Soggy crust, runny cheese, terrible pizza. The crust was wet and did not hold the cheese at all. All the cheese was in the box at the pull. The crust tasted like rubber. Never ever ever again. A waste of $45, for two pies.. read more

Food is good. I'm never disappointed. The atmosphere is Pizza place with a lot of seating. The only problem I have is the service. They are very friendly, but the service is lacking. Slow and unprofessional. The wait seems longer than it should be and the servers need to learn the proper etiquette. They do have good prices. read more

I ate so many pizza everywhere but order the whole pie, unbelievable yummy[perfect flavor] the cheese, the sauce, the pizza dough so yummy [ thinking there's Basel leaves there OMG!!!! read more

Could write the same exact review from last night's experience. Had friends over, we ordered pickup. My husband gets home and the pizza slices are missing! Called and were told "oh you never ordered them". Our guests confirmed we did say the pizza when ordering. My meatball parm hero was very good. read more

Great Food !!! Service is ok . Delicious Mussels and Meatballs . Best sauce in the area !

I am working in the area, so I have to find a great place to eat right? Well I stubbles onto Franks PizZa Not sure if it is part of the chain but any way. In my opinion it is pretty damn hard to make garbage pizza that you would never eat again I mean even at a pizza party or an event you will grab a slice of Pizza Hut or dominos without regret hahahah Any way I didn't come for the pizza I am on a diet!! The service is great and friendly And yesterday I had a grilled chicken in a tossed salad. It was fabulous With a bean and escarole soup Today Cold antipasto!! It has it all fresh Mozzarella roasted peppers olives Very very good The picture is only half the salad I couldn't wait had to start eating Hahahahahha read more

This place has to be under New ownership. The orders are always wrong and the young man at the counter always tells you you're wrong and he's not nice about it. They charge you the wrong prices, higher prices, and when you correct them and they fix it, they act like they're doing you a favor, that same rude young man at the counter. Recently they had to fix mine and it was still wrong. I asked if Mr. Gencarelli was there, the owner, and they said no and that he only comes in the afternoon. I don't believe that he owns it anymore and if he does, he is not managing the restaurant any more or not well. With all the good places to eat, I will not be spending any more money here. My advice, stay away from this place at all costs. read more

Staff is friendly, attentive, overall food very good and vodka sauce is great. Recently had a Focaccia Panino and wow, first off the focaccia was great, those roasted red peppers were some of the best I've ever had, and the chicken was perfect, amazing creation all in all. Next time I might switch the eggplant for sausage or just double up on the chicken (might just be a personal preference) but I will deff be getting this again! Great value for money as well! read more

I have ordered from here many times.. just convenience I guess because they just are never that good. NOW I'm done. I ordered catering for Easter and the order was wrong but not only that, the food was gross. I was so embarrassed I catered from here. I should have stopped ordering here when their delivery guy decided to unscrew my lightbulb outside my front door at night and then when answering the door he was antagonizing my dogs... which I reported to the manager and said he would have it handled. Their service is always horrendous. No one ever knows what comes in an entree or sandwich and the orders are always wrong. The last time I got so sick almost immediately after eating their food. This time I got sick Yet again. I just don't understand how they are still open for business. I tried supporting this place because they are local but now no way. So many pizza places so I would just avoid this entirely. Never returning again. AVOID!!! read more

Love, love, love Franks!! Not only is their pizza awesome, but their dinners are amazing too! No matter what time of day it is, Franks is always busy, and for good reason. Their marinara, btw, you could drink it's that good! I would give this place more stars if I could! My favorite pizza spot hands down! read more

Great pizza! A regular pizza place for me but they have a lot more than pizza. Love their pasta and garlic bread, too! People at the counter always are friendly and know their regulars. A+. Great customer service will keep us coming back!! read more

Ok I have to tried and tried with Frank's. They are a local place but I can't, not when there better options for Italian in the general area. There are other Frank's in NJ, they are much better. IMO the pizza is not good. It tastes too doughy to me, like it wasn't cooked long enough. It's often greasy and the crust is not crispy. I've had a few sandwiches/meals there and they are ok. You are better off going with food if you order from there. I've order through the phone several times and several times my order has been wrong. Like they have forgotten meals and even ingredients. And then when you bring it back or let them know, they get aggravated. If I order something and pay for it then I should get it. I always check it before I leave there and they always give me a look, but I rather do that so I don't have to drive all the way back. read more

Great customer service! I ordered an eggplant parmasean sandwich for lunch at the recommendations o the cashier. Sandwich was piping hot and fresh. The sandwich was good but needed more marinara sauce and salt. Solid 7/10. read more

