Crab Rangoon

Love this place! Super big menu and lots to choose from!! Service was great, they are always coming to check on you!

The Dragon delivers on a lot of fronts. The food is very good with big portions, well balanced flavors, and a nice blend of Asian fusion that somehow works without trying too hard. Service is attentive and friendly, and the decor is honestly a vibe. Imagine a whimsical Japanese street scene crashing into a traditional Chinese home and somehow it all comes together. Now for the bad. I ordered an 8 out of 10 on the spicy scale and got something milder than a Minnesota porno. There's just the faintest hint of heat. Also, the music choice is straight-up confusing. Sitting under delicate umbrellas and flying dragons while listening to graphic hip hop lyrics felt like getting serenaded by Missy Elliot at a tea ceremony. Not a fan. Still, the food and the charm win out. I'd go again. Just maybe with earbuds and a bottle of hot sauce.

Pad Thai with fried rice and egg roll

By their own admission they are in the midst of a "soft opening" and are striving to work out any kinks. Hopefully they will get it done. We were in town to have a birthday lunch with our grandson and he chose The Dragon. Place was packed at 1:30 on a Friday and we heard other patrons raving about their food. We ordered fried calamari and shared it. A bit greasy but ok. Spouse and I ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp. Grandson ordered beef lomein. He pronounced his dish great. We were a little disappointed in the Pad Thai. Our server was busy, harried and scrambling to keep up with all his tables. The place is in a former Red Lobster and has been nicely Asianized with lanterns, parasols and Asian artworks. I'll give them another try next time we're in Stillwater. I won't get Pad Thai again and I won't go in at the tail end of what appeared to be a busy lunch rush.

Great portion but TONS OF OVERCOOKED MUSHY NOODLES AND A LOT OF EGG only a few small pieces of beef.

We are visiting from out of state and I looked at a lot of Asian places here and chose The Dragon Asian Kitchen. BIG MISTAKE. I ordered Wonton Soup and Rice Noodle (Char Kway Teow). The Wonton soup was awful! I could swear the noodles were NOT cooked, they were a strange almost grayish color and fell right off the meat. The Rice noodle dish had very very little beef and the pieces in it were so small! There was more niche and egg than beef. The noodles were severely overcooked. It was like mush in my mouth. I clearly chose the wrong place. The only good thing I'll say is when I called they offered a replacement soup. Which I appreciated but I won't have time to get it, I leave OK Sunday. Save your money.

Good Chinese is hard to find. I gave this place a shot and was highly disappointed. Order Crab Rangoon as appetizer then Crispy Honey Chicken with fried rice. Crab Rangoon was pre cooked and soggy with little flavoring on the inside. Crispy Honey chicken was the most edible but the fried rice was just flavorless rice tossed in soy sauce. Egg roll was equally unimpressive. Hopefully they can figure things out and find some pride to cook with.

Amazing every time! Delivery through their app is so fast! The lo mein and spring rolls are my favorite!

a few months back, my partner was visiting her sister at osu & made a stop at golden dragon cafe…read morebefore coming back to tulsa. i had the fried rice with tofu. i think the spice level was around 3. i wasn't familiar with this spot so i played it safe with the spice level (i LOVE spicy food) & level 3 did its job. it was super good & had so much left over, so much that i had it for the next 2-3 days. recently, i was in stillwater taking senior photos at osu & my partner's parents ended up getting our order. i got the same thing as last time except with chicken at level 5 with the spice. the fried rice was just as good as i had it the first time around when it was brought to me & the spice was subtle. it was a sunday, it's now tuesday & i STILL have plenty left (i plan on finishing it today). if you want food to hold you over, good food at that, this is your spot. with being leftovers, the flavor gets better & better each time i had it for the days. they have a lot to choose from between chinese & thai. soup, lo mein, fried rice, etc... maybe one day i'll actually sit in the establishment to enjoy the food instead of having my food compacted in a to-go container.

The restaurant is clean and the staff are wonderful and friendly. I ordered egg drop soup, 1 egg roll, Jasmine tea, and Cashew chicken. There was something seriously wrong with the soup. It was NOT good and the crispy noodles were very bitter. Like they haven't changed their oil in a month. Gross I spoke with possibly the owner and he said he doesn't eat the soup. He didn't sound like he was going to taste it to check. The egg roll was absolutely delicious! I could have eaten 4 of them. My entree was generic and salty. Most of the menu has the same brown sauce, so don't expect the dishes to have much difference in flavor profile. All in all, my review is generous at best.

Ever since my son started at OSU four years ago, I've passed by this restaurant many times and…read morealways wondered what it was like. I finally tried it on this trip, and it was wonderful. Delicious! The food here isn't greasy at all. You can choose your preferred spice level when ordering, and the ingredients are fresh. The dishes are served on trays reminiscent of those used in traditional Chinese tea ceremonies. The side of rice is cooked on the firmer side, but once you mix it with the sauce, the texture becomes perfect. The prices are student‑friendly, and the portions are just right. I can't believe such a great restaurant is located right next to the OSU campus. It's been a week since I ate there, and I'm already itching to go back. I think the restaurant could be even nicer if the interior were updated with a slightly more modern touch.

I spent six years living in China, so I feel like I have at least a halfway decent sense of what…read moreChinese food should taste like. I know that Kung Pao Chicken is the go-to safe bet on the menu, kind of like the chef's choice of Chinese food. But man, this one just didn't land. I asked for a 4 out of 5 on spice, I wanted something with some heat, but not like a dare. What I got had all the firepower of a bell pepper. Maybe someone from rural Wisconsin might've found it adventurous, but for anyone who's had the real thing, this was at the same level of bbq sauce. One of the things I genuinely enjoy about going to Chinese restaurants is keeping up my Mandarin, having a quick chat with the staff, maybe hearing a few regional accents. No dice here. The guy up front was a white dude with no idea what zhōngguó cài even is, and the kitchen staff were speaking Spanish the whole time. Which, fine, but maybe don't brand yourself like you're bringing authentic Sichuan to town when the closest you get is a laminated picture of a dragon and some questionable chicken. Food was edible. Service was fine. Place was quiet. But the whole thing felt like the ghost of a Panda Express trying to pass as something more serious. I might give it one more shot in the future just to be fair, but for now, this was a miss.
