Antipasto Al Forno I ordered several yummy appetizers and meal. I also ordered the Taranto pizza OMG SOOOOO GOOOOD

I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that this place exists! Top notch quality food. Super yummy. Blows ALL the other restaurants out of the water! It's a little out of my way. But the food is just outstanding. Sometimes I go closer to home and the food is OK at the restaurant. And then I stopped back in this place and my taste buds are singing. My tummy is happy. Love this place.

I stopped into this restaurant for dinner! When I arrived I parked in their lot. I walked into a super cute BYOB restaurant! I was served by Shannon and she was great! I ordered: Cozze Marinara (Spicy mussels) Polpette al Sugo (Meatballs) Ruota di Focaccia Barese Gamberi Classici (Shrimp scampi linguini) Pollo alla Barese (Grilled chicken) The food was delicious but the meatballs were my favorite! This place was great all in all!

A fantastic place to grab lunch or have a meal. They have a nice sit-down area and a take-out counter available. The pizza was to die for! You can tell they only use the freshest ingredients. My MIL and I had a great lunch here. The staff were very accommodating and we did not feel rushed. They have high chairs available for little ones and the dining area has sufficient space (though i wouldn't necessarily come in with a stroller). I can't wait to come back with my husband!

If you want a traditional, authentic Italian dining experience- this family- run restaurant is your spot. Apulia, Italy is known for focaccia and this place makes it the right way. They flew all the way to Italy, bought their focaccia pans there, went to their family's hometown and had the pans burned the traditional way. It's incredible. We tried both the red and white focaccia and loved them both. We also tried numerous other dishes that we loved. They make a lot of their own cheese and pastas in house. Service was great- fast, attentive, kind. The owner came out and talked to us, made us feel like family.

Antipasto al Forno this place this dish was amazing. The energy the people everything about this wonderful establishment is top notch.

Focaccia is to die for!!! You need to order it. Wait staff was very nice. Nice dining room. Loved the eggplant rollatini and Cacio Pepe. Food was great, will definitely be back if I'm in the area.

Limoncello dessert, which was absolutely amazing!

I had Apulia cater my husbands 50th birthday. I had not eaten here before, but it was highly recommended by one of our friends. One of the owners, Daniella, had helped me place my order, she let me know when she felt that I was ordering too much food. One of her recommendations was the focaccia and it definitely was a fan favorite. The food did not disappoint! The customer service and the friendliness of the staff and the owners was outstanding. It was probably the best vodka sauce that we had ever had. Everyone raved about the chicken Parm! As well as a fried calamari. We came here for dinner tonight. We were a group of 11 and our waitress Janell was fantastic! The food was extremely good. And I have to say the dessert was outrageously good. I got the Lemoncello ice cream and I would definitely get it again! I cannot wait to visit again soon.

We have nothing but amazing things to say about Apulia! We've eaten here 4 times so far and here's our honest review: -Absolutely delicious food, truly authentic Italian -Incredible service -Warm, inviting owners & staff -Beautiful space -BYOB (which we love) -Beautiful plates, very "instagram-worthy" Only downside we can think of is sometimes there's a wait because it gets so busy, especially on weekends... but that's just a testament to how truly delicious & amazing this place is! We'll keep coming back again & again!

Fabulous every time! BYOB. We always start with either the red or white focaccia. Both so good! I either get a chicken dish or the salmon. My son likes the pizza. My husband usually gets a seafood combo or pasta. Their food is fresh, always consistent, and they give nice portions! They don't take reservations for dinner and it gets packed early. They will put your name on a list. The staff is super friendly as well. Highly recommend this place.

Very beautiful and modern restaurant with a great vibe and even better food! The service was great and super friendly with servers checking in frequently. They just opened so there was a bit of a wait but well worth it. I hope to continue to see them so busy that there is always a wait! :) It was a wonderful date night for my fiancé and I and we absolutely will be back. A very welcome addition to the area!

We were chatting with Vanessa before realizing she would be singing later, and wow--she has a beautiful voice and sang some favorites like "Just the Two of Us." We ordered the fried whiting over a waffle, fried chicken with collard greens and fried okra, and shrimp and grits with a pecan coating. Portions were huge, so we took plenty home for our group of three adults and a toddler. Everything was slightly spicy, super crispy, and absolutely delicious. A small but much-appreciated touch: they brought our 2-year-old ice water with a lid without us even asking. The warm sweet potato cornbread muffins were amazing--we liked them so much we ordered some to take home. We'll definitely be back!

Entire staff primarily speaks Spanish and aren't properly trained enough to even know how to take an order at your table. The poor girl tried hard to try to write down our simple order but the language barrier made it hard for her to type our order into the system. She returned to the table 5x to explain the various mistakes she made trying to put the order in. As I stood near the bar waiting to put my OWN drink order in, the young confused waitress ran over to tell me that the kitchen was out of collard greens. I smoked and substituted it for something else. 10 minutes later she arrives with my oversalted chicken and collard greens. Maybe wait a few years and try them, if they happen to stay open by some miracle.

