As other reviews have mentioned, service was very friendly, informative, and surprisingly quick. Our server made several recommendations that we were so grateful for as our food was extremely tasty. We ordered the Perry burger and the chicken fried steak with jalapeño gravy - no worries, the gravy was not spicy at all, just extra flavorful as promised. The interior is decorated like a traditional diner and has a lot of old photos and fun items to look at. Our only disappointment is they were sold out of their legendary cinnamon rolls that day, no problem though - we will be back!

Which seemed odd as it was just noon when we ordered them so unless they are popular as a breakfast item it must have been that no one cared to make them. We both ordered the chicken fried steak dinner one with mashed potatoes and one with fries both with green beans. The food came out fast and was hot. The chicken fried steak had a good crust but the meat was tough. The milk gravy was very good. Then my second bite of the mashed potatoes had a hair in it that had to be at least 8 inches long. It was a dark hair so I am sure it wasn't mine. I called the waitress over and since there were tables with people at them close by I kept my voice down and showed her the hair. She offered to get me something else and although I wasn't sure I would be able to eat I ordered a plain burger patty without the bun it was greasy and had no flavor. I took two bites and was done. Before we left I visited the restroom. There's only one for everyone to use. I am disabled and have to use a walker. It was very disappointing that the only bathroom available is NOT handicap accessible! I understand that the building is very old and keeping the history and nostalgia is important...but so is the safety of all customers. I was not able to use my walker as it did not fit through the door and there were no hand rails at all. Concerns with the food can happen at times and are not deliberate. But choosing not to do something as easy as installing railing in the restroom is pathetic. Shame on the owners. You could at least let customers know when they arrive that no thought for anyone that needs a handicap accessible restroom has been given.

Airy, clean and friendly. There's a TV near the front that plays videos from the couple's YouTube channel. They feature videos of clean living, camping and beyond. If this isn't the incarnation of Mayberry in the 21st Century... So heartwarming and wholesome! I ambled up to the counter and ordered a mocha, hoping the chocolate would mask the undoubtedly bitter espresso... Who expects to get a perfect pull of crema on their espresso in a small town?? Not I--past experience has me expecting very little from rural baristas. When Little T walked around the counter to hand deliver my coffee I was delighted and impressed. What a cute couple! I love supporting small local businesses for interactions like this. But when I walked outside and took a sip I damn near dropped my coffee! As I say in many of my reviews, Why Love's all the time? They tend to have the cheapest gas unless a Costco is handy, the bathrooms are almost always clean, they have a vast store stuffed with salty and sweet snacks to please even the most hardened traveler

Sooners or later you're going to have to use this truck stop…read more This is an independent truck stop located right off the highway in the middle of nowhere in Oklahoma, and if you're heading towards Oklahoma City it is on the southbound side of the highway. It is usually really cheap for gas, as much of Oklahoma is, and they have a very nice homemade diner with lots of delicious food, so it's well worth a stop. The gas here is from Conoco and the truck stop offers pretty standard truck stop facilities, as most independent truck stops do, and it definitely has a place in my heart for these reasons.

These two things I did not think I'd be saying about McD's as I have not eaten there for years. There were two young gentleman working and the customer service was top notch. Hope the people in Perry have this same experience and hope this McD's can keep these two gentlemen as they were employees that help show great service and present an appearance that McDonald may be a great place to work with the right team on place.
