So I was making a delivery to pops and had to take a break. It had been a While since I have been to pops so I decided to take my break there and get a bite to eat. As always the food was great, the service was awesome, and the facilities were clean. I had another great experience at pops. I had a chicken sandwich with onion ring and a sweet tea. I really have no complaints about the food. The onion rings and sweet tea were perfect. Now I would like to give a shout out to my server Tessa she was great and never let me run out of tea. The food came out in a timely manner and everyone was very pleasant from my server all the way up to the manager on duty. This place is the soda haven! If it's bottled you probably will find it here. Known as a modern day Route 66 stop this place was constructed to be a roadside attraction and keep the spirit of the past alive in modern fashion. You can pick up sodas of any sort and do a mixed 6 pack of any flavors you would like. Have to check out the diner inside with yummy breakfast options. Weak kitchen manager, I asked to speak with him twice. Customers that came in after we ordered got their food before us. The waitress was very clear only four biscuits left so my son and I ordered them. Half our food was cold and half was warm. We were told our order was "push back" whatever that means it was only three adult meals and two kids meals. I am only able to speak on the convenience store section of this business as I am vegetarian and did not think I would find anything on the menu (there may be options, but I cannot attest to it). There is a slew of pop/sodas available. I even ran across one that was "butter" flavored. They fairly priced. Definitely changed everything since I last ate here. No homemade pickles, burgers were pink, yes the menu offers more than before but the quality has now suffered. Ranch dressing tasted different, not in a good way. Table were dirty, booths dirty and torn. I could here someone hacking in the kitchen. The burger was dry and over cooked. The food was overall underwhelming. But thats not why i gave only one star. My table was facing the kitchens window. As i sat waiting for my food i could see a cook preparing food with no gloves on. He touched everything with his bare hands. At one point he was holding a full hamburger in his hand. Even after i notified our server the guy still was still man handling the food with his bare hands. The employees all seemed to be very young. Do not have breakfast here! Initially the Service was satisfactory and then faded- but food was almost inedible. My wife had very soggy French toast and bacon that she couldn't chew. The hash brown patty was not what was expected. Better is available at McDonalds. I had the bigger breakfast. The three biscuits and gravy could not be cut with a fork - required a knife to cut through, and the gravy was cold - really. Two scrambled eggs were totally unattractive due to being fried in dirty grease. Sausage links were stuck together and were over well-done and their texture made them seem like they were days old. Honestly I didn't think the bacon was as bad as my wife did. I was starving so I ate it all anyway but I'll never return to this establishment for food. This is a really neat and historical place! It's also super yummy! Ever just crave a good burger and a unique, rich soda?! We do! So we drove out here to this Arcadia location to check this Pops out. When we walked in we were greeted by a group of young hosts and hostesses along with walls and walls of displayed glass soda bottles. Really cool! I loved that the service staff, for the most part, were young high school and college age people. We all have to start somewhere! However, they are a bit inexperienced in good customer service. Our server didn't make very much eye contact with me and it felt like her number one goal was to rush me and my son out of there as fast as possible--maybe because she thought she had to? Other staff members in the memorabilia section chose to finish their fun conversation before acknowledging me and the fact that I had a question about the merchandise. The food was wonderful and we were stuffed! My son had the cheeseburger and had no complaints! I had the "Norman Burger" for the first time because I was craving and bbq taste. I feel a little bad leaving this review as it might be a bit biased. I first visited Pops 66 on a road trip a few years back after hearing my friend in Arcadia rave about this place. I went to visit and it was a fantastic stop with great food and a large selection of signature sodas to choose from, our favorites being Leninade. I stopped in about two weeks ago when I was passing through Oklahoma again and was hoping to recreate that magic. Unfortunately, it was a totally different experience. I rolled in early afternoon and went to get a bite to eat first. The food was pretty quick and the service was good, but the food itself was kinda bland. Tasted like something heated up in a microwave, though I'm pretty sure it was fresh cooked in the kitchen in the back. I got the Pop's Burger and fries and a coffee. Afterwards, I