Pho!!!!
Zane W.

What can I say this place completely caught me off guard. I think that makes it even better. Located in the back of an Asian Market it's as good as it gets regardless of being in OK. It really is that good. I had dumplings and Pho and it was perfect. The only place I could compare this too due to the location and randomness of it all is Sugar Nymphs in Penasco, NM. The menus aren't remotely similar but one would never think that Penasco or Stillwater OK would be fortunate enough to have these two wonderful places to eat.

Crab Rangoon's

First, I'd like to say food was amazing, the ramen was light and flavorful! Crab Rangoons were filled with a sweat creamy cream cheese could have had more crab flavor but overall very yummy. I'm giving this rating a low, unfortunately our service was not great. One of the ladies serving customers aka us, was so rude. She treated us like we were bothering her which is not how people who want to experience a new place and give earnings to. She came to check in on us and that was nice but the energy was more like irritation. I understand people can have off days but if you're working food service, having a smile and being courteous is a #1 rule. Especially if you want to keep customers around. She seemed annoyed with every interaction we had with her. When it came to grab the checks, since the restaurant is connected to the Asian market. I quickly asked her if we go to the front to pay as she was handing us our checks and she snapped at me very loudly saying in a stern voice "NO DONT leave, you pay at the bar, you need to give me a minute." Yes she answered my question, no it was not at all said in a gentle tone. I understand it was busy, but coming from a person who has worked in the food industry and retail. It is never okay to be rude to the customers. My friend and others sitting around me notice the energy change and I have no idea why she was acting that way but I minded my own paid and left. Hope she feels better.

My daughter and I heard about Devoted through a friend. It is pretty fun because it is situated through to the back of an Asian market. Somewhat hidden and makes you feel special. The food is amazing. All of the Ramen was full of flavor and served fresh. I recommend getting rose lemonade. I still think about it. We were treated well and someone checked on us several times. It is very clean and I loved how it was designed inside.

Devoted is deemed the best eating place in Stillwater, and I'd have to agree. However one must consider that is a low bar. Stillwater is a college town with a lot of fast food, fast casual restaurants, pizza, coffee, and alcohol. This is a nice place get real fresh food served by fantastic, attentive staff. The space is small and inside of a grocery store. There's almost always a wait for the few seats available. Prices are fair. I haven't had many options and the menu is small. Though I've enjoyed the appetizers. I ordered from the secret menu, ma po tofu. A dish that is traditionally mouth numbing spicy. Theirs was not even medium spice. I questioned if they used a tomato base. I was rather disappointed as I've enjoyed their appetizers so much.

This might've been my favorite meal out of our entire trip. We were visiting from Los Angeles taking a weeklong professional development course at OSU. It's located in an Asian market and we were 4th on the waitlist on a Wednesday night. We waited may 20-30 minutes and spent our time perusing the market. They have anything you need in there. If I ever moved to Stillwater, I'd have my Asian grocery list checked. The food was AMAZING. The fried green beans were just as good as Din Tai Fung's at a third of the cost!! Fried Oyster mushrooms are fire. I could just taste them in my mouth as I write this. I got the Tori Paitan Ramen, which is the first time I've ever had it. I usually go for Tonkotsu whenever I get ramen but I needed to try it out. It did not disappoint! I was so full, I took almost half my bowl home as leftovers. Despite our many, many ramen places in L.A., I wish Devoted existed here.

Chili Shoyu + Fried Oyster Shrooms (more in the box than are pictured. Again, I was hungry)

Devoted offers a plethora of incredible Asian options for the city of Stillwater. You must go through the entrance of the Asian market by the name of Crepe Myrtle to reach the restaurant. Their options cover a wide array of items from Vietnamese Pho, Chinese/Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup, and Japanese ramen, each with great taste. I have had the chili shoyu, citrus ramen, paitan ramen, and beef noodle soup, all of which taste like their namesake would have you believe. My favorite is the paitan. They add fresh microgreens on nearly all dishes, so think of it as a Devoted signature garnish rather than their take on a cultural dish. Their sides are also great, such as the Date's Chicken, Fried Oyster Mushroom, and Takoyaki. For a restaurant that covers such a wide variety of cultural items, their consistency in rich-tasting food items stretches across the menu which is around 8 items + a few sides. Entrees are around ~$14-16 and sides are around ~$6-10, all of which come in very reasonable, if not a bit generous sizes. The interior is beautifully themed, the main colors being a well-lit and CLEAN bright white, blue, and brown. The only downside is that the space is small with a bar countertop of around 10 seats and a ~6 top table. With their popularity, you can expect weekends to have a wait. Even with a wait, you can trust that when a table opens, you will get seating ASAP as the staff moves fast, works hard, and is VERY attentive. Even on a busy dinner, the team always kept my glass above half full. To complement their dining room service competency, they are kind and cordial. The service team has a strong awareness of the dining room and the cooking team moves and serves quick food delivery. TL;DR - As someone who eats predominantly Asian cuisine, Devoted is a WONDERFUL option for rich-tasting Asian food with great portions and equally great service from their team. I've been here multiple times and will definitely keep coming back. Just consider whether you have a huge party as seating is tight. FAB Rating 9/10

Spicy beef noodle soup
Audrey L.

