Shake Hands with a Slice of Pepperoni!!

They say that man cannot live on bread alone and that may be so, but you put Sauce, Cheese, and Pepperoni on it and I'm Your Man, Lol. Parsippany is FULL of great Pizza places and Baldwin's is definitely a really solid example of that. This place gets it's name from the shopping center where it calls home. It's a Family owned and operated Mom and Pop type Business that's been around since 1969. Justin and his hard working staff are always busy serving up some incredibly tasty Italian inspired comfort food for all of their customer's dine-in, takeout, or delivery conveniences.    You Win, I Win, Everybody Wins at BaldWin Pizzeria!! Lol, but seriously the real winners are anybody lucky enough to enjoy some of this delicious drool worthy Jersey Style Pizza. Come And Get Your Munch On!!

Always on the lookout for pizzerias, I found Baldwin Pizzeria in my bookmarked list. Today, I had the chance to stop there for lunch. I really liked this place. It reminded me of old time pizza places I grew up on in Queens. The restaurant is in a strip mall on Baldwin Rd, right off Rt 46 in Parsippany. Easy to get to, plenty of parking. Usually when I try a new place, I just go with a plain slice. Here though, the chicken rollatini slice was calling out to me. Really tasty with a nice crust. Delicious! I'm not sure if the guy behind the counter was the owner, but he was very friendly. $5.50 for a specialty slice and can of soda is very reasonable too. Stop in and give this place a shot!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaas! I recently moved to the area and I was hoping I would find an amazing pizza spot with gluten-free crust. Baldwin Pizzeria is in a perfect location right off of Rt. 46 in a shopping center with plenty of parking. They offer delicious and fairly thick (for gluten-free) crusts and of course, regular pizza. I treated my parents to lunch and they loved it, which is shocking because my mother is super picky about 'za. Good for my mental being and not for my waistline, I'll surely be ordering from them again and again. The staff are awesome and make you feel like you're an old familiar, even if it's your first time visiting.

I used to come here all the time when I was in high school. The staff is super friendly and outgoing. They are very welcoming to all their customers and quick on their feet. I used to order their cheese pizza all the time because it was only $2 a slice. I came back a week ago to visit because it's been a while since I had their pizza. I decided to try out their margarita pizza and thought it was amazing. I really like how their crust is crispy and not too soft. Even though their pizza is reheated pizza, most pizza places are like that anyways. So, I don't find an issue with that. The only thing is that I wish they would label what flavor(?) pizzas are on display. I found it bit difficult to identify what pizza flavor I was looking at -- like margarita or veggie, etc. I think by labeling which pizza is on display will definitely help their customers when they are ordering instead of having to point for the one they want. Overall, I've been to a lot of pizza places since I grew up in Parsippany, and I believe that this is honestly one of the best pizza places around here.

I drove 8 miles to pick it up and on the way back I ate all 8 slices of my 12" pizza - while driving! Lovely woman at the counter steered me to their best pie - Grandma's. "What makes it best?", I asked. "The sauce." Yes, I agree sauce does, indeed, make the pie. What set this sauce apart? Kitchen sauce on Grandma's, pizza sauce on the others. After having had both I can confidently tell you that both sauces make these pies - delicious. Personally, I like a bit of a soft crust with some center flop. Neither of these are that pizza - which makes it more amazing that I loved both the pies. Crisp, thin crust with good flavor. Big hit at the friend's house, too. Next time we want a pizza, Johnny's it is. They had an extensive menu of salads and Italian dishes as well and I would be willing to bet those dishes are also excellent if the pizza sauces are any clue. Parking tip, the lot is on Mt Pleasant Ave. there were a few dine in tables inside but most orders were to go. Another clue the place would (at least) live up to its star rating was the volume of pick ups on a random Tuesday around 4:30.

The fresh grandma's was a bit too soggy (fresh moz, tomatoes - all lead to a runny topping set), the regular grandma's was ok, and the favorite was the broccoli rabe w/ sausage in the group. Crust was tougher than Nonna's and overall - had better. Shop is simple, they have some seating and specials, and lots of people from nearby Double Tap which has no food order from here.

I sat at the bar because the wait for a table was long, and the service was excellent. Each of the bartenders was friendly and attentive. Although I sat at the bar, I had a peach iced tea and one of their seasonal mocktails. Both tasted fantastic, and I didn't even miss the alcohol. For dinner, I had the Bader Sting pizza, which featured soppressata, mozzarella, tomato sauce, and hot honey. It was fantastic. My mate had the grandma pizza (mozzarella, pecorino romano, pesto, garlic, tomato sauce, oregano), and it was equally delicious. Since we were served bread before the meal, we could've shared one pizza since it had 6 slices, but I was glad I had leftovers. All in all, I had a great experience at Woodstack and look forward to trying their wings since I saw so many orders coming out. We couldn't get a table as walk-ins, but the bar high-tops were totally fine. The staff was attentive, and for a busy Sunday we were able to place our order pretty quickly. We tried the eggplant pizza, citrus olives, and the beet salad. The pizza was super fresh and came straight out of the wood oven, but honestly the standout parts of the meal were the house-made marinated citrus olives and the warm bread they slice and serve as soon as you sit down. Those olives are a must-order. The rest of the meal was solid, though the beet salad was just okay--it could have used more volume and toppings to make it feel more balanced. Service was friendly, but they did linger a bit and stopped by our table more than I would've preferred, I'm talking the server, busser, and food runner? and some other random employees? Love how willing they are to make sure you're having a good dining experience but it was quite disruptive to the actual meal.

I'm honestly shocked this place isn't packed wall-to-wall every night -- this is the kind of pizza you expect to find in Naples . From the second you walk in, you know they take their craft seriously. Stacks of real wood, the authentic Pavesi Italian oven, and trays of perfectly risen dough balls -- it's the real deal. No shortcuts, no gimmicks. Just craftsmanship. I ordered two pies: White Pie with Mushrooms & Olives Incredible. The crust has that perfect leopard-spotted char, blistered just right, crispy on the outside but still soft and airy inside. The ricotta and mozzarella are super fresh, the mushrooms taste like they were sliced minutes before hitting the oven, and the olives add the perfect salty punch. Every bite tasted like it was straight out of a wood-fired pizza boutique. Classic Margherita One word: unreal. The sauce is bright and fresh, the cheese melts into little pools of heaven, and the basil actually survives the oven without turning bitter. Balanced, clean, and addictive. The crust is truly the star -- you can tell they use high-quality "00" flour and slow fermentation. Light, airy, not heavy at all. The kind of crust you want to eat all of, even the charred ends. The owner Mike clearly cares about every detail -- from the dough to the toppings to the oven temperature. This isn't "pizza shop pizza," this is artisanal, handcrafted, authentic wood-fired pizza done right. Prices are super fair for this quality. Cash-only but totally worth it. If you love real Neapolitan wood-fired pizza, put this place on your list immediately. Easily one of the best pies I've had in NJ -- maybe the best. I'll definitely be back .
