This is the franks special salad used to be my favorite, not any more. Looks great but the chicken is so hard you can't taste the meat

The chicken franchise we had to send it back if you didn't have high blood pressure before you would now. It was so salty I spit it out in the first bite

One of the better Franks around in this area. Not sure if they're a franchise outfit, everything including the marquee signs look the same. The other locations I know of are Rockaway near the Walmart, the one here in Sparta and one in West Milford along with the one in Jefferson Township. Place was spotless, there were three guys running the place, two up front by the pizza ovens and one in the back kitchen. My buddy and I ordered two sausage peppers and onion hoagies, grabbed a couple of sodas from the machine and sat down at one of their tables and in no time the guy running the ovens came over with our sandwiches. I hadn't had a SPO sandwich in a while and this one hit the spot.

Some of the best pizza around. It's always the same and spot on. This Frank's makes great pizza.

I've been to Franks many times before and let me say she's never been a grade A restaurant, needless to say she hasn't impressed me in the past 10 years I've been going here. The wings were less than amazing and I was pretty upset about that a perfect wing consists of a good amount of meat and I didn't see that with these wings. To be honest it was mostly bone which was honestly a choking hazard. The pizza was crisp (almost burnt) and there wasn't anything special about it. I didn't feel as star struck as I was hoping to be. The atmosphere is low key fire tho and I'm really digging it, but I might be biased cause Ive gone here a lot. On a more unbiased note the back of the restaurant looks nicer than the front which is kinda let down. The service it's okay but nothing that blew my sock off. Update: My wings are burnt and so are my hopes of a good experience

Franks Pizza is by far the best Italian place in Sparta to have a great dinner. If you do come here ask for Trina, Bailey, or Scott.

We walked in as tourists, not knowing what to expect, and within minutes we felt like we'd been coming here for years. That kind of genuine, welcoming energy is rare. The staff didn't just serve us they took care of us. Friendly, attentive, and effortlessly warm in a way that made the whole experience feel personal. The space itself? Think cozy, charming, and just the right amount of rustic. It's the kind of place where everything from the decor to the lighting makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy your meal. And speaking of the food... WOW. The short rib home fries were absolutely next level. Rich, flavorful, perfectly cooked every bite hit. Comfort food, but elevated. The kind of dish you think about later in the day... and then again the next day. The coffee was just as impressive smooth, fresh, and exactly what you need to complete a perfect brunch moment. What stood out the most though? The feeling. Being away from home but treated like a local... that's something special. If you want amazing food, cozy vibes, and service that genuinely makes your day better this is your spot. We didn't just find a place to eat... we found a place we'd come back to again and again.

It's a clean, open space with a decent amount of seating. The temperature is usually on the colder side, and I wouldn't say it is overly cozy. I've ordered here with some frequency over the last few years, usually when I am out running errands. I'd say the food quality is mediocre, and the prices have ballooned to levels I would say are prohibitive to the average consumer based on the amount of food you're getting. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap with mozzarella, balsamic, roasted red peppers, etc. the other day and was surprised that it was $17. For a smallish wrap, it's really too costly. The cafe throws in a bag of chips, but I've never asked for one. You can get a very similar (larger) sandwich at A&G Pizza in Branchville for $4 less. I'm not sure why the consumer would want to pay 30% more for less quality, outside of the fact that there are no other cafes or delis in the immediate area. The Hampton Diner, which is notorious for being expensive (but good quality) has a similar wrap called the California which is also somewhat expensive at $15, so I'd guess that's what Serendipity is basing its prices on. I realize all food prices are inflated right now, but Serendipity should be charging $12 max for its wraps, and based on the size, they're not far off what you're getting from Quick Check at half the price. At the cafeteria near my job, it's $8 for a wrap. I'll still check in from time to time at this cafe, but the prices are pushing me away.

Once you enter through the store, there is a sign to wait to be seated. The place has a nice and bright rustic vibe to it. I really liked the decor and table setup. Even the napkins had a rustic vibe. Started off with the potato scoop ($16) which was my fave item. The potato was shaped like the Fritos scoop chip, and the cheese dip that came with it had chunks of cheese in a melted cheese sauce. For my main, got the pulled pork sandwich ($16), which came in a pretzel knot bun and creamy slaw. It was solid meal and very filling. Other mains ordered were the roast beef "pho" style sandwich ($16) which I had a bite of and it was good and not what I expected thinking roast beef. Roast turkey ($16) was warm and also tasty. Each of the mains came with a side of potato salad. I will be back to try the sloppy Joe and their dinner meals. I highly recommend this place if you want tasty, high quality meal for a fair price. * Highly recommend making reservations on weekends * Street parking * Good service
