Potato and eggs ? What

I have been coming here for years .Always liked food .Ordered potato and egg hero . Got greasy french fries all stuck together and a little bit of scrambled eggs. For an italian rest. they should know how to cook potatos and eggs . I normally would not call but it was really bothering me. Owner was too busy to talk to me so server apologized and offered a refund. Decided not to take her up on the offer. Went in the trash and $13.00 out the window.

I got a Pineapple, Ham, and grilled chicken pie. I have a black cat named Chancellor Palpatine. I joined a fraternity at 27 years old. I am starting to question who I am in today's society... and what if I don't fit in... I just want to be in a society where people don't think I'm a psycho for ordering this pizza. anyway the pizza was perfect.

Italian Veggie Pizza. Sooo good!

Wonderful experience from service to food! The girls taking orders are friendly and get it right! The Saturday delivery guy found my apartment easily (which rarely happens) and came to the door and helped me put the very hot food down. The pizza box got a little crushed from the things on top and he made sure the pizza was still ok. Total class act! I like "different" pizza. And I saw someone on Yelp talked about their Taco Pizza. It's not on the menu but they make one; and it's fantastic! Tonight I tried their Italian Veggie Pizza, and they were very generous with toppings! It was delish, covered with cheese, broccoli Rabe, Eggplant, roasted peppers, artichoke hearts and olives on a thin crust that still stood up to the toppings. I had a taste of their pasta with white clam sauce and it was so smartly packaged in a second larger tin, to keep it from leaking. It was still hot and had lots of crushed clams, and the pasta was perfectly al dente. The fried calamari was tasty and not over chewy, the only thing lacking was a lemon wedge. The medium marinara dipping sauce was absolutely yummy on them. Oh and they are open late!!! Til Midnite Friday and Saturday. Their website for ordering doesn't work so just call them. They deliver locally directly and for out of area you can use doordash.

To order!!

I read the reviews, saw the news articles and had to dine here. What a treat. I went simple after asking several exhausting questions (thank you Samantha for being patient). The pizza...the pepperoni was outstanding!! But the crust!! I ordered a personal pepperoni pizza and it was large and very reasonably priced. I could not finish eating it. But the crust!! I managed to stuff myself as this truly was the best crust I have ever had!! I look forward to next trip to New Jersey to try the next item on the menu....until then, if your in the area stoop by and let me know what you think?

Looks like a home made personal pie

Below average pizza and bigot vibes, I'm staying away. Taste homemade and service sucks.

Best pizza fries in our tri-guido area. However, tried the mozzarella sticks...not that good.

My favorite in the Nutley, Belville, Bloomfield, Clifton area! Ralphs is ok but Algieri's is the right mix for my ideal Jersey Pie.

Guy seemed overwhelmed and reluctantly took my order. I showed up 30 min later and no one had any record of my order. I recognized the guy's voice and told him he took my order. He was pissed and got into a shouting match with me with 3 other customers around. He eventually apologized and offered a free side of meatballs and spaghetti (don't order that btw, super underwhelming). 2nd time: Wife placed an order for a pie with half pepperoni on their website. Came back with the order and the pie had full toppings. Small nit but annoying. 3rd time: I called at 6pm on a Thursday. No one picked up. Opted to place order on their website and got the same item as last time. Showed up at and the same miserable guy asked for my name and order... and then said he didn't have any order. I told him I placed an order on the website... and he said "You should have called." with an awful (only a mother can love) grin. I showed him my email confirming 6:20pm pickup time and he said he had no order... before pulling a pie with my name on it. I asked if it had half pepperoni and it didn't. Full toppings AGAIN. Clearly, their website is not equipped to actually take half toppings orders. Pizza is OK but not worth the headache or poor service here.

I love a slice of pizza that has the crunchy bottom and the pepperoni is charred and cupped. Their white slice is good too. If you want that crunch but not too crunchy come here for a late night slice. They have pastas and sandwiches but never had it. Maybe one day. Pros: - Quick and friendly service - Crunch bottom pizza slices for those who love eating it this way - Opens late on the weekends until 2am - Want coffee?? Dunkin is next door but they close a lot earlier than here Cons: - Limited seating area - Small parking lot but late night there's always a spot Come check them out for a late night slice!

New Jersey is known for many things, but pizza is perhaps the largest source of debate. There is no…read moreshortage of pizza, as they have anywhere from 2,000 to 3,000 pizza restaurants using their family recipe to make some of the best pizzas in America. As the third-largest producer of tomatoes in the entire country, this key pizza-making ingredient not only sets New Jersey's classic 'tomato pies' apart from any ordinary pizza. This 10,000-square-foot, two-story establishment with a neon-lit sign on Glenwood Ave in Bloomfield asks, "Just another pizzeria?" They also house a 20-seat speakeasy that's open Thursday through Saturday called the Rab.bit Hole that can be found upstairs behind a hidden entrance. Opened in 2020, Blue Steel Pizza Company is the answer and should become obvious after looking at the menu. A reservation was easily made via Resy. My partner and I were greeted at the host station and got a regular table in the 1st-floor dining room by the pizza oven in the middle. The vibe was modern and industrial. Patrons had to use their phone flashlights to read the menu as the lighting was pretty dim. They are known for their Detroit-style pizza--a pie baked in a rectangular, traditionally blue-steel pan, the kind once used by autoworkers. It's made with a blend of mozzarella cheese and traditional Wisconsin brick cheese that melts down the side of the pie, making for a burnt, gooey, cheesy crust. It's cold-fermented for three days and is closer to sourdough. It has real flavor and an airier texture. It's like a lighter version of a Sicilian with a buttery crust. As a starter, we decided on the Chopped Salad. For our main entrée, we opted for the Jersey Tomato Pizza Pie. Portions run big enough for sharing, and we downed them with the 1911 Cider. The pizza crust was light, airy, and crispy with the right amount of fresh ingredients, making the ensemble tastefully delicious. The staff was attentive, friendly, and accommodating, and our server was Adam. The price was comparable to the area. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend this place.

We couldn't find parking in Montclair so we just decided to keep our eyes peeled on the way home…read morefrom an event. And, voila! We spotted Blue Steel which had good, modern curb appeal to our hungry tummies. It looks like downtown Bloomfield is having a moment with some new condos and nicer restaurants coming in. Thanks, gentrification!? Inside has a clubby, bar vibe and we were seated at a hightop near the bar. I love a good wedge salad. I prefer the classic but I appreciate BSP's variation that has tomato, cucumbers, crispy frizzled onions, feta cheese, homemade ranch dressing, and everything sprinkle seasoning. It was generously sized and refreshing. And there's nothing but good things to say about the Detroit-style ezzo pepperoni pie, except that i wish I had a bigger stomach to eat MORE. After the salad (shared), I was only able to manage one slice, but it was a happy slice. My first time trying Detroit-style and it didn't disappoint. PS: There's a tiny, very lumpy and bumpy parking lot in the back that is very tricky to maneuver back out of. If it hadn't been for an Uber driver who got briefly trapped back in there with me, I might still be there today
