I ordered a delivery, My order was 1- medium pepperoni pie 1- grilled salmon salad no onions. 1 spaghetti with meatballs 1 side sausage 1 pasta fagoule soup with my dinner. I received 1 medium cheese pizza 1 grilled salmon with onions 1 side salad, no onions but NO soup The spaghetti with meatballs and side of sausage came as ordered. When I called to complain the girl said it was my fault for not being clear, and I heard her laugh as she told someone in the background about my complaint. It's a shame... I ordered the six-piece chicken tender platter for delivery, but when I received the food, it was burned and chewy. When I called the store to complain, they didn't apologize or offer me anything free in return. The rude woman on the phone told me that this is how it normally comes, which is not true because I order from them frequently. She told me that I could leave my food by the doorstep for the driver to pick up, but he never arrived. I waited for 32 minutes, and when he still hadn't shown up, I called the store again to let them know. The lady told me to throw the food in the garbage, even after I waited patiently. Ordered tonight off of door dash, got a 1/2 plain 1/2 chicken bacon ranch, a Buffalo chicken wrap and penne vodka. The Buffalo chicken was mostly breading with rubbery chicken in between, but still just "okay". The pizza was so disgusting I don't know how anyone could even promote themselves as a pizzeria with awful pizza like this. So much cheese sloppily thrown on that it's a rubbery goopy mess. Being a pizzeria in NJ that makes pizzas like this is a travesty and they should be ashamed that their quality is worse than chains like dominos and Pizza Hut. Since new owners took over the food is awful. Italian subs with mayo, oil & vinegar. Eggplant parm subs are bitter tasting. Pizza flavor was flat. Prices have gone up compared to previous owners and will be going up again. TJ's will be getting all my business in the future. read more

This place was recently taken over by new owners and the quality of the pizza has gone way down. It has entirely too much cheese (yes it's a bad thing if you don't order extra cheese!). I'll be honest, the first two times I ordered from Mama Cee's, it was decent. The third and fourth times have both been a disaster however. The fried calamari literally came with half a tin full, and came pre-covered in lemon juice. My first thought was that someone already dug into this appetizer. The calamari itself was cooked wonderfully. My large Caesar salad was a mess. It was soggy, less than half full and very unappealing to the eye. As a matter of fact, it went into the garbage. Pictures of both dishes have been uploaded. I don't normally post Yelp reviews, but when I opened the bags to the food, I literally felt like I'd been robbed. This has been one of the best pizza restaurants in Sussex county for years my wife and I would stop here weekly for lunch or take home dinner. went last week got our standard Large order fried calamari, large mussels marinara and a large Cesar salad with grilled shrimp. The Cesar was still the same as was the quality and taste of the food but the serving size was half what it used to be as we paid for the large orders we expected what we always had gotten in the past hardly enough to feed 2 people yet the price was $12 dollars more than what it had been! times are tough all over but they could have let us know what to expect. could have been a fluke will try again but if its as skimpy will not go back! read more

Unfortunately, MaMa Cee's has changed chefs and along with it the quality of the food and the customer service. Since the new chef, we have dined there several times hoping for a better experience but the food preparation has only become worse each visit. The new chef has no interest in customer service or quality. In fact, the chef agreed to prepare a fresh dish to replace one that was below standards of quality and freshness and instead of preparing the new dish as promised, he simply stirred and reheated the same poorly prepared dish as if we would not notice the continued foul appearance and smell. Everyone at our table could hear how smugly the chef responded to the wait staff's concern for their respective customers displeasure. This cook, because he is not a chef, is only concerned with hearing himself speak and his next strut around the soon to be failing restaurant. Mama Cee's has lost our consistent repeat business. I've been ordering from Mama Cee's on a regular basis since they opened in Franklin years ago and I have been satisfied with their food and service. I've read the negative yelp reviews and I don't agree with many of them. (the food's fine, delivery can be slow). Here's my problem. We decided to order pizza last night May 15th. Besides being cold and 1/2 hour late the delivery man was NOT wearing a mask. When I pointed this out to him, he pulled his shirt over his mouth and nose. He had to go back to his car to get me change and while he was doing that, I called the restaurant to complain. I spoke to the manager who was unfazed and didn't care about the mask issue or the fact that the pizza was stone cold (they did offer to send another pizza which I declined because it was already past 8:30PM). After the guy came back with the change he also gave my husband attitude. I am VERY disappointed and find it VERY difficult to trust they are keeping the public safety in mind. This is May, masks are no longer difficult to find and purchase and are required in stores and restaurants. There is NO excuse for this. I have had deliveries from The Irish Cottage and Grand Eastern, all wore masks and even gloves. This is inexcusable including the way I was treated when I called back. Be WARNED, stay safe. If you don't mind waiting to close to an hour for a pizza then I suggest you order in advance. If you plan on getting it delivered and enjoy cold pizza then this is the place to go. Don't bother to order their meals because their meals are always under cooked, over priced and skimpy to say the least. My wife order spaghetti with meatballs and all she got was 2 meatballs with a hand full of spaghetti. The spaghetti was spread out to make it look like a full plate and barely no sauce which you can tell was strictly from a can. We also order spaghetti with shrimp parmesan and again just 2 lousy shrimps with more dry spaghetti spread out. We also ordered a pie which was tasty if you enjoy eating a pie that is more crust than anything else and so cold you could have used it as a frisbee. Everything arrive literally cold to the touch was bland and just plain nasty. The cheese had already started to hardened on the pizza and the already dry sauce on the meals was close to being spackle. So on top of paying $30 plus $5 to tip the driver the only thing edible was the bread that came with the meal. Everything we tasted literally went to the garbage. This is not the first time they have disappointed but being gluttons for punishment we have tried to give them more than a chance. We only give them credit for being consistent in serving lousy cold dry food. Don't be fooled by the good reviews because we have lived here for years and word of mouth also agree on the horrible food and lousy service they have provided. Eating at the restaurant is like going to a school cafeteria where no one greats you and the girls that are taking your order are handling cash and touching your pizza without gloves nor washing their hands. Save yourself the grief and money. There are other places in town that will give you much better food, bigger portions and freshly made instead of canned goods and cold food. Also count how many 1 star reviews they have versus anything greater so a majority consensus is probably telling you to STAY AWAY!!! The owners don't care and they don't even read the reviews or else they would have responded in their defense which frankly there isn't any. They have lost us as a customer and I would not recommend this place to the homeless. I would post photos however it all ended up in the garbage. Ordered take out. Had chicken franchise ,shrimp scampi and penne vodka. Absolutely delicious.everyone said it was the best they had from a pizza place. None of the pasta was overdone and the sauces were perfectly seasoned. After reading the reviews we were excited to try this place out. Not sure how many of those reviews were written by friends and family and how many were legit reviews. I dont think this place should be listed as pizzeria and restaurant. Four booths in front of the kitchen window doesnt constitute a restraunt environment. A pizzeria yes but not a restraunt. We can't comment on the pizza because we were in the mood for some parm and sandwiches. I had chicken parmigiano and my husband had the Cajun chicken sandwich. Both our meals were really dry and overcooked. Almost forgot the ranch fries wich had two slices of American cheese poorly melted on top. Despite our disappointment with our meals our waitress was great! She was very attentive and super sweet! We won't be dinning in again but hope to try Pizza and be able to give a more favorable review. read more

To say that the crust was thin would be an exaggeration - I've seen thicker sheets of paper. Over cooked(semi-burnt), tasteless, excessively greasy(could have lubed my car with the excess grease).
