I've been craving something healthier so I ordered a grilled chicken Caesar wrap. It was packed full of chicken and had an excellent ratio of dressing to lettuce to chicken. The wrap was satisfying and big enough that I am taking the other half for lunch tomorrow. My husband had a grilled chicken Caesar salad to avoid some carbs. I have been a regular customer of Delizia in Dover. Always had good service, orders accurate, prices good. However, a few months ago, something changed. Don't know if management changed, different staff, but it seems every experience I've had recently has been disappointing: deliveries arrive incomplete, dishes not as ordered, plates and silverware missing. One recent order arrived with a complete pizza missing that I ordered and paid for! I usually give new staff a few tries to get it right, but things have not improved and I'm really disappointed to say that I won't be going there anymore. read more

Love Delizias for a quick bite! On the corner of King Street and E McFarlan, they are super convenient to find. 99 cents plain slices! Love their garlic knots and marinara sauce too! Great food for a great price. I also love that they've renovated, looking wonderful inside! Staff are following safety precautions of COVID-19. I ordered from them for delivery. They stacked the other food I ordered on top of the pizza. When we opened the box, the cheese was stuck to the roof, and the bottom of the pizza was burned. When I contacted the restaurant, I was told to bring the pizza back, so a new one could be made. I paid for delivery and tip, so why should I drive the pizza they screwed up to their restaurant. Besides that, my wife was home with a toddler and a baby. I guess she was supposed to pack the kids into a car and drive a pizza that was paid to deliver. I will never order from here again. I spend about $50-60 a week there. There are other well deserving places to spend my money. Time is on my side because places with this type of customer service close in this financial climate. read more

Buffalo chicken is a close second with this sauce that just hits so well. Not to be forgotten is their broader menu, pastas and wraps (honorable mention for the Brooklyn wrap!). And their mozzarella is very fresh and in direct combination with great dough, it's -Pizza Perfection- Whether you like thin crust, thick crust, traditional, or gourmet style pizza, you cannot go wrong with any style that they make here. We pass this corner pizza place a lot. It's a little further afield then our favorite, M&S, also on Rt 46. For fun, we decided to expand our world and give this pizza shop a try. Glad we did too. The shop has a welcoming, family feel. Very nice people behind the counter. We had a couple of slices and sodas. Quick service, tasty sauce and a crust with good "tooth" mark their pie. Tight street parking is the only negative. Worth a visit for the Pizza afflicted. read more

My in laws ordered pizza from here, they ordered a plain cheese and a white pie with broccoli. Plain pie was good, not greasy and crispy but not burnt crust. The white pie holy cow...I could only handle one slice of all of its ricotta glory. Best white pie I've had in a long time, not overwhelmingly garlicky and perfectly cooked broccoli. Called to make an inquiry and no manager to be found. No one could care less how bad the food was. Don't think you could pay me enough money to go back to this place. Absolutely disgusting. Update: Unfortunately the Sicilian slices which used to be great no longer are. They are now using less than 1/2 the cheese they used to on them. The cheese doesn't even cover the slice anymore, just the middle where the ends have only tomato sauce on them! I complained twice (to 3 different people) about how their sicilian slices aren't worth getting anymore. I was told "It's the new way the owner wants them". About three weeks have past with no changes from my input, so I figured it was time to update this review... It's a real shame since I used to come here all the time for them. So to break it down this is a pizza place that doesn't have good pizza (regular or Sicilian). For now the meatball sandwiches & subs are good unless they change (cheapen) those as well. This place is amazing! Not only is the food outstanding, but they truly go above and beyond. We order food weekly for delivery for my 96 year old WWII Vet father who lives in a local nursing home. He so looks forward to it. But, when he was diagnosed with COVID a second time, they moved him to their facility in Somerset County. Delizia saw a post I put on Facebook about their food and his love of their cannoli and the next day, they jumped in the car and dropped of two boxes with 10 cannoli for him. 45 minutes away. No charge. Finding people who run a business like this nowadays is far and few between. Thank you for what you do. read more

We usually do take out Friday nights and Delizia is one of the regular places we go to. I ordered the eggplant parm sub. It was OK - I've had better. The tomato sauce tasted like it was right out of a can or jar without being cooked. The other member of my party had the Brooklyn sub. She enjoyed it along with French fries. What you get here is decent pizza at an amazingly low price of $1.06. I can't remember the last time I paid $1.06 for a slice of pizza. I believe the plain slices are charged at that rate only. Because they were so efficient, strongly organized, quick service, excellent food with lots of flavor and always went above and beyond, employees were impressed; thereby, making me look good with management because of good judgment in food and service. One other comment, and very important, I remember handling meeting logistics based on 30 people for food headcount at one particular event in our Parsippany office. Forty-five minutes prior to meeting commencement, unexpectantly, twelve additional guests arrived. With confidence, I immediately called Azem, owner, and explained the increase in meeting attendees. Through impeccable teamwork, food was still delivered on a timely basis. He knew the sense of urgency. He once again came through for our company. He's AMAZING!! My whole family enjoys the pizza, Italian hot dogs, salads, pastas, etc. I especially enjoy the eggplant parm meal or sandwich. I have found that lately the sauce is extremely salt, which is not good for my blood pressure. Cut down on the salt and let people add their own salt, if needed. Must be new ownership. I asked for chicken with peppers onions and mushrooms in a marinara sauce. The woman behind the counter asks if i want the chicken grilled. I've never been asked that. I tell her no, it should be cooked same as any chicken dinner. I got grilled chicken strips laid on top of mushrooms peppers and onions which were barely cooked in a marinara sauce that was spicy hot. Beware... the chicken they serve is the rubbery kind.
