Exceeded expectations with the regular chicken Teriyaki. Both chicken and rice were moist and the salad was fancy lettuce not just iceberg. The dressing is creamer than most and it seems to have a little dill in it. The poke bowl has a lot going on, great flavors. Put a bit of soy sauce into it. Just some of the pack included, not the whole thing. Was a nice ad without drowning the dish. Poke is one of my favorites. Will be back for more of this. Would have liked a little more tuna but there was a lot of other things in this bowl.

Their spicy chicken with 4 stars is my go to! Big portions and great flavor. I like that their teriyaki sauce isn't too sweet like a lot of places. The only other dish I've had is their katsu chicken and that's also delicious!

Recently moved to the area and I'll admit I started coming here first off because of its vicinity to me but wow I have become a loyal customer for a lot more then that! Always speedy, very fair portion sizes, delicious food! I mean look at that poke bowl! It's beautiful and it is BIG, very proportionate (nothing worse then wanting POKE and it's all sides with a piece of sashimi sized tuna) not the case here! Tons of rice and lettuce underneath as well, she's a hefty gal trust me. Looking forward to my next bowl and trying a new entree!

My wife and I stopped in here for dinner since Teriyaki is one of my wife's favorite. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Indoors is small and clean. There is seating at the counter for those who like to watch their sushi being made. On the day of our dining experience, alcohol was not available; however, there was an alcohol (beer & wine only) liquor license application on the door. Orders are placed at the counter and delivered to the table or packaged to-go. We opted to dine-in and were also offered water. Nice touch since my wife's favorite Teriyaki joint doesn't offer water when we dine-in. For starters we ordered Pot Stickers (qty 10) for $4.95. Nice and crispy without being overly oily. Reasonable price too. My wife ordered the Chicken Teriyaki for $8.95: chicken thighs, white rice and house salad. She enjoyed her meal choice. I ordered the Chicken Breast Teriyaki for $9.95 + $1 up-charge for spicy. I ordered a 5* spiciness level and was very satisfied with the slow burn that I received. To our surprise, as we were ending our meal, the chef brought out a complimentary juicy orange that he had artfully crafted into art. Our table was not the only table to be presented with this fun food art either. The table next to us also enjoyed the chef's offerings. Overall, a fantastic Teriyaki joint that will soon serve beer and wine as well as providing additional services that make them stand out from other Teriyaki joints.

Seriously the BEST tofu teriyaki I've ever had!!!! I have gotten it to go twice and it has been so good both times. Will be returning!

