I ordered delivery and by the time my pizza arrived, the cheese had fallen off both slices! Perhaps pizza Lino needs a new delivery driver. The food (including mozzarella sticks I ordered) was decent but nothing special. Avoid delivery from this place unless you're cool with reassembling your pizza.

Typical pizza spot located on Ridge Road in Lyndhurst. Two or three tables inside and its mostly a take out place. They have 8 dollar large pie specials on Sundays and off street parking. The plain pizza tasted like the typical tomato and cheese pizza nothing special. Its a good spot to grab a pie on the weekend if you don't want to cook.

Guy seemed overwhelmed and reluctantly took my order. I showed up 30 min later and no one had any record of my order. I recognized the guy's voice and told him he took my order. He was pissed and got into a shouting match with me with 3 other customers around. He eventually apologized and offered a free side of meatballs and spaghetti (don't order that btw, super underwhelming). 2nd time: Wife placed an order for a pie with half pepperoni on their website. Came back with the order and the pie had full toppings. Small nit but annoying. 3rd time: I called at 6pm on a Thursday. No one picked up. Opted to place order on their website and got the same item as last time. Showed up at and the same miserable guy asked for my name and order... and then said he didn't have any order. I told him I placed an order on the website... and he said "You should have called." with an awful (only a mother can love) grin. I showed him my email confirming 6:20pm pickup time and he said he had no order... before pulling a pie with my name on it. I asked if it had half pepperoni and it didn't. Full toppings AGAIN. Clearly, their website is not equipped to actually take half toppings orders. Pizza is OK but not worth the headache or poor service here.

I love a slice of pizza that has the crunchy bottom and the pepperoni is charred and cupped. Their white slice is good too. If you want that crunch but not too crunchy come here for a late night slice. They have pastas and sandwiches but never had it. Maybe one day. Pros: - Quick and friendly service - Crunch bottom pizza slices for those who love eating it this way - Opens late on the weekends until 2am - Want coffee?? Dunkin is next door but they close a lot earlier than here Cons: - Limited seating area - Small parking lot but late night there's always a spot Come check them out for a late night slice!

For food, we decided to order a bunch of things to share: -Zucchini fritte (with lemon aioli dipping sauce) - this was thin and perfectly crispy but somehow not oily. It was addicting -Arancini - these were okay. Could have used more meat -Margherita pizza - can't go wrong with a margherita. I do wish the actual crust was thinner -Meatball & Co pizza (meatballs, sweet sausage, cherry peppers, tomato sauce, mozzarella & ricotta cheese) - same with the crust situation. The description also said cherry peppers but they also added jalapenos, which is not a big deal - just a call out. The sausage was alright -Seafood fra Diavolo (sauteed clams, calarami, mussels, spicy tomato sauce) - sauce could have used a bit more spice. They don't skimp on the seafood though. I was pleasantly surprised by the calamari, which can taste rubberband-y but that wasn't the case here -Tiramisu - tasted fridgey/supermarket-bought -Affogato - a nice way to end the meal. Made me wonder why I don't make more affogatos at home Overall, it the meal was fine. Is it something I'd crave for? I don't think so. Well, maybe except that zucchini fritte. I wouldn't mind ordering that again. Tip - BYOB (there's a liquor store across the street)

My date got the chicken Romano, which was served with a spicy rigatoni vodka and burrata. Her dish was so good and a very generous portion. I also loved that it was a BYO - seems like there are less and less of these type of restaurants these days. I will definitely go back to try some of the other appetizers and entrees. Nothing quite compares to biting into a freshly made pie made with high-quality, imported ingredients--especially when enjoyed in the right atmosphere. The owner of Song E Napule, Ciro Iovine, clearly takes immense pride in his heritage, and it shows in every detail. From the vibrant decor honoring Diego Armando Maradona--a true legend and god-like figure to the people of Naples, still revered throughout the city--to the selection of ingredients imported straight from Italy, the commitment to authenticity is unmistakable. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the service. The staff doesn't just serve you--they welcome you like extended family. They greet you with genuine warmth, polished professionalism, and that unmistakable Italian hospitality that makes you feel at home. We laugh, we chat, sometimes hug, and we leave with full stomachs and even fuller hearts. Our sincerest thanks go to the owner for bringing such a genuine slice of Napoli to the New York area. Where else can you find multiple shoe repair shops ("cobbler" - there's a Scrabble bingo word for y'all!) rubbing elbows with state-of-the-art apartment complexes, and a smattering of 'hip' and 'hot' new restaurants that keep getting rave write-ups and making all sorts of "Best of..." lists. If you're a working stiff that doesn't want to break the bank to feed your family - you can't help but appreciate that there's a place like Da Mario's that's not chasing 'likes' but remaining humble and knocking out damn good food that's affordable and tasty. The pizza is solid. Good taste, a satisfying crust, it's not going to lure any 'influencers' their way and that's fine. (Da Mario's doesn't look like a place that has any social media presence and I'd bet they still have a dedicated fax line!) The garlic knots looked 'basic' but they had a serious smack of flavor that took me by surprise, I can't lie. (And their mozzarella sticks were a hit with my kids.) And - per the usual - I must order cavatelli and broccoli when I see it - and they absolutely nail it. Not the most comfortable chairs to sit in? A table you're expecting to be a bit wobbly? Generic maps and drawings of Italy on the walls? The place is bare bones... nothing fancy, exactly what you're expecting from an old-school pizza joint. Crew behind the counter - awesome. Metered street parking (but this block is incredibly busy, so you'd be keen to drop a quick prayer to St. Frances of Rome - the patron saint of car drivers - to help you find a spot). A family of four stuffing their mugs for about $8 a person? In today's economy? Cosa non è da amare.

Margarita Slice (8.6/10) - Sauce was plentiful and savory, with a touch of sweetness that really brought out all the ingredients. Nonna Slice (8.3/10) - The nonna slice provided a unique twist on the typical margarita flavor town. With a chunky marinara sauce,, and squareness, every bite if done correctly gets the perfect of all its flavors (town). The flavor of the sauce was not quite as tasteful as the OG margarita, but still served for a fun slice of goodness. Rice Ball (7.7/10) - Although the rice ball was 70% rice, the flavor of it with the meat and peas came together to make a yummy mush. Along with the crispy surface and side of (sweet) warm marinara sauce, the rice ball is a nice dish to have in the coziness of your home. Drunk Sicilian Slice (8.2/10) - Exactly what you would expect from a slice of pizza made with vodka sauce. In its unique square shape, the cheese is melted nicely across the creamy sauce and the rich crunchy crust. The cheese was the star of the slice with so much all over, it's everywhere. Penne Vodka Slice (8/10) - Tastes like what it looks like, a lot of pasta with less room for the sauce to shine. The slice was gimmicky but was a fun attempt at combining two fan favorite dishes. There was some cheese present on the slice but was met with a mouthful of barely toasted pasta. The pasta itself brought a rather mild taste that could've been replaced with a more flavorful option. Pasta fazzoletti soup was a little bland but tasted fresh. Eggplant parm was a nice-size lunch portion with the same delicious sauce we had last time. The pasta was too soft. The Caesar salad with shrimp was a total FAIL. The dressing did not taste homemade. The shrimp were AWFUL! They were so dry and overcooked that they were crusty. But rubbery at the same time.
