Coming from an Italian family I'm pretty picky when it comes to this kind of food and I throughly enjoy everything we have ever ordered from here. We actually try to add something new to our order every time because we want to try it all! Some of our favorites include: the Brooklyn pie, Palermo pie, sausage pie, nonina pie, garlic knots, wings, rice balls, caprese salad, rigatoni bolognese, Italian sub... and on and on and on! Specifically asked if they bread and pan fry their own chicken cutlets. (Tired of getting pre- breaded /deep fried cutlets around here.) For $20 and a lie I'm pretty disappointed. Vodka penne was bland.and overcooked also. With all the competition in town why not take the time to make a cutlet? Seriously do t get it. Every single time I stop here for a slice of regular pizza they never have any! Always told I need to wait 10 minutes for a new pie. I don't understand how this happens?? This is my favorite pizza place! Their specialty pies really set them apart from other pizzerias. Little Italy and Toscana pizzas are my favorite. Nice atmosphere for eating in. We've also been to private parties which are nice as well. Fast and friendly service. read more

I never ever leave reviews on restaurants but after going here last night I felt like I had too. The food at this place is absolutely out of this world. It's some of the best Italian food I've had in a really long time. The owner was also super nice and generous. We went at a weird time on a Thursday Night and there was no one sitting in the restaurant and the owner immediately greeted us and gave us some fresh warm focaccia bread. I'm not a big salad guy but the creamy balsamic dressing they have here completely changed my mind about salads. So ridiculously good. For dinner I got the eggplant rollitini with a spicy vodka sauce that I saw on the menu used in a different dish. When I tell you this was some of the best eggplant rollitini I've ever had in my life I'm not exaggerating. I'm an eggplant snob. It has to be thin and cooked well for me too like it and this place knocked it outta the park. Not to mention the spicy vodka sauce was a thing of beauty. After dinner the owner gave us a couple extra mini cannoli's with dessert. One of the best meals I've had in a very long time. I cannot recommend this place enough! read more

There is no rating for 0 stars but that's what this restaurant would receive. My husband ate a chicken bacon ranch roll last night from this restaurant and woke up violently ill today. Headache, body aches, chills, vomiting. I called and spoke to the manager who was quick to "reassure" me that all of their meat is fresh and that he couldn't have gotten sick from his meal. He showed no empathy whatsoever. I was not looking for any handouts, just simply showing my concern for his other guests which he quickly dismissed. I am never ordering here again. I went to Dominick's in Franklin yesterday (2/21/19) The restaurant is new and remodeled! It looks great! The original owners, of the Dominick's in Newton, who are always very friendly, have taken over with the same great food as the Dominick's in Newton. I had the express, cavatelli and broccoli with grilled chicken, sausage and peppers with a side caesar salad. It was really good!! The express is always a great option for a delicious meal at a very reasonable price. The express always has great options and the food is different every day. There is a large dining room that is large enough for people to sit comfortably. It is a byob, which is also great! Oh, and did I mention the pizza???? Amazing!! read more

I love dominicks!!! I think they are SO underrated. Their food is consistently amazing. Nothing gets me more irritated then going to a place with inconsistency and Dominicks hits it spot on everytime. I had their sandwiches catered and all my guests raved about them. Something so simple as a sandwich this place does amazing. Their pies, salad, wraps, sandwiches and appetizers are all so good. I've never had an entree but don't doubt that's on par with everything else. Also I think they make their own sandwich bread and garlic knots/ etc and I think those are the best I've ever had. read more

so disappointed. i called to have a pizza delivered to mom since she cannot get out. She said to try dominicks. i was hesitant because i had gotten food from their before and it was sub-par. i called at 3:40 p.m. and my Mom did not get her pizza till 4:45p.m. over an hour she waited. i felt so bad because she was looking forward to pizza - but when she got it , she said it was so burned - even the top cheese was burned and tasted burnt.. she said the crust was so burned that when she picked it up, it crumbled.. she tried to eat it, but the burnt taste was awful. i told her i would have them come get and give new one, she said forget it, she threw it in garbage and the box was so big, she put it down the garb shoot. she wound up having cereal for diner. i felt bad. i called dominicks back asking for manager and told girl what happened i could hear the guy in the background, who did not even have the professional courtesy to come to phone and apologize, she came back and said we can make her a new one, but would have to take the old one back. i was like well NO because she already waited over an hour to get the pizza and she threw it out and i was not going to have my 94 year old mom picking pizza out of the garbage - the said they would refund half.. i am like half? that is crazy, the guy would not come on the phone at all, they take NO pride in their business or their food.. never again ... horrible management and food i told them i would put a bad rating and she said that was fine, they would just go in and deny it. I took the half refund, after a heated debate from the girl on the phone. but so disapointed that they could put food out there like that and not take ownership for awful food.. shame on you Dominick and poor management and customer service read more

The owner is a wonderful person, always friendly and welcoming when you walk through the door. Food is good tasting, presentation usually nice. When ordering subs you need to make sure you state the lettuce, tomato, onion, oil & vinegar. Menu states those items come with the sub but if you don't ask, you won't get. The Dominick's in Newton is good, but don't overlook the one in Franklin. I pick up here all the time and the kids working there are super nice. The pies are always balanced cheese/sauce wise, and the eggplant app is to die for. My favorite pizza place in the area. read more

All I can say is horrible !!! I will never again order from them. We heard about them from friends so we figured we would order from there one night and used the slice delivery service. The entire experience was awful. The food took 2 1/2 hrs to be delivered ( I am not padding that at all ). I asked the delivery driver why it was so late and he said " well I had a delivery 15 minutes away and then 15 minutes to you " ok that's 30 minutes !! Where's the other 2 hrs. Ok deduct 45 minutes for prep. That still leaves 1:15 !! So we let that go because we were starving so we opened our food which was ice cold. We understood it wasn't their fault so we heated it up and giving it an honest chance. The food wasn't very good at all. The chicken I had was real tough and I had to pick it out of my teeth like steak. What chicken has to be picked out if your teeth ? Very stringy. My kids burger looked like it was two different burgers. One half was well done and the other half was not rare but it was raw. I can go on but this review is already too long. The other food wasn't any better. Just avoid slice and avoid Dominick's !! read more

The food is great but they have screwed up the order way too many times. One time we finally got home and ready to eat we had to go back because they forgot our wings. Communication seems to be the problem. They have messed up our order 3 times and we are very regular for ordering out at a pizza place once every week.