Here's the quick version: Pro: -Portion of teriyaki was good (4/5) -Portion of rice was decent (3.5/5) -Salad on the side resulted in somewhat proper use of the teriyaki container Con: -Too many dry chicken pieces -Teriyaki sauce was one note: sugar -All of the proteins lacked flavor (chicken, spicy tuna, whatever fish was in the Philly roll) -Some of the rice was partially undercooked -Sushi was not worth it *Rice was not cooked properly *The amount of spicy tuna was small *Spicy tuna was not spicy *Philly roll was mostly all rice and cucumber *The ginger had a heavy scent of dish detergent and was inedible -Salad dressing lacked flavor Here's where I tell my story: So I left my parents' place and notice a growling in my tummy. I decided, "hey, there's some teriyaki places I haven't been to around here," and looked up a few on Yelp. I decided on PNW because of one picture someone posted of their take out order. I usually rate my teriyaki experience first on portion size, how well the rice was cooked, the tender/juiciness of the chicken, and then go from there with sauce and salad/dressing, and whatever else. I saw some bad reviews and still wanted to give PNW a try so I could judge for myself. So first thing first, the portion size was good. Notice the only empty space was for the sauce container. The salad was in its own box, and that usually means I'm getting more rice and/or chicken for my money. The sushi looked appetizing as well. I saw the wide Philly roll pieces and though, "this is going to be fun to eat." I take a few bites of chicken by itself then the rice, and notice right away that the chicken lacked any flavor and the rice had parts that weren't thoroughly cooked. I poured the included teriyaki sauce and still, no flavor other than sugar. I though, "no problem, I was going to put Sri Racha on the chicken anyway." The Sri Racha helped a little, but I don't rely on Sri Racha to bring the flavor for teriyaki. I use it to enhance the heat and the flavors that are already there. Noted above, the chicken was dry. While I know the trick is to make a bunch of chicken and hold them until the next customer, this method resulted in overly dry chicken. I'm not looking for a flood of chicken juices, there's got to be a balance. This felt as though this was held on far too long. I don't blame them too much on this. This might be a COVID situation where the unpredictability of customer flow disrupted their process. So the chicken teriyaki gets the pass at 3/5. This score includes the salad, which I don't ever have high expectations. The one critical thing about the salad was the dressing. I might as well have been eating the lettuce and carrot pieces (aka: salad) with watered down mayonnaise. On to the sushi, which I would not order again. The fish in both rolls lacked flavor. I'm not expecting 2x spicy ramen level spice from the spicy tuna, but it can't taste like shredded up cardboard waiting for soy sauce and wasabi to bring out the flavor. The Philly roll faired worse in that it was cut too big (hard to eat) and the fish was wrong in multiple ways. It was some kind of fish, but not the typical smoked salmon or might not have been salmon at all or low grade salmon(?). At any rate, I should have known to stick with whatever the restaurant's mainstay is instead of venturing off. That might have been partly my fault. I can't expect Jiro level sushi from a teriyaki shop. I wouldn't make a special trip to go back. There are two places I'd drive out of my way for, but not here. If I were craving for teriyaki and didn't feel like driving elsewhere, I'd come back solely for the chicken teriyaki. I might try ordering the egg roll or gyoza, but I'll wait and see if I do ever come back. I do feel for restaurants out there during these unpredictable times. There's a short list of restaurants I'd want wiped away. PNW is not on this list. I know a lot of teriyaki shops are small businesses that cater to their local community and that community's tastes. I wish nothing but the best for these folks.

I got half and half, salmon and tuna poke. The women on the phone said it's really good. I was hoping so because I've had alot of poke lately from different joints. She was so right. The poke had just the right amount of elements and not heavy or saucy. You get what you pay for. I'd love to try their sushi next.

First time here and the food is delicious. Definitely gonna come back to try more dishes. My roommates I came with been here a bunch of times. I had the chicken fried rice and it was bomb with the teriyaki sauce on the table. And just to top it off the people working there were very nice and helpful. read more

Decent joint. Good portions. We got the number 1 (chicken teriyaki) and number 12 (chicken and beef teriyaki) . A LOT OF RICE! Not a lot of meat. Not enough sauce, but you can buy a tablespoon extra for 24 cents. Very tasty though! And will be back when hangry! read more

My husband and I are moving back into the area and we were looking forward to coming here since it used to be our favorite place for teriyaki. Sad to say this place is nothing like it used to be. The ingredients no longer taste fresh (cream cheese in philly roll taste very low quality). The over all flavor & quality of food has drastically declined. Not entirely sure if it's because the place is under new management or new cooks but it's nothing like we remember. read more

Situation: Had to leave work early for an appointment. No time for lunch! Traffic home on I-5 is unbearable and 90-minutes of patience that my tummy doesn't have. There's nary a bite to eat in the refrigerator at home and tummy insists "I'm *hungry*! Feed me!" Nonetheless, it is really a bit too early for a "proper" dinner at only 4:30 in the afternoon. So what's a girl to do?! A quick scan through Yelp and my eyes spot what looks like a great solution: I could try a place Ive never been before - PNW Teriyaki. Yelp tells me they have sushi, teriyaki, and more. Sounds a whole lot better than the condiments in my fridge. And they're open at this time of the late afternoon. EXCELLENT! I'm a bit apprehensive of a place in a strip mall in the outskirts of Everett but I go check it out because the Yelp pics look terrific. Surprisingly, it's EXACTLY like the pictures - we'll sort of. It's actually better! Super clean, informal, comfortable, and fast! The team filling my order are incredibly happy, friendly, and treat their customers with enthusiasm and politeness! I splurged on the Bento Box A. It was incredibly fresh. Miso soup is good. The salad was super-chilled and as fresh as can be and the delicious traditional dressing is in just the right amount. The tempura vegetables are sliced and fried to perfection. The sticky rice is full of nutty flavor. The Teriyaki Chicken is not fatty and the sauce so yummy. The California Roll is just-then made up and is accompanied by a generous amount of flavorful soy-based sauce and wasabi. Did I mention the perfect size proportions? Just right for this girl's hungry tummy. If it was a normal day, it could have fed two of me. Very generous servings! YUM! I'm coming back as soon as I can! read more

