You know, of course, that the word people use for sweetened carbonated beverages like Coca Cola varies from region to region in the US. On the West Coast and in the Northeastern part of the country, people call these beverages sodas. In most of the Northern states, from Washington to western halves of New York and Pennsylvania the same beverages would be referred to as Pop. In the South, at least from New Mexico through Georgia, the generic term for all varieties of these beverages is Coke. I was born and raised in California, but my family is from Texas. So growing up, I always heard, What kind of Coke do you want? So, when I walked into Pops I said, Damn, that's the most kinds of Coke I've ever seen! The selection here is impressive in depth and breadth. Multiple varieties of most flavors. Even if you move fast it takes a long time to see everything. And you can be 100% sure I was going to see every last bottle before I made my purchase. I was limiting myself to two Cokes and I had to get this right. OK, I knew right off at least one of my choices would be a Root Beer, so I could've went right to the Root Beer section and started choosing. But that's not how I roll. I had to start at one end of the cold case and go door to door, shelf by shelf so I could fully immerse myself in this magnificent Coke experience. It's sort of a Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Some of the craziest "pop" flavors you could imagine, and I'm giving you credit for an excellent imagination. But it's the wild kaleidoscope of color that draws you to the cold cases and holds your attention like one of those gigantic industrial electro magnets they use to pick up crushed cars. And after the full Cold Case Experience, there are aisles and aisles of shelves with more choices. And then, after all that, Pops has a terrific selection of candy. I was impressed that they had so many difficult to find candy bars, like 5th Avenue and Zagnut. I mean, when was the last time you saw a Look bar for sale? Or Clark Bars? Pops got 'em! And they have those old timey cube shaped Cinnamon suckers. And those weird square shaped Assorted Flavor Charms. Plus the best selection of Reed's Candies I've ever seen (first time ever seeing Peppermint). I was astonished to see that Pop's only has a 3 1/2 Star rating on Yelp, because this place is so 5 Star to me. I think the current rating is mostly due to shortcomings on the restaurant side of the business. So, yeah, if you like Cokes, Pop, Soda Pop, Sodas or any kind of Soft Drinks, I highly recommend you visit Pops on Route 66. Mikey C says: What kind of Cokes do y'all want?

Hadn't been here in a while so we drove out. Had the dog with us so it was a good spot for her to get out. It was pretty busy today being Labor Day and the big soda bottle out front was drawing all kinds of attn. I went in to grab a couple of sodas. The place was like a zoo. The aisles are tight and people are looking at things so it can be hard to maneuver. They did not have enough registers open. Made it through and got out of there. They do have a full kitchen and eating area which can get crazy too, but looked like most visitors today were doing the soda side

Tried the French fries--crispy, golden perfection. Honestly, they tasted like they were handcrafted by a fry whisperer. I've had their burger before, and it's a solid 7/10--good enough to dream about occasionally, but not enough to text back right away. The service? Top-tier. Ashton deserves an award, or at least a high-five. The lighting here is so good it made me question if I need to start a TikTok channel, and the sunset view? Chef's kiss. Perfect for romantic vibes or pretending your life is a movie montage. Oh, and soda lovers? Brace yourselves--you'll go absolutely nuts here. Like, soda-paradise-level nuts. This place is a vibe.

Pops is always a great place to bring visitors. Its iconic pop bottle outside is a Route 66 must visit location. I'll be visiting more sites on Route 66 so that will be fun! The food was good and I chose the Arcadia Burger and I would choose this again on my next visit! I loved the combination of the BBQ sauce, Bacon & Blue Cheese! My wife chose the Fish but she wasn't impressed so I'll leave it at that. My D-I-L choose the Mother Road Burger it not only looked good it tasted good as well! We had a great server, Lily and she was so pleasant and always asking if we needed anything more! This truly is an iconic stop on Route 66 when the many variety of sodas! Not only as decorations but to buy as well.

