Terrible "italian" food. Chicken Sorrentino was dry, barely a slice of eggplant overall no taste. Fettuccine w chicken and Broccoli lacked sauce & taste and the "broccoli" was like crumbs from the bottom of a bag. Horrible service for takeout. We just ordered last night and our meal arrived over 45 min late and the Francese sauce was poured out of the bag and the chicken was cold. I refuse to order their red sauce items because they have made me and my family sick in the past. And if you order cheesy garlic bread... your lucky if you get the cheese. I was in the area on business and saw Pizza sign. I drove up and saw a customer with food in hand. I asked how was it?!! He said great and that he has been regular customer for 12 years. Went and waited for a fresh pie and it came out cold- no way the pie was freshly made. Ordered from the Lincoln Park location at a friends house and was very excited to know that they have a GF pizza option and it was one of the best GF pizzas I've ever had! Usually I find gluten free pizzas are super salty but the crust and veggie toppings I added were done to perfection. While it is a bit pricey it was worth it for the occasional treat! read more

I've never been into fancy type pizzas but this place made me change my mind! Their bbq chicken, baked ziti and Pene alla vodka pizzas are to die for!!! I absolutely love their margherita pizza too. Went there on a Sunday evening with my son for dinner. It was VERY cold in the dining room. There was one other couple there and they had on their coats and looked like they were freezing. For a pizza place they sure know how to serve crispy wings! Their BBQ sauce is more of a vinegar based sauce and that's how I like BBQ sauce. Mozzarella sticks are worth ordering. The two stars are given for the food. It was the experience that knocked down their review. Ordered food at 6:42 PM and was told to pick up between 7:12-7:22. Arrived at 7:22 PM and was told 10 minutes. Yes the place was busy, which I expected on a Friday night but I watched multiple people come in after me and get their pizza. I didn't say anything, I sat patiently and waited. It wasn't until some guy had the same order as me and arrived at least 10 mins after me got his order first. So I went up at 7:50 when that guys order was ready and the guy at the counter said yours will be out in 1 min. Also during this time I saw a delivery guy come into the restaurant, pick up pies, chat, refill soda and then return for back second order. Food was ultimately not ready until 7:59 PM. When I walked in at 7:22 PM, a real expectation should have been given. My order was forgotten, I know this because the guy in charge went and circled my ticket order in a line still to process. When I finally got my food, an apology should have been given, as I heard him say to other customers who waited. Instead, a blank stare was all that reciprocated my annoyance when I asked him to confirm the screen shot of my order that said to arrive by 7:22. Forty extra minutes is not acceptable. There were numerous employees in the front of the store yet many orders fell behind. I planned ahead for this meal, I put my order in and then went grocery shopping, but still ended up wasting time. Next time I will consider my time as being valuable and go to restaurant whose customer service hasn't disappointed me. read more

The consistently get the order wrong and do by me right and I have raved about them to al my friends until I ordered tonight and my pizza is half burnt and half ok. I called to politely tell them it is not right and this time the owner gets on the phone and tells me that he would prefer I do business elsewhere because he has to do by me right every time and that my orders are too custom for him.Listen my friend, if you can't hire staff that can make good food - you will be out of business.
