Beef, Chicken & Bacon Empanada
Robert G.

Another new place tonight. Got delivery from grub hub. Got a Spinach & Cheese Roll which was filled with spinach and cheese made fresh. Some pepperoni chips which was pretty interesting. Beef, Chicken & Bacon Empanada which to me was a plain chicken empanada but was still good. Got a Vegetable Stromboli as well. Was packed with vegetables. Stromboli was a bit soggy but still was pretty good. Would definitely go again.

Good pizzeria Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. The staff is friendly, the price is fair. Plenty of seatings. My 5 year old son really enjoyed the pepperoni pizza and devoured the whole slice so I didn't get to try it. But it looked good. The eggplant parm sub was quite good. The bread was fresh and crunchy and it was nice and hot. They also give you a good amount of eggplant. For $9.50 it's a steal. Definitely should consider this place if you need a quick bite. They have many other Italian dishes on the menu too which we need to try.

Chicken parm and choice of pasta....I chose rigatoni

Have been meaning to try here for a while now as we have friends who come often. Spur of the moment dinner on a Saturday at 6:30. Seated quickly, but server did not come over until I closed my menu. I ordered chicken parm and dear husband had chicken Marsala. Both come with bread (regular or garlic) and a soup or salad, plus pasta. Everything tasted delicious. We both took our leftovers home and ate them for lunch the next day and they still tasted good. The highlight of the meal was our drink's being served in those tall classic red coke cups. Sweet! The whole meal was reasonably priced and tasted good. We will be back soon!!

Lunch panic averted -- and what a find!…read more I didn't bring lunch to work and was deep in the "what am I going to eat?" struggle when The Great Wazu popped up in my search. I'll admit, seeing that it was primarily a sandwich shop made me hesitate since I need gluten-free options. But I was thrilled to see they offer gluten-free bread -- and even more relieved when I spoke to the incredibly kind server who walked me through their celiac protocol. As someone who worries about cross-contamination, that conversation alone put me at ease. I originally planned to grab something quick and rush back to work, but I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the place is. For a strip mall location in Parsippany, there's actually plenty of seating, and the atmosphere feels welcoming and comfortable. Bonus: tons of parking, which is always appreciated. The menu has so many tempting options -- sandwiches, wraps, salads, chips, sweet treats, and beverages. Once I saw they had gluten-free bread, I may have gotten a little carried away and ordered two sandwiches: the Walnut Cranberry Chicken Salad and the Italiano. No regrets! Both were generously portioned and packed with flavor. I was especially impressed that they use four slices of gluten-free bread per sandwich -- which is thoughtful since GF slices tend to be smaller. For the price, that extra effort really stood out. I also grabbed a side of coleslaw and their homemade potato salad -- both fresh, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the sandwiches. Friendly service, great gluten-free awareness, generous portions, and lots of variety -- I'm so glad I found this spot. I'll absolutely be back to work my way through more of the menu.

A Genuine Taste of Old-School Deli Magic Stepping into…read moreParsippany Deli is like taking a delightful trip back in time. This is the definition of an old-school, old-fashioned deli, right down to the atmosphere and the incredibly old-fashioned staff. As someone who drove up looking for a quick, post-work lunch and is used to the quick pace of a city like Chicago, I was thrilled--this place absolutely didn't miss. The food here is genuinely delicious. I highly recommend the hot pastrami sandwich--it was simply so good!--and the seafood salad sub was excellent, hitting all the right notes for a satisfying lunch. Now, about that old-school experience: I called my order in and, after driving up and eventually snagging a rare parking spot, I walked in about ten minutes later. When I asked about my pick-up order, the initial response from one of the women was a little huff. After clarifying I had called it in, they then began to prepare the order. It's that slightly chaotic, "we'll get to you when we get to you" style, which honestly just adds to the authentic, unhurried, classic charm of the place once you accept the pace. The only minor note was the potato salad. It wasn't bad by any means, but it wasn't my cup of tea; I prefer a different preparation style. But one side dish quirk isn't enough to detract from the overall fantastic experience. If you're in the area and craving a truly authentic, high-quality deli lunch, I would absolutely recommend Parsippany Deli. Go for the hot pastrami sandwich or the seafood salad sub, enjoy the flavor, and embrace the classic deli charm!

The deli is very old school, nothing fancy. There's a counter in the back where you order and there's shelves stocked with chips and drinks. No dining inside. The sandwiches were awesome! My stepson had the #2 with provolone added and I had a Hot Pastrami. First off, the half size of the subs is huge. His turkey sandwich looked like it could feed 2 people. My pastrami on rye was delicious! The meat was very tender with no fat. The prices here are fantastic and the quality of the food is high. If you're looking for sandwiches better than the national franchise stores, stop in here. The service was super friendly as well!

As you might be able to tell from that opener I've found my new home for Bagels. We were discussing burgers yesterday and Habit came up. I'd never eaten at one. He wanted one. Perfect. Pulls in at 8:45, takes a few minutes to figure out the ordering kiosk. I will therefore note this is an issue to anticipate. The order itself didn't seem to take too long. As for what came home with my friend: * Intrigued by the dragonfruit limeade. Would be something to keep in mind if I find myself at Habit again. * I enjoyed my burger. The patty was the weakest part, very plain and underwhelming. But the portabello mushroom and associated toppings? Mwah. That all made the sandwich. But the best burger places know how to make the meat score points. * My friend got the tempura green beans. Apparently those were just OK, maybe not tempuraed enough. I noticed when looking at the sides, every dipping sauce costs money besides ketchup packets (m'eh) and none of them really looked that interesting to me. So the upsides? Good value, tasty mushrooms. The downsides? Limited selections, uninspiring burger meat. I'll call it a strong 3 stars and if I do end up here (or another Habit) I will reconsider.
