Since moving to the area, this is our go-to spot for a really good pie. Usually get a large 1/2 pep & 1/2 cheese, also the Italian sausage pie is great too. Their wings are good for an appetizer, but they've increased the price recently. They make a very good cheeseburger deluxe well. I live in the area and felt bad for this place because they were on the news not having any business because of the route 80 fiasco, I ordered a pepper and egg sandwich. The peppers and eggs were totally burnt, and there was egg shells in the sandwich itself, which is a total turn off. I tried the pizza which was horrible. I really wanted to give this place a shot but I work very hard for my money as I'm sure they do . It just didn't cut it for me. read more

We are really good customers. I am almost embarrassed about how much we spend there in an average week. On Monday, Labor day, early in the evening we ordered a fair amount of food. 3 of the 4 meals were TOTALLY INEDIBLE AND WENT RIGHT IN THE TRASH. I SPENT ABOUT $56 and gave a $7 tip to the driver. The chicken wings were so dry and old you could not eat the meat from the bone. The coating was like dried nuggets stuck on. The Caesar salad came DRENCHED in dressing. Like salad soup. And the dressing was not good. The Carbe Asada, always tough but well flavored, could jot be cut. After trying steak knives ( new imported) I upped the attempt to a carving night. No matter how small you cut the pieces, they could not be chewed. Right from mouth to napkin to trash. Since we are frequent customers, I spoke discreetly to the counterman tonight. (my first time back to the restaurant). I Sked if perhaps tge staff was on a holiday schedule. He said they were not. I paid for my small order. He offered no consideration, advising me to call next time so they could replace the food. I felt I really got the brush off. Not saying I will not order again ( my grandson likes the pizza and the paninis) but they will see a major decrease in what I spend there, especially given the drop in food quality. read more

Amazing food. The workers are very nice and always there if something's wrong. Their dinners are a STEAL. Soup or a salad, garlic bread, and huge portion of food. There's enough to last for two even three whole days after. They have a huge menu full of sand which es, wings, and salads. The pizza has a huge variety full of specialty pizzas. The pizzeria I usually go to happen to be closed that night, so I decided to check out pizza express. It's a cute little spot where you can sit and eat, or just pick up. I was very happy with my specialty pie which was half buffalo chicken and sausage and peppers. The flavor was excellent and the dough was very fluffy. On my other pie the pizza was pretty thin and I tasted more sauce than anything else. I will probably come back at some point in the future, but I'll still keep other options open. read more

While food had some flavor, for the price it's not worth trying. We ordered chicken scarpielo (chicken, sausage, mushrooms, onions in a garlic wine sauce) there was one (small) piece of chicken. With the extra sauce we could have made 2 more meals. We also ordered chicken Florentine (chicken spinach tomato and mozzarella) again one (small) piece of chicken and a lot of sauce. We opted not to have soup salad or bread but something could have been done with the price. For $30+ we would never order again. Very disappointed! read more

Called here tonight was wanting to try them as we frequented the prior two owners. We got sent four coupons in a bi-fold menu with no expiration dates. After calling and being told first "they took it off the menu yesterday it expired", called my husband back, he said no it has no expiration date. Second call was told " no, that's the Sunday special" and tried to sell me other specials for 20.95 instead of 16.95. Call my husband again, "no, it does not say Sunday special". I am a previous employee at Pizza Express, the mistreatment and poor work environment I experienced and endured here is unforgiveable and unforgetable. I was working more hours than my working papers perviously allowed, and getting paid under minimum wage while the kitchen staff did. I was now allowed any money from the tip jars, although I was counter assistance and the only one doing transactions. I would waitress tables and portions or all my money would be taken ( the tip left on the table ). Not to mention the creepy delivery guy which I had a problem with, I was 14 and he was 25, along with others previously employed that other employees had a problem with. When I brought up this issues, it didn't seem important or in the owners best intrest to fire the driver and keep his staff. I was here on 4th of July. What a huge mistake. Ordered chicken bacon wrap and it comes with fries. First off fries tasted like they were cooked in grease ( terrible). Then when you order chicken bacon ranch slice, there is no lettuce, onion and tomato on it and I specifically said just chicken bacon ranch wrap. Well after paying nearly $10.00 I ended up throwing it out in the garbage can on side of building.