This was such a delightful surprise! We moved here from New York a few months ago and Devoted was one of the first places we heard about, but we only just had the chance to go today. Everything we ordered was delicious. The Chinese beef noodle soup was legit, with QQ noodles (great texture!) and nice chunks of beef as well as pickled mustard greens. The spicy chili wontons were also very good, with just enough kick (not excessive numb your tongue type spice), and the ramen broth was extremely flavorful and well seasoned. They also don't skimp out on the toppings, which we appreciated. Service was friendly and our server Molly not only took care of us but also gave us additional recommendations in the area and in OKC. Will definitely be back for the entire rest of the menu. One of the best meals I've had in Stillwater!

I'm only asking they start offering glass noodles but even without the glass noodles this hidden gem is in the back of the Asian food market the menu is simple but ALL of it is excelled on. I will say I didn't care for their egg rolls neither did my son it tasted like something's pickled I think. But the service is phenomenal team work for certain. The speed of food coming out and being as busy as they are is amazing! The ambiance inside the restaurant is set up simple modern clean and full on view of the kitchen personnel preparing your food and they offer flat homemade noodles?!?! I attached pictures of what we had if I were a local I'd choose this place over the miso place that we had earlier in the week for an Asian/thai type food to be honest I'd probably pick this out of any of the restaurants we've tried in town for the week or red rock ‍ oh one more addition they pack your items for Togo I personally just liked assisting in my own packaging due to how busy they were. The hospitality is phenomenal! LOCAL???? WHY ARENT YOU THERE ALREADY???? HUGE GENEROUS PORTIONS!!!

They have outdoor seating available, but we decided to sit inside where everything was neat, tidy, and running like a well-oiled machine. The staff throughout the restaurant were friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Unfortunately, our first table felt like it was sitting directly under the Arctic Circle, so we politely asked to be moved. Thankfully, that wasn't a problem. Once relocated, we landed in Ms. Jemara's section. Ms. Jemara was a sweet young lady with a warm smile, a friendly personality, and excellent customer service. She was attentive, welcoming, and checked on us throughout our meal without hovering. For drinks, my sister ordered a Coke while I went with a glass of water and an Orion beer. For appetizers, I ordered the Chicken Karaage and a side of Gyoza. For my main course, I chose the Vegan Miso Butter Corn Ramen and added a Nitamago egg. The Chicken Karaage was nice and crispy and made for a good starter. The Gyoza was enjoyable as well. As for the ramen, it was decent--certainly not the best I've ever had, but far from the worst. What surprised me was learning that the owners are from Okinawa, Japan. I was expecting a broth packed with rich, bold flavor, but this vegan broth came across a little milder than I anticipated. To be fair, this was my first time trying a vegan ramen broth, so that may have played a role. Since I don't eat pork, I've sampled quite a few different styles of ramen over the years, and while this bowl was good, I've personally had more flavorful versions elsewhere. Even so, the restaurant was clean, the service was excellent, and Ms. Jemara helped make the experience an enjoyable one.

The hanging wish cards, the wood accents, the little booth seating areas, even the lighting all work together. It is one of those places where you catch yourself looking around instead of just staring at your phone while you wait for food. Now the important part. The ramen. This was not some sad, watered down airport food court attempt at ramen. The broth was rich without being overwhelming, the noodles had the right bite, and everything in the bowl actually tasted like it belonged there. The pork was tender, the egg was perfect, and yes, I am now the kind of person who notices if an egg is done right. Even the little details were on point. Clean presentation, good portion sizes, and everything came out hot and fast without feeling rushed. The drinks were solid too, and I may or may not have been tempted to order a second round just to justify sitting there longer. Service was friendly and efficient, we had a fun time with our server. Nothing worse than great food and a weird vibe. Not the case here. If you are someone who thinks ramen is just instant noodles with better marketing, go here and let that belief die. I will absolutely be back. Probably sooner than I should be.

The ramen was not good or tasty to us, so we didn't order it again this time. My notes for last time was that the ramen was flavorless, and watery. This time, today, we ordered the Honeycomb Platter, Takoyaki, Chicken Wings (KBBQ), Pan-Fried Gyoza, and the Smashed Cucumber. Honeycomb Platter 10/10 - always good. Good flavor variety. My favorite is the shrimp. My girlfriends favorite is also the shrimp. Smashed Cucumber 7/10 - was not smashed like in photo. That's OK. Sliced cucumber with a chili vinaigrette. Fresh but a bit spicy. Takoyaki 5/10 - not the best we've had but we are picky. Good for people who are trying Takoyaki for the first time. Nice filling but lame flavor. Chicken Wings (KBBQ) 5/10 - 6 wings, half flats half drum. Tasty, but wing quality is just OK. Tangy KBBQ flavor. Medium crispness. Pan-Fried Gyoza 8/10 - yummy ! Not crispy on bottom but it was still pretty good. Pork inside is juicy and tender. Very cool presentation. We liked the variety of things we ordered this time, but could've done without the wings and extra Takoyaki, as the honeycomb platter comes with 2 balls. We sat upstairs in the honeycomb booths this time. Felt private enough but the acoustics made me feel like everyone could hear everything. Bright and quiet enough for a midday lunch today. Will probs be back another time for some other apps. Thanks
