We had a small issue with Google mapping when navigating to this place so be aware. It's a stand alone building with plenty of parking facing N. Division St. There is a good amount of seating inside the clean restaurant. They seem to do a good amount of take out orders too. Our burger and chili dog were alright. We had fried okra (asked for crispy) and fries (also were crispy...) & they were "ok". This is an interesting place that we may return to - especially to try the "Sunday Soulful Dinner". Unfortunately when we visited, there seemed to be just 1 person taking orders, bussing tables, deliverying/freshening drinks, AND cooking! So our orders did take longer than expected. read more

Fantastic hole in the wall find! I love they take your order and make it fresh fresh! The burgers were delicious and so was the sandwich we tried! My husband ordered 3 or 4 things to go hahaha. I was traveling through with my 14yr old daughter and my 2 16yr old nieces I will start with the positives: The Teens loved the fries, food was fresh and taste was ok. Loved the chalk board menu Negative: did not look like much from the outside, we almost did not go in. Once inside other then the chalk board menu, it needs some updating or something Going to the bathroom had to walk by supplies, and it was a one person bathroom so it was awkward having to stand in the hallway with the supplies. It's aight. Had the philly cheese steak that was average. The fries were good and plentiful. Price was acceptable and the staff was pleasant. I'm not a big fan of all the drinks being served in a bottle as it seems like I'm just paying an inflated price for something I could buy at the grocery store. Biggest complaint is that I was there at a pretty busy time and I have to say it was a bit awkward in the dining room. It was busy and yet dead quiet as there was no music or sound to cover the awkwardness of sitting so close to people you don't know. I'm all for getting to know people but this was a little weird. You couldn't help feeling like being in a fishbowl when you enter or leave. So yeah I'd probably return but I'm not going out of my way to do it. Y'all this place has good food. The Touchdown Fries themself are worth coming back for. I also really enjoyed the Fried Bologna Sandwich. If you have only eaten Oscar Meyer, give yourself a treat, becasue this is the real stuff. I had the touchdown fries. Fries, cheddar cheese (melted), BBQ with sauce, sour cream, and parsley. When the helping came to the table, I was wondering if it was going to fill me up. Yes, it did. It was very tasty. Why not a 5 star. It was not prepared the best way. Everything was put together except for the sour cream and heated up to melt the cheese. The fries were mushy. Melt the cheese on top of the BBQ on a separate plate. Then put together. We will be back. read more

Sunday catfish special was a great deal. Super crispy catfish and hush puppies, along with creamy coleslaw and delicious dirty rice. Kids and husband had burgers which were also really good. Only reason they don't get 5 stars is the fried okra that came out a little under cooked.
