Their service is terrible here. The guy in the front clearly doesn't want to work at Lucci's and seems bothered to handle anything at all. 1st time: Placed an order over the phone on Sunday evening. Guy seemed overwhelmed and reluctantly took my order. I showed up 30 min later and no one had any record of my order. I recognized the guy's voice and told him he took my order. He was pissed and got into a shouting match with me with 3 other customers around. He eventually apologized and offered a free side of meatballs and spaghetti (don't order that btw, super underwhelming). 2nd time: Wife placed an order for a pie with half pepperoni on their website. Came back with the order and the pie had full toppings. Small nit but annoying. 3rd time: I called at 6pm on a Thursday. No one picked up. Opted to place order on their website and got the same item as last time. Showed up at and the same miserable guy asked for my name and order... and then said he didn't have any order. I told him I placed an order on the website... and he said "You should have called." with an awful (only a mother can love) grin. I showed him my email confirming 6:20pm pickup time and he said he had no order... before pulling a pie with my name on it. I asked if it had half pepperoni and it didn't. Full toppings AGAIN. Clearly, their website is not equipped to actually take half toppings orders. Pizza is OK but not worth the headache or poor service here. read more

So when I want a slice of pizza late night "lately" this has been my go to spot. They close at midnight except for Friday and Saturday which is at 2am. I love a slice of pizza that has the crunchy bottom and the pepperoni is charred and cupped. Their white slice is good too. If you want that crunch but not too crunchy come here for a late night slice. They have pastas and sandwiches but never had it. Maybe one day. Roadside pizzeria on Rt 3 west in Clifton. Brick oven pizza, which I'm always a fan. Wasn't mad at the pizza, sprinkled with fresh whole basil for a nice touch. My one daughter had the Spicy Rigatoni and had no complaints. Said it was tasty with a slight kick. Also ordered the Italian Combo Sandwich and wasn't a fan. The Cherry pepper spread wasn't that good. Could do without it in my opinion. Small sit down area, so don't expect a big comfortable dining room. I moved back to Jersey (YAY) and got so excited when I remembered that I can now just find random pizzerias and have pizza anytime of day lol. Lucci's was the pizzeria that was the closest to me after I did a bit of Christmas shopping so I decided to run in and see what they were talking about. Outside there's a sign that says "under new ownership" so it doesn't scream Lucci's, but if you see the sign that's the right place. Walking in it immediately took me back to an old world style pizzeria because of the decor and all the pies and slices lined up at the counter. The gentleman making the pies immediately greeted me and I decided on ordering a regular slice to eat in (a regular slice is how you judge a pizzeria) and I also got two squares to go (1 vodka and the other grandma). The slices were warmed up a little and my to-gos were packed in traditional paper bags with the paper plates and I grabbed a seat to eat the plain slice. First thing I noticed was that the crust was a little thicker than I'm used to, however, it was perfectly balanced between crisp and doughy and the pizza itself was pretty good...good enough that I couldn't wait until later to eat my to-go squares lol. The vodka was my favorite square ... I mean it was delicious! And there's a nice surprise on the bottom crust of sesame seeds which I've never had on pizza but it worked and took it to the next level! The grandma square was great too and it made me realize that I've gotta go back to try their other squares (& to get another vodka one lol). read more

Ever since 3 West pizza closed down, I was waiting for a pizza joint to open up in this location again. Thank goodness Lucci's revamped this store and opened up. My wife and I stopped by on Easter after many other pizza joints were closed down. The service was amazing, the grandma slices we had while we waited were delicious and the worker even showed us our pizza a couple times to make sure it was baking to our like (we didn't ask, just a good customer service piece). Hidden gem of a pizza joint located on Rt. 3 westbound located in Clifton. I had a couple slices of pizza and a chicken/ broccoli roll. Starting with the food it was very good. Had a police officer plain cheese pizza and a slice of square pizza with basil and vodka sauce. The plain slice was good and the vodka slice was outstanding. The chicken/broccoli roll was very good. I usually don't order these but I'm glad I did. Loaded with broccoli, chicken, mushrooms, and plenty of cheese. Will definitely be trying some of these again in the future. Rounding out the experience was the service which was excellent. The guy at the counter was friendly and great. The owner was in there as well and he was a really nice guy. Oh wow! Absolutely great food. I discovered this spot through a TikTok video and bookmarked it and after a few months I made it here and oh wow what a find. Absolutely loved it! That MVP grandma slice was delicious. I had a plain slice and a pepperoni slice which were also very dang good but my favorite was the MVP slice. Very very satisfying with the pizza here, its a must try but the chicken parm platter was even better. That chicken parm is in a class of its own, definitely a must try. I highly recommend Lucci's to anybody that's thinking about stopping by. I met the cook behind the counter, I believe his name was Abe, sorry if I got it wrong, I suck with names but very nice guy. Stopped by Lucci's today for takeout, love how the restaurant looks but the location is a bit hard to get to. I placed an online order and unfortunately had to wait longer than expected but didn't mind since I wasn't in a rush. I think for their online popularity should hire at least one more person to do the opening shift as when I got there only the pizza maker was there and he was taking on all the roles of the store. The food was excellent, we got the spicy rigatoni and a variety of slices! The spicy rigatoni is spicy warned! But everything was very tasty and I love the pizza sauce they use! So, we decided to give Lucci's a try despite the little reviews they had. Boy, were we happy to find this gem! We ordered two large pepperoni pizzas for take out. The smell coming from the hot pizza warmed the car with mouthwatering deliciousness. Just the smell gave me hope that we had made a good decision. When we got home, the pizza was the perfect temperature to dive into without burning your mouth. And all 4 of us agreed it's some of the best pizza we've had in a while. Have passed this place many times over the years and finally decided to stop in for lunch. I am glad I did. The place is small inside, but can fit 18 guests. Man behind the counter was very friendly. Ordered 2 slices, 1 pepperoni and 1 sausage. Nice size and very tasty. The sauce had a great taste to it and the slices had a very good amount of toppings. They use the small cupped pepperoni here. My new pizza place!! Humongous pie with a great sauce, good cheese, and a killer crust. The place is about 20 minute ride from my home, but I'm taking that ride weekly.
