This is A 10 Place to Eat Me and my daughter stopped by there on our way out of Meeker. Good size Restaurant clean even the restroom was nice. Me and my daughter usually always share a meal wherever we go and this was a fantastic place to do that. We ordered one meal and then just got another side dish. We had chicken fried steak the best ever that I've had in so many years, but it was like they took one dinner and put the same portions on both plates and was charged only for one meal ,homemade mashed potatoes, gravy, okra amazing the whole meal was it's about a 45 minute drive from MIDWEST CITY but we will definitely be back even with that drive. It was just that good. I just can't say enough good things about it and the young lady that was our server was awesome. Also very friendly helpful courteous went beyond and above, making sure that we were taken care of. Do yourself a favor and try it out sometime you'll be glad you did. I can't wait to go back. So I drove out here to try them out. Seen a lot of social media action. Was about half full. Finally got seated and waited as everyone seem to just walk by. The place was filled with locals of which I wasn't. Ordered the hamburger with everything and hand cut fries. Took about 10 minutes which wasn't bad. The burger was a very nice size. Cooked and seasoned very well. Still had juice running out. The fries were a different story. They were not cooked all the way. With fresh cut fries you need to cooked them once and then one more time. They can be a pain but if you are going to offer them they need to be done right. They were also way too salty. I only ate about half. Once my plate was delivered I had no contact with any servers until it was time to pay. Then they stood there until I got my cash out. Their food is always great they have a great variety on their menu with several food genres, American, Mexican, and some Italian dishes. They are a little higher priced than most but you get a good amount of food so it weighs out. Their chicken tenders and chicken fried steaks are amazing! They have a great salad as well and tasty rolls! The only issue we ever have there is the service is hit and miss sometimes. They often only have 1-2 wait staff covering multiple tables so service can be a little slow. Only reason for not giving a 5star. It's a great family atmosphere and very quiet and laid back. My husband and I and two of our very good friends went there to eat Saturday we treated them to lunch for their birthdays. It was so good

We were greeted and seated immediately when we entered the restaurant. The restaurant wasn't full at all. I seen that my boyfriend and I were the 4th table in the entire restaurant. Our waitress came over right away and took our drink order. When she returned she then took our dinner order. I decided on the Cajun pasta and the dude went for the chopped sirloin, roll and 2 side dishes. My pasta came with a salad and a breadstick. He opted for mashed potatoes and green beans for his sides. My salad came immediately which was a bed of lettuce topped with 3 cherry tomatoes and 4 slices of cucumber. Our entrees took 35 minutes to arrive. We kept checking the time and looking for our server who was nowhere to be found. When she did bring our food she told me that they were making my breadstick and she'd bring it when it was ready?! I was almost done with my meal when I was able to grab the attention of my server and told her I am still waiting for my breadstick. She had a puzzled look on her face because she completely forgot and the breadstick was just something that was clearly premade and warmed up, not sure why it couldn't come with the food. My cajun pasta was spaghetti noodles with red sauce and my boyfriend's meal was a hamburger patty with melted Kraft singles cheese on top smothered with bell peppers and onions. The mashed potatoes tasted like boxed mashed potatoes with no seasoning and the green beans were subpar. We were highly disappointed and agreed it wasn't worth going back. I love supporting local businesses, but if service and food are both poor, that doesn't give me a reason to go back. read more

I have been a regular here, and tonight my son and I went there about , counting us there was 4 tables two tables that were seated after us, Both those tables had there drink ordered brought out and their food orders taken. We were seated in front of one of the tables and behind the other one. After about 20 minutes we just left. Worst service ever, and this is a waite staff that has been there for a long time. It's worth the drive! I found LaDonna's Grill while searching online for a place that would be a nice Sunday drive from Edmond. I saw a pic of their onion rings, and saw all of the great customer ratings, and boom... we were on the road. We had the onion rings, which were phenomenal as an appetizer. We had the steak fingers, brown beans, green beans, mashed potatoes, cream gravy, rolls and banana cream pie. I listed everything so you'll know that everything was amazing. A table nearby gave us some of their homemade croutons. Yes, an odd gesture, but once we tasted them we knew why they were sharing them. Delicious. I was in town for work and wasn't quite sure where to eat not being a local. I stopped here because there were a lot of cars in the parking lot after 2:00 p.m. on a weekday. I ordered the fried bologna melt which was outstanding. The fresh cut fries were deliciously greasy. The best part of my meal was the blackberry cobbler à la mode that I had for dessert. If you're in the area this place is definitely worth the drive north of I40. My son lives in the area and we were glad to check out Ladonna's after he and daughter in law raved about it. There is a huge variety of dishes on the menu: burgers and sandwiches, home cooking dinners, steaks, pasta, Mexican inspired dishes. I had the chicken fried steak. This is a huge portion, and is a solid slab of round steak, rarely found at restaurants these days. A perfectly crunchy batter, would have liked more seasoning on the steak and in gravy. A huge plate of perfect fries and solid pinto beans came with it, and I ordered a nice crisp side salad with very good blue cheese dressing Wife got a Cuban sandwich. It's a good sandwich but it's not a real Cubano; but it's well made with tasty pulled pork and smoked ham. Son got a huge barbecue and ham sandwich and enjoyed it. He loves the prime rib here and gets it when they have it. DiL got the chicken bacon pasta and enjoyed it. The onion rings are big and homemade. The jalapeño cheeseburger is really good. Was seated quickly, order an appetizer and drinks. 15 minutes later the drinks arrived and the waitress promptly spilled a glass of water all over both of us. 1 hour later the appetizer arrived and 15 minutes later the ONE hamburger and fried we ordered came. The was the WORST dining experience I have ever had and LaDonaa's has lost our business. Mgt did comp the meal however, that does not excuse the terrible service. It was not that busy there so the problem was definitely in the kitchen.