went to look through the soda section but it seems to be they downsized a lot of their soda or something. There was a bunch of sodas I saw on the walls that they didn't have anymore, some of them being just foreign sodas or special brands. They seemed to be carrying mostly rocket fizz and vergil's and some craft sodas, but it felt like there was only 5 flavors to choose from if I didn't want something gross. Their "sodagusting" section was full of stuff, but it was the mostly the same and oddly some of them were just a few like one to three bottles. I didn't see pricing anywhere, so this was probably my fault, but if I had known each of these sodas were gonna be $4 each, I wouldn't have grabbed two grab-n-mix packs. I couldn't really ask for assistance because it was unfortunate timing too as the boss/owner/manager (?) was having a big meeting with all the employees. I was also sad to see that almost all the soda in the fridge was sticky like as if some of them had popped or spilled back there. I can understand it's probably a lot of bottles to clean if there was an accident in the shipping or something, but it was like every single bottle I touched was sticky, especially those on the bottom row. They didn't have Leninade anymore or Irn Bru, so I just chose some root beers. The selection reminds me of most soda shops you can find in cities sadly. But they do have a really cool look, atmosphere, and giant soda bottle light outside the shop. If you need gas and/or it's not too far out of the way, it's a nice tourist spot to stop by. read more

I have been there twice and every time the food has been excellent and pricing is very reasonable!!! The workers are Very friendly and helpful. The variety of Pop is insane. Pretty decent if you're wanting a burger fries and shake sort of meal. They have a million drink choices to choose from seriously it will take you a few min to decide! They all come served in the old fashioned glass bottle like the old days. Their burgers are made to order definitely not like McDonald's drive thru. Fries are crinkle cut if i remember correctly which i like but.. my favorite side dish here is the okra! My mom doesn't even like okra and had half with me. Sad because I used to love this place. We waited at our table for about 20 minutes before a waiter came. We waited another 30 minutes after we ordered to get our food and drinks. Our food came before our drinks came. We asked for our drinks 3 times. The avocado on my burger was spoiled but nobody ever came to check on us to see how our food was. My cousin Leesa and I have eaten here several times for lunch now and enjoyed it. We decided to try breakfast today. We both ordered the Belgian waffles with chocolate chips. It is a gas station that houses your choices of 700 sodas. There are local brands like Catoosa Cream Soda which is my favorite cream soda, it's sweet and smooth. They have traditional soda, as well as some off the wall choices. Today, I noticed they had Ranch flavored soda. Sorry, I'm not that adventurous. Now if they had a honey mustard soda.... The food is great too. In my not so humble opinion, Pops has some of the best burgers in the state. They are juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I love their fries. They are crispy and delicious. There are other great items on the menu too and breakfast is served until 10:30. There is lots of seating, both inside and out. The servers are very friendly and there are lots of great retro and newer candies all over the store. As a long time fan of Pops, it pains me to say that I probably won't venture back anytime in the near future. Not sure what has happened to the place or the food but it was just mediocre at best. Visited Saturday, April 20th, around 1:30pm and only had a 10-15 minute wait which was unusual. Ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and it wasn't anything like I've had in the past from there. Patties were dry and it was barely even warm. The bun is like just an ordinary cold hamburger bun you pull out of a wonder bread hamburger bag. Bacon was hard to chew - not crispy - hard like beef jerky. Ordered fries and the waitress even repeated that and she brought out onion rings, which I just took. Wasn't worth waiting to send them back - we had already waited 20 minutes for the food. One of the onion rings wasn't even cooked all the way through - when I took a bite it was soggy in the middle where the batter hadn't cooked all the way. While some of the other rings were over-cooked and almost burnt. Then, per usual after we finished we went to look for sodas to purchase and take with us. The kids always enjoyed getting some of the Jolly Rancher flavored sodas. None to be found. What stock they had was disappointing. Honestly - I think a burger from Sonic would have been better and I wouldn't have driven from S. OKC to get it. If you really want a good burger and you're in the El Reno area, hit up Sids. If you're just wanting the nostalgia of Route 66, then stop at Pops, because that's all it really has going for it now. We visited there for a short period of time, and they insisted