I had never actually been to Southern Table, I had only ever had takeout from there once or twice,…read morebut I have been wanting to try it for ages and I have to say it was worth the wait. We went on Easter for brunch, which we decided to do last minute and they let us know they could squeeze us in. We sat on the screened in patio. They were massively busy, but the staff was on their toes, checking in, taking away empty plates, being very kind (even though they were clearly crazy with how busy they were). We started with the Brie stuff pretzels. They were more like pretzel sandwiches (pretzel sticks cut in half with Brie in between), but were really tasty. It was all so good, I kept forgetting to take pictures until after we had already dug in. The pretzel app came with 4 pretzel/brie sandwiches. We also got the spinach an artichoke dip. It came with a nice amount of chips (hate when they give you too few and then you're just left with gobs of dip and nothing for it). It also came with salsa and sour cream, which seemed odd, but was nice for the extra chips and also family friendly if the dip didn't appeal to kids. The dip itself was really nice, it didn't taste as rich as spinach and artichoke dips often are. I could really taste the spinach, but in a good way. Usually dips like that make me feel overly full and are so heavy, this was a refreshing take on it. We got the Dutch baby pancake, the kids Mac and cheese, the pimento cheese and ham omelet (which I got scrambled), chicken and waffles, and the hot honey chicken. Overall, the food was delicious. The flavors all had depth and were really satisfying. We came home with lots of leftovers and we were all very happy when the meal was done. We will definitely be going back.

It takes familiar dishes and presents them with a bit more care and a bit more intention. You taste that difference almost immediately. The food doesn't just satisfy; it reassures you that it was made thoughtfully. Of course, that level of care comes with a price, and you feel it. But in most cases, the quality justifies the cost. You may hesitate when ordering, but not when eating. The undeniable centerpiece is the Bulleit Burger. It's rich, balanced, and memorable in a way that lingers beyond the meal. If you're ordering from Southern Table, it feels less like an option and more like an obligation. Most of my experiences have been through takeout, which has held up well. Still, dining in offers its own appeal. The space is large and comes with an easy, welcoming energy that works well for a casual night out. Highlights: * Bulleit Burger * Elevated presentation and ingredient quality * Consistent execution across visits Lowlights: * Pricing is on the higher side

I've had me some soul food in Mississippi and 'Bama, though at a fraction of the price you get up North. Look, it's a Montclair thing. Pluses: Black owned restaurant serving cultural staples, plus foods for people who don't want Southern. Ambiance featured soul music, and at one point was playing Shaft! I can dig it. You're not left wanting for food quantity or quality. Plenty of shrimp in the grits, for example. Server was very pleasant to talk to with a little Southern twang to her voice. Why not five stars: Flavor needs deepening. For example, in the South I'm used to seeing okra chopped and breaded before being fried. Maybe more oily that way, more carbs... but more flavor as a result. I had the pulled chicken mac, which was a bit smaller of a dish overall (a bit intentional on my part) - and while the cheese flavors run deep, the meat did not. Shrimp and grits, I took a quick sample of my friend's grits and... I bet you can guess my finding there. Still, a very nice change from the usual Northern selection of foods. I would not hesitate to say Sweet T's is authentic and a nice visit if you're in town. You'll be paying a pretty penny wherever you eat, so you can tag this one on your list.

ORIGIN: Khalliah Murphy (aka Lady K) enjoyed cooking since…read moreshe was a little girl. After completing culinary school, Murphy started a Yonkers-based catering company, and later, in 2016, moved north to open a brick and mortar cafe -- Lady K's Southern Comfort. LOCATION: Lady K's Southern Comfort is located in a small strip mall along Violet Avenue/Route 9G. Ample parking is available. CONCEPT: Lady K's offers quintessential southern comfort food, such as rice with pigeon peas and slow cooked savory collard greens, however tastes of other culinary heritages, such as empanadas, are sprinkled across the menu. Lady K's primarily offers dishes that represent home cooked southern meals -- on site, as take out, or custom catered events. SERVICE: One thing that stands out about Lady K's Southern Comfort is the homey feeling. This extends to the service. During my weekend afternoon visit Khalliah and Shawn Murphy's daughter and son were eagerly helping (Little K and Littlest K). Although customers place their orders at the counter, I was still asked whether I liked what I had chosen. My response brought a proud smile to Little K's face! EXPERIENCE: Plates are available in three sizes, with a protein and two choice of sides. I experienced the small fried chicken with collard greens and macaroni and cheese on the side. Khalliah's family were known for their fried chicken recipe in their Bronx neighborhood, so it comes as no surprise that the chicken was expertly executed -- crisp, non-greasy exterior encasing juicy, moist interior at every bite. Complementing this was the collard greens, in which multiple flavors were married and had just the right amount of vinegary flavor. Next time I will ask for double sides of collard greens -- it's that outstanding! While multiple tables are set up for dining, Lady K's is currently primarily set up for take out. Although photos on Yelp suggest there was plated service in the past, all food is now served in compartmented styrofoam take out containers. This was my only disappointment as I feel household plates and utensils would reflect the homey dishes for those who are looking to dine in. TIPS: Check Lady K's Facebook profile for rare temporary changes in daily hours. Kool Aid is one of the beverage options. I have never seen that before in a menu and I think it's available adds to the homey aspect of the meals prepared at offered at Lady K's Southern Comfort. Kool Aid was a staple in homes in my neighborhood, and the cheerfully colored packets of flavoring powders are rarely found in grocery stores today.

The desserts were a highlight too, the peach empanada was nice and warm, buttery, paired perfectly with the ice cream and icing, and the banana pudding was smooth, classic, and comforting with the nilla wafer crumble and fresh banana.
