Kind of gross. There are flies all over the food and even in it. But I guess they gave up long ago.

Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Restaurant is worth trying!! I recommend going at an off time because it was packed!! There's an option to do half a sandwich. The menu doesn't disclose that you can only do that on cold sandwiches. That's nice they do that but if you wait in line 25 mins with your menu item in mind but they won't do the halvsie thing it's frustrating. Especially since the sandwiches are mostly all over $14. So then you have to make a split second decision and order something else you sorta wanted but not really. I say that bc I originally wanted a hot sandwich but I can't eat a whole one. When they wouldn't let me do that with the half of a sandwich I decided to try to do that with the Bruce, which was the monthly special turns out I couldn't do that either. All in all it was a great experience and I liked my sandwich. My wife LOVED hers. We will definitely be back!! Wifey tip: order water to drink. They don't have soda on fountain so you pay $4 for bottled stuff you buy at On Cue. Not worth it.

Pops Soda Ranch located in Arcadia, Oklahoma, was one of the stops I wanted to make during our…read moreHistoric Route 66 road trip. We made it here the night before flying back home to So Cal. So happy we did. It is an iconic destination and must-see landmark featuring a full-service restaurant, gas station, convenience store, and tons of bottled sodas. The neatest part of this place is the 66-foot-tall pop bottle structured with giant wire frame right outside in front of the lot. At sunset, you can sit and watch the multicolor LED lights illuminate with pretty colors. What a colorful and fun view! Parking is free. We didn't get a chance to dine at the restaurant as it was near closing time. We didn't get gas since the car gas tank was full. We did, however, perused the store. WOW... we were overwhelmed with so many classic, unique, and creative soda flavors! Such a cool sight to see soda bottles on display alongside the glass windows of the building. Staff was okay. We picked up one apple pie flavor soda pop plus a good handful of magnets. I was so tempted to buy a t-shirt, but no design stood out for me to take one home. Highly recommend Pops! It should be one of your checkboxes to be checked on your adventures list in the Midwest. Have fun!

**My Honest Review as a Local -- High Hopes, Disappointing Reality**…read more As a local Arcadian, writing this review genuinely pains me. I had every intention of making Pops a go-to spot for visiting family over the years ahead. After this experience, I'm reconsidering that entirely. My family visited on a Saturday. The restaurant wasn't on a wait, though it was still busy -- we ordered standard fare and settled in. **The food:** Mediocre at best. Overpriced for what you get, and more tourist trap than local gem. Generously a 3 out of 5. **The service:** This is where the real problem lies. It took over an hour from the time we placed our order to receive our food. We weren't alone -- every table around us was experiencing the same delay. Kitchens get backed up; we understand that. Between the four of us, we have worked at six restaurants combined. We are not unsympathetic customers. What genuinely stunned us was the complete indifference -- from our server and from management. No acknowledgment, no apology, no discount, no dessert offer. Not even a complimentary soda. At *world-famous* Pops, that's a remarkably low bar to miss. Anyone who has worked in hospitality knows that a bad experience can almost always be salvaged with a simple, sincere gesture. The absence of any such gesture didn't read as an oversight. It read as policy. That's what concerns me most -- not that something went wrong, but that no one seemed to care that it did.

I've never been here before but we always passed by every time we go to Edmond. Today, we thought of giving this place a try. The place is huge and you can sit yourself anywhere. A waiter came to give us a menu and took our drink orders. At noon, the place had a lot of patrons but not crowded. From the time we ordered and gotten our order, it probably took 8 to 10 minutes. Th chicken was as very tasty with crunchy skin and hock I love! The baked beans I ordered as a side had a little kick to it because of the jalapeños but not enough to put a fire in my mouth. Love the flavor! My husband's chicken sandwich he ordered was huge! He chose a side of fries to go with that. He asked for cheese on it but the waiter said they don't have any cheese but condiments or lettuce and tomatoes if he wanted. Overall, we had a great experience, love the food so we will be back again. Pl try of parking and right across the famous round red barn in Arcadia on Route 66.
