. I just got a large extra cheese for delivery. It was delivered within 30mins and was still piping hot. Once I let it cool(dont want all the cheese to come off the slice) I finally tried it and OMG I think O found my new favorite pizza. The pie was cooked perfectly, cheese tasted amazing, dough not to chewy or hard, and even amount of sauce to cheese ratio. The sauce wasn't too sweet or tangy so overall a perfect pie and all it costed was $16.53. So anyone around the area should at least give this place a shot because you will not regret it! read more

Nicky G's pizza is similar to Pats but more semolina crust. Great pie with no flop, heavy on the semolina crust all around. Cheese has good texture, sauce not overly sweet, and semolina crust gives it that extra crunch. Grease is non existential this pie! Only negative I'll give is I prefer a crispier crust and less dough! read more

This was my first time ordering from here and based on other reviews I decided to give it a try since it's right around the corner from my house. I ordered the fusilli alla vodka, which came with pasta which is no where near the shape of fusilli pasta that I've ever seen and the vodka sauce is flavorless, almost as if it came out of a jar. Being we've never been in the area, I came here because of yelp reviews. We ordered 2 sandwiches; 1. Egg with cheese and potatoes. So delicious! So tasty! The combination with the fresh roll ...yum! 2. Tuna with lettuce and tomato. Again, delicious and tasty. We will definitely return next time we are in the area. WHAT? You haven't eaten at Pat's. This little neighborhood pizzaria has THE best vegetable pizza you will ever taste. I discovered this place the day I mentioned to another local resident that I was going to go buy a pie at the local big pizza place in the shopping center. He told me to go to Pat's and get the "Veggie Special" and if I didn't like it HE would reimburse me for the money I spent. I have been going to Pat's ever since that day. Try the Grandma's Pie which is my other favorite. The crust on all the pizzas is always just right, never burned, never soaking wet. Went the other night for first time. The mussels were very tender sauce had nice spice but not crazy hot. Had sausage parmigiana. The dish was very good. The cook was involved in the customers request. Remember this is a small pizzeria not a formal sit down place but has some tables. It is popular with the HS kids who go out for lunch. read more

The food is great and definitely has a small town pizzaria vibe with it. Th prices may be a dollar or more than a normal pizza place but would you want a Toyota or a Ferrari? The pizza is bomb, the chicken marcella was delicious as that was what my brother ordered and for desert we got the Nutella zeppole and that are mouth watering. I grabbed a menu and I am going to go down the menu and check off thing so I can get the full experience of this place. Little set back is the seating with five tables but the food is well worth it!