Good Italian dishes and really good pizza (great crust). Eggplant Rollatini pizza is exceptional. Franks is a strip mall pizzeria with a rear seating area with waitress service. Waitress service can be inattentive at times. No tips permitted on credit cards. Food quality is good, great pizza for take out, dishes are tasty. Give it a try (but BYOB so you can drink while you wait for your waitress to make it over to your table). read more

The pompton lakes location is my all time local favorite pizza place so I figured this would be equally as good. Their prices are high compared to others in the area ($9 for a small meatball parmigiana sandwich), and the white pie is not the same as their other location but still good. What killed me was their sauce on the regular pie...way too sweet. I would go here for the "specialty slices", but otherwise not my favorite in this neighborhood. read more

Unfortunately will not be going back due to downright absurd, racist behavior and service from this establishment. And creating an uncomfortable environment. The food is decent, but don't be fooled. They may have some Hispanic workers in the back and are kind to people who happen to be the same skin color as their own, but no matter what for me, my friends and my family, it never fails. It is always a problem with one or more of the Male or Female italian workers working the cashier. I do not know what it is. We are all as polite as can be, we greet everyone with a smile, we say our, "Please and thank yous," I look good, I smell good, what's the problem? do you not want my money? But after the last specific incident where 2 male workers were loudly shit talking me FOR NO APPARENT REASON as soon as I walked in as if i couldn't readily hear what they were saying? What is the problem? My money works the exact same, is this not 2024 and not 1960? Ridiculous service and unfair treatment to anyone who isn't white. Would love to speak to the owner about the multiple disrespectful encounters I, and my friends/family have received if i could but i couldn't! Will happily drive to any other pizzeria within a 25 mile square radius then go to this establishment ever again. read more

The food is great, pizza amazing, but they need better people on their phones, they always screw up orders, or forget items. other wise I'd have given 5 stars. read more

Noticed Frank's has no specials or offers on weekdays. Hiked prices during pandemic with no attempt to 'work together' with town-folk. Prices are more expensive than surrounding restaurants. Value- no stars. Food - one star. Fact they deliver- two stars. But you'll wait an hour or more. Note- when a local Italian restaurant averages only 3 stars- go somewhere else. This food is salty, over seasoned with garlic and quality declined. Did they think we wouldnt notice? read more

I recently discovered the Seafood Combination Salad ($14.95). Woah! This is a thing of beauty...you'll wait 15 minutes for it, but that's because they're cooking the Calamari and Shrimp, to order...which means fresh, warm, tender, sweet, delicious. I absolutely love this salad. I asked for extra lemon wedges, and they gladly gave me plenty. I love the citrus kick it gives to the salad. Folks at Franks, you got a real winner here! Now, the Personal Spinach Pie (with white sauce)...absolutely wonderful. I've always voted for Frank's White Spinach, as my favorite in NJ. I like to kick it up, just a little bit, with freshly-grated parm, and a shake or 2 of garlic powder. For $9.95, this personal pie is worth driving to Lincoln Park...any day of the week. read more

The service has gotten worse and the owner Oscar is a joke... he sits back and watches customers walk out after complaining about service. We actually had a waitress walk out and leave and we sat there waiting for our order, he didn't even know the waitress walked out, he did not apologize or even offer any type of discount on our bill....this guy/place is a joke read more

Frank's is awful. Always get your order wrong never apologize or try to make it right it's also way over priced for a pizzeria because it's a one star restaurant. I'll never spend another penny there. I've had too many bad meals and wasted too much money over the last three years there. read more

Place is ok. Nice seating. Food is good but inflation for a slice of pizza...3.20...i don't know, man.

The best chicken parm sandwich on the best Italian bread. Perfect chicken to sauce and cheese ratio. That's all

The pastas and dinners are the star of the show here. Come hungry or eat the rest the next day. This place isn't gourmet and nor is it priced that way. But go in with the right expectations and you'll be very happy -- in fact, I blame unrealistic expectations for the shockingly low Yelp rating. read more

The word JOKE is what is used to describe this place. Its a Franks Pizzeria for god sake and you have the nerve to charge real restaraunt prices. A normal franks pizza raised their prices to about $15.95 for chicken and 16.95 for veal. This jokester went to $21.95. for a pizzeria. $3.50 for slice were you could get a normal one that's salty and greesy like this one for $1.95. He's using cheap cheese, not grande like everyone else. The wait staff is a joke, queen of the dinning room thinking she dont stink, interrupts customers while your waitress is talking to you. The owner is doing nothing but sitting around pretending he's got relatives. Customers think they are from short hills, (laughing) they wish they were. Waste of time, money, typical pizzeria food at rip off prices! read more