we make a quick stop at Pops because soda is my THANG. Truly, I loved the spectacle and the atmosphere of it all. The architecture of the building is interesting to view - it's a triangular structure, and the walls are adorned and shelved with a wide variety of colorful, unique beverages. The available flavors for cream soda are expansive, so I picked a random cream soda and it did not disappoint. One critique that I have was that there wasn't enough floor space to navigate from one soda option to the next. Let me start off by firstly saying that I don't even drink soda. I've heard of this place and thought the huge bottle out front looked cool, but honestly, I'm more of a water and juice gal. I did buy a 6-pack of cherry limeade sodas for the experience, but sorry guys...I still don't like soda. No regrets though. I totally understand why my cousin suggested it. Pops is a gas station and also a restaurant, so maybe a burger would be nice. In fact, my grandad says the burgers are good...so take it from gramps and give it a try! This place is really cool! We were visiting OKC and stopped by here before we headed out of town. We came with friends that we were traveling with. I was first intrigued by this place when someone told us about it and how much soda they have. Their website states over 700 sodas, but our waitress mentioned that the inventory is constantly cycling through, so I'm assuming it isn't 700 different brands at all times. Nonetheless, they still have a TON of soda. I'm actually not a soda drinker, or rather I quit 6+ years ago, besides the occasional sip here or there - which is rare! Luckily with as many selections as Pops has I was able to find one that fit more of my requirements of having better ingredients. I tried one that tasted like Pepsi, it has nut cola in it. The second one was a root beer flavor and it was good. I liked both of them and would get them again. This location is also a restaurant, convenience store and a gas station. We ate at the restaurant, which is a typical burgers and fries place. I got the burger with jalapeños and cream cheese. It was good, but I was expecting it to be spicy and there was no spiciness. Food was good not a typical thin fast food burger. Hundreds of flavors and brands of soda. There is a large soda bottle out front that lights up with bands of bright neon lights. I didn't go there for the food so for all i know it could be a great place to eat. I went to find odd and interesting flavors of pop. I have gone to places like this before, but sadly this place is not very good on the soda side of things. The range of flavors is limited and oddly enough some of the ones they use to decorate the place appear more appealing than the ones they sell. The other complaint is the high price. Most of them are 2.49 a bottle (small single serve size) and a few are more. Sadly some of the brands are also sold in the Big Lots nearby for half the price. We live close and visit many times per year. We always recommend family from out of town to visit here. We have been visiting here regularly since it opened. We ate here on 4/22/22, about 11:30am, and our waitress did a good job. I had the special which was a bbq brisket sandwich, and everyone else got burgers. My sandwich came with "texas toothpicks" on it and they were cold and soggy, very gross. My daughter took her tomato off and said it didn't taste right. My wife said the same thing about hers. They may have been old? My wife didn't like her burger, said it was bad. I tried it and I agreed. The meat was very dry and hard, it was horrible. Nobody ate their burger, just the fries. I hope management sees this and takes action. We will not be eating here anymore and I would be embarrassed to recommend others to eat here as well. I hope they fix the food because it used to be really good. It's still a great place to go get drinks. We will continue to visit for the drinks, but will definitely pass on the food and eat somewhere else. read more

After reading about it online I was skeptical that a place could have that many sodas and provide a good experience. I highly recommend this as a stop on your next trips and just up the road is the Round Barn, another stop on the historic Route 66. This is a fun place to stop on the way to Oklahoma City. The World's Largest Pop Bottle is pretty cool, especially at night. We got there kind of late so we got a table right away. Our server was really friendly. You can peruse the coolers and pick out sodas and they just add it to the bill (anything else from the convenience store has to be paid for separately). I ordered the chicken fried steak and my husband ordered a cheeseburger. The food came out pretty quickly. It was good. My toast had almost no butter, but the protein and the smashed potatoes were good. I tried a Rawlins Root Beer (real adventurous, I know!) and my hubby had a butterscotch soda and a Bawls cherry soda. The cherry was really good but I didn't get to try the butterscotch. We picked out a few souvenirs and the girl behind the counter was just a sour puss! Just snarky. I don't think she made eye contact at all.