We were seated immediately, which gave us high hopes, especially since the place itself has a really cool vibe! Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn't live up to that first impression. We had to flag someone down just to take our order after sitting for quite a while. No one checked in or even acknowledged us for a good chunk of time, which was frustrating. When our waitress finally came over, she seemed rushed and pretty rude--not the kind of service you'd hope for. It took nearly two hours from start to finish, which felt excessive given how simple our order was. The food? Pretty mediocre. My chicken sandwich was wrong, and by the time I got it, I didn't even feel like sending it back because we were so hungry. On the plus side, the shakes were really good--easily the highlight of the meal. Overall, the atmosphere is great, but the service and food don't match it. We won't be returning.

Part gas station, part convenience store, part restaurant. These are just some parts of Pops. Located on Route 66, some reviewers may also label Pops as a "tourist trap." While this may be accurate, I prefer to label it as a tourist attraction. Whether it's a tourist trap or attraction should not matter because Pops is one of the best places to visit in Oklahoma. Pops is known for their soda pops. They have over 500 different varieties to choose from. Only at Pops are you able to buy soda pops that you have never heard of before with brands like Red Ribbons, Henry Weinhard's, Jones, Boots, Dublin, and many more. Not only does it have the varieties, the price is also reasonable. Is it the cheapest? Oh, heck no. Is it expensive? Not really. I paid $19.46 for 6 bottled soda pops. Staffs are very friendly at Pops. I haven't tried the restaurant side, but it was busy, mostly family dining. I love Pops. The place is very trendy. The 66 ft pop bottle outside lights up at night. Good place for family. Seriously, how can anyone not love Pops?

Such a fun little stop on our adventures through Oklahoma! We stopped here to grab a quick afternoon pick me up. The inside had just been re-done and was very clean and bright. We grabbed a milkshake and onion rings. Both tasted really great. The milkshake in particular was sooo good punctuated by a nice thick whipped bream topping that could have just been a treat of its own. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. My only wish would be that they could better utilize the outdoor space by adding some outdoor seating and maybe doing away with the gas pumps.

We traveled east for the ambiance of that great big soda bottle in the sky, and came back for the burgers - great selection and we were all thoroughly satisfied. Prices are definitely not small town, and be prepared to wait a good 20 minutes, but I can't complain about the friendly service. There's seating out back if you'd like to look at the gorgeous sky, and of course the selection of "pop" is unmatched. Worth the 15 minute drive from the city!

Love this place, the onion burger was solid, I'd just like the onions to be smashed into the patty a bit more. The service is a bit slow, but they are friendly and fun. My husband and I are not big dessert people, but everyone was ordering shakes so we decided to try them be while we waited for our take away. The cookies & cream shake is . Just get it. . .huge chunks of Oreo, not blended to oblivion. So good!

Cute nostalgic gas station with a Diner, Oklahoma souvenirs, and a grand selection of soda pop in glass bottles. Some of the pop flavors have hilarious names.. I think they would be great for gifts. You can also drink there, with places to sit outside the shop and enjoy your sweet drink. I didn't see any sugar free options, but I wasn't looking hard. If you like ginger beer, the Cock and Bull pop has a nice kick to it. Most of the selections are in the cooler ready to drink. The Diner has the typical hamburgers, hot dogs, onion rings etc... but we didn't eat here this time. At night the giant pop bottle lights up. My grandson thought it was a giant tooth waterpik lol I recommend a stop here!

My wife and I made the trip from Tulsa to OKC. Via. Route 66. We make this trip every couple of years. One of our stops along the way is POPs. This is such a Unique place. That can take care of most travelers needs. They have fuel for your transportation, good food, snacks and unbelievable amount of sodas. The sodas line the outside walls from the floor to the ceiling. I don't think there any other place on earth that has the variety as POPs. They also have some trinkets and T-shirts for souvenirs. There is also outdoor courtyard with table so you can enjoy dining outdoors while allowing your children to run and play. Look for the giant bottle out front. It's kind of neat during the day. But is really neat at night when they turn the lights on.

Pop is an interesting place selling pop soda or fritz drink. The entire building display the fritz drink at the glass wall. The colorful fritz drink display beautifully. It is one kind of scene. The pops building is a triangular shape. It is engineering with good architectural aesthetic shape. I got pure cane sugar honey cream soda. It is special. I enjoy bar seat and take a break from my long driving. Overall the pop facility is very nice. Clean restrooms.

Scrambled eggs with "seasoning" - beware. It was cold and tasted like dustbin seasoning. Won't be back