Decent, above average Italian-American food. Sometimes they screw up orders on the phone and aren't real accommodating when you get home and call them with the mistake. Also, they have a 20% discount that applies if you order online. I can never get it to work and when I call to tell them that they won't give me the 20% discount. Pretty cheap . Best off eating inside the restaurant. Now that Commissar Murphy is allowing some in restaurant dining, give it a try. read more

I usually love my bruschetta pizza I order from there all the time and this time the bruschetta had no flavor. Just tomatoes onions and oil on pizza bread, so much more to bruschetta then that, gotta add the garlic and vinegarand parmesan cheese. Very disappointing bc I get this every time in work in the area. I'm actually quite upset at this. read more

I've loved this place since I was a child. Their food is delicious... when it doesn't get me sick. I've always had stomach issues, but I always got sick after having Frank's. Lately, they seem to care more about takeout. I took my mom to dinner here since she asked, but it took OVER TWO HOURS to even get us our food. This was very terrible of them and they didn't even offer up an apology or take money off our bill for the horrendous wait. read more

When we went to this place, we got pizza for pickup, and it looked really good. But, when we got the pizza and arrived home to eat, the pizza was TERRIBLE. It was so soggy and all the cheese was just falling off. This was very strange because most of the time, this place is really good. I don't know what happened, but this is unacceptable. read more

Best authentic pizza shop around town...everything is super fresh from salad to the fish. Love it and I bring the fsmiky there once a week!

Never disappoints. Been going here for 20 years and I love their pizza. I found a gift certificate in a drawer that was about 15 years old lol. Tried my luck and they laughed and said, yep! That's ours! And honored it. Love this place for the best Jersey slice. read more

I have been coming to Frank's many many times over the past few years. Basically, it's going downhill. The food in the restaurant is generally ok for a strip mall byob place. Take out, however, is always an experience. Last wait, supposedly 10-15 minutes was almost an hour ... and ... there were items missing from the order (salad and a soup). The last several take-out orders took a lot of unnecessary time. It even appeared that walk-in orders were served first. I'm not putting up with the poor service any more. I'll miss the pasta fagioli soup, but it's not worth the hassle. read more

Sadly, I will no longer be frequenting Frank's. Their food is usually really good, both pizza and meals. However, I've had enough with them making errors with my order and never acknowledging it or apologizing for it. Most of the people who work there are really nice, but the man who appears to be the owner is so rude and patronizing, especially towards women. Time to move on. I'll miss the pasta fagioli soup though. read more

Frank's is our local go to restaurant. Good food, I especially like their chicken dinner dishes. Choice between soup or salad, and pasta or broccoli with their entrees. read more

Franks has been a staple at our family gatherings. Good (birthdays, celebrations) and bad (deaths), this food has warmed our stomachs. Great salads, hearty soups, good pizza, amazing chicken dishes, pastas and my personal favorite, their cheese tortellini alfredo. Really good food at very fair prices. Chicken soup is the best

Done with Frank's Lincoln Park- We used to order out at least once a week for at least 4 years. In the last year it's been closer to once a month due to their screw ups and rudeness but tonight was the last straw. I use online ordering so it's pretty clear cut what we order. However, it's often wrong and apparently always our fault. They are rude and unappreciative of their loyal customers. Tonight the pizza was wrong, they sent someone else's order home in addition and then we had to BRING THE WRONG PIZZA BACK AND WAIT 30 MIN FOR A NEW ONE. Which we were told was our mistake even though I showed them the online print out of the order. I could tolerate mistakes...but rudeness is absurd. They don't deserve our $60+ order a week. I'll miss the food and convenience, but I'm done. read more

I am a huge fan of pizza (my favorite food), and so I take it pretty seriously. My husband and I come here often for pizza (we get half buffalo chicken, half sausage usually), and I have to say that I enjoy it. The crust is crispy and just bready enough, the chunks of chicken on the buffalo chicken pizza (as well as the chicken parm) are huge, the cheese is everything you would expect cheese to be, and it definitely hits the spot when you're craving pizza. In addition, we've tried numerous other dishes though none as frequent as the pizza, so I can attest to the calamari and the linguini with clam sauce as well. The calamari is pretty standard and generously portioned, and the linguini was saucy and delicious. We also receive baskets of bread when dining for dinner and demolished those as well. Basically, this is one of our few go-to places for pizza up here in North Jersey, so I'd recommend giving it a try if you're in the area and do agree with the comments about service. The last time we went, the waitress was great, but they tend not to come by often so a wait in between requests is normal. read more

I tried a slice of the bruchetta pizza and a slice of the white spinach and borne slices were the best tasting I've had in a long time. The slice were large and very tasty.
