Service was good, waitress was really nice and attentive. The food is mediocre and everything is cooked in beef tallow , which is stated on the menu I just wish I could've read it more clearly because I hate the taste of beef tallow. Ambience is like a typical "sports bar" games on most of the TVS.

Came here for a family Christmas get together for the first time. We had a party of 11, however the only space available was downstairs where trivia night was taking place. Our family that ranged in age from 2-72 decided to play. We ordered a bunch of appetizers including wings, chicken strips and fries and garlic Parmesan wings. All were great and well cooked and plenty to share. The biggest surprise was the pizza! The pies were HUGE and so thin and crispy! No soggy drooping pizza here. Great service and trivia night was a blast. We may make this a yearly event. Our team came in 2nd place!

The service was good, the scene was cool, the food was absolutely false advertising. Pictures speak for themselves.... we came out of our way to try the food that they advertised, absolutely not what we got.

We recently visited a new pizza and bar spot that has taken over the space where the popular college bar, Green House, once stood. They now serve pizza, wings, and a variety of classic bar fare. The pizza had already caught my attention after getting a strong review from Dave Portnoy, and I can now confirm it's very good. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside but still had a soft, flavorful doughiness inside. Our bartender, Sammy, was fantastic. Very personable, attentive, and full of great recommendations and stories, which made the experience even better. We also tried the Caesar salad. While it wasn't the best I've ever had (mostly due to too many croutons), it was impressively cold which is a big deal, since many places tend to serve it warm or at room temperature, which we're not fans of. The dressing was also spot-on. The chicken wings were solid as well They were flavorful and cooked nicely. Think bowling alley chicken fingers. Nice and crisp. Now, the real star of the night: the honey churros. Absolutely life changing. We would honestly come back just for them. We also took home a veggie burger and an order of cannolis (came with 4) for a family member, and he said both were excellent. Oh and the drinks were really good also. Had an apperol spritz a Paloma and a espresso martini. All of which Sammy made perfect. Overall, this place is a great addition to the area. We'll definitely be back!

Are second time n the food is excellent wonderful 100/10. I am thinking of coming here with my friends n making a girls night

    Super size me slice

Best pizza I've ever had. Something is in the sauce that is fantastic. The ale house burger and pub fries were also great. Lots of big screens to watch sports, downstairs had a band playing and upstairs they had karaoke.

Guy seemed overwhelmed and reluctantly took my order. I showed up 30 min later and no one had any record of my order. I recognized the guy's voice and told him he took my order. He was pissed and got into a shouting match with me with 3 other customers around. He eventually apologized and offered a free side of meatballs and spaghetti (don't order that btw, super underwhelming). 2nd time: Wife placed an order for a pie with half pepperoni on their website. Came back with the order and the pie had full toppings. Small nit but annoying. 3rd time: I called at 6pm on a Thursday. No one picked up. Opted to place order on their website and got the same item as last time. Showed up at and the same miserable guy asked for my name and order... and then said he didn't have any order. I told him I placed an order on the website... and he said "You should have called." with an awful (only a mother can love) grin. I showed him my email confirming 6:20pm pickup time and he said he had no order... before pulling a pie with my name on it. I asked if it had half pepperoni and it didn't. Full toppings AGAIN. Clearly, their website is not equipped to actually take half toppings orders. Pizza is OK but not worth the headache or poor service here.

So for the last few months I've been conducting my own personal search for the best buffalo chicken…read morepizza in Wayne and I think I found it ::insert fanfare!:: Ok so what's so good about it?? Unlike other spots in town Pizza One uses buffalo sauce as the base on the pizza, which is the only way go! Topped with mozz and buffalo chicken it's simple and so so good! Other places in town use a red sauce as their base which does not make sense to me. Another spot in town uses buff sauce but drowns their dough in it and that is just too much sauce, man. Pizza One has figured out the right sauce/cheese/chicken ratio. Their regular cheese pie is a winner too. They do a really nice thin but not too thin crust here which works for a plain pie but also is a nice base for loading up with the toppings too. I also have to talk about their garlic knots. Also the best that I've found in town (so far anyway..). They are big, fluffy and loaded with garlic. They are served w/ marinara but if you've got an extra buck I'd suggest you spring for the vodka sauce - it's sooooo good w/ the knots. No complaints re: service or wait times for pies. Pizza One is just a super solid spot in town to get food. Bonus -- if you order online they've always got some sort of deal going on - ie: a large cheese pie and 12 wings for $26 or 3 large pies for $42. We often order the pizza/wing combo (when I'm not insisting on ordering the aforementioned buffalo chicken pizza..) and when you compare to other spots you're saving at least $5 which is not nothin'.

Smash'N Pizza a great little upbeat neighborhood pizzeria on Union Blvd. In Totowa feels fun from the second you walk in. It's the kind of spot that's just as good for a casual slice as it is for a laid‑back burger with friends. The room is limited in size but buzzing, with bright red and black splashed across the walls, a few chairs and tables, and décor carefully planned so the whole space feels energetic and modern. Logos and graphics are scattered throughout, giving the restaurant a playful, branded vibe that makes it look and feel like a cool little Italian hangout rather than a typical slice joint. Pizza, which we shared as an appetizer is the star, with pies that come out hot, crisp, and flavorful, piled with fresh toppings if that's your choice, and a sauce that tastes like it was made that morning. As for me, I always prefer a plain cheese pie. Right alongside the pizza, the burgers were surprisingly fantastic too, juicy and well‑seasoned, and the menu branches out into plenty of other tempting choices to accomodate everyone's taste. I tried the double cheeseburger, along with fries and onion rings, and would certainly recommend giving it a try. Service and hospitality were on point, quick and friendly. And being greeted like a regular, even on my first visit, and checking in often without hovering was appreciated. The overall atmosphere made the place feel welcoming and relaxed, turning a quick lunch into the kind of experience people look forward to repeating. BTW: Smash'N Pizza is a BYOB and has off street free parking. Thank you to Roberto (Robert) and staff for a nice afternoon. We will certainly be back. 12/13/2025