Hands down the best poke bowl I've had in Everett. I mean I can't speak for everyone but it's got the perfect ratio of fish, (half salmon/half tuna) and the house special sauce is Certainly a delight to the palate! It's sooo refreshing on a hot summer day. The nigiri is also portioned really well, tastes delicious and the rice is not bland but enhances the flavor in your mouth. Not only that, the chef is attentive and really particular with his creations. What more do you want? Oh yeah a reasonable price...check! read more

I used UberEATS to order lunch here earlier this week and I have never been so impressed with a to-go presentation: A bento box took up my entire desk! It was loaded with a generous helping of rice and teriyaki chicken, along with several pieces of tempura (including shrimp!) and four pieces of California roll. In the center was a perfect little spot for mixing your wasabi and soy sauce. Plenty of ginger for cleansing the palate. On the side, a large portion of miso soup, and the FRESHEST salad I've ever received from a teriyaki place! All this for $13.95!! It was enough food for me to nibble on for two days! I definitely know where I'll be ordering from from here on out. read more

Great tasting teriyaki and sushi with reasonable prices! The menu is extensive, so there's sure to be something for everyone. My husband got the TNT and PNW rolls, both were tasty but he liked the TNT more. I got the beef teriyaki and was pleasantly surprised at how tender and flavorful it was. Definitely will come back again and would recommend to anyone in search of a new teriyaki place to try. read more

Ordered the spicy chicken and beef combo. Thought it might come with a serving of each, but it was a stir fried mix of onions and both meats. It was flavorful but at over $12 tax included, seemed a little short on quantity. Still 3.5 because of taste and quality. They have an impressive variety on their menu, especially in their rolls (sushi) which I will be back to try. read more

totally disappointed. 12 something a roll and they give you a roll made up of almost all rice no meat. i also ordered shrimp fried rice and was not aware that they probably chop about 2 onions per order. it's ok for onion lovers i could of had enough with half an onion seriously read more

This place has the best beef teriyaki! The menu is huge from sushi rolls to bento boxes to chicken/beef teriyaki to some Chinese items. It's convenient and their portions are generous. They also have boba drinks and daily specials. I'll probably be a regular here :P read more

When i first visit this place i thought it was just an ordinary teriyaki restaurant. And i was wrong. This join becomes my go to place when im craving for sushi. I always start with salmon poke and volcano roll. I loveeeeeee the salmon poke. Always fresh and super good. The foods never fails to impress me. Whether its the sushi or the teriyaki (love the spicy chicken and yakisoba) always makes our palate and tummy happy. Service is excellent. Love the ahjumma who always serve us with smile. read more

Don't like this place / ordered the salmon tempura roll- Panko was old sushi didn't taste good . - soy sauce bottles need to be changed holes were clogged up. We wanted our receipt - they refuse because they don't want to tear it off their roll !!! Ridiculous ! Never again ! read more

After reading the Yelp reviews, I wanted the PNW 2 roll lunch special for $9.99 and was somewhat disappointed to not see it on the UberEats menu. Instead I ordered Bento B and am glad I did! The chicken was moist and not overly-sauced, plus the teriyaki sauce is not too sweet. The rice was good, the California roll tasted fresh, and what really surprised me was that even though I was eating and working at the same time so my Tempura got cold it was still crispy! That never happens, usually cold tempura gets soggy. I will definitely order from here again! read more

I used to like it here however ever since they change the owner/management its been horrible experience for me. I've given the new owner 3 chances and they fail short on customer service and definitely foods are horrible including the waxy bubble teas. Never going back here again. read more

Service and food was amazing! Yesterday I came with a friend to get some sushi and we were beyond impressed. The volcano sushi is super good and has a very pretty presentation and if you're a vegetarian their veggie rolls+tempura is great beyond words. Also, if you come you must get the bubble tea, it's some of the best I've ever had. The staff were also super nice and the food came out pretty quick. I've found my new favorite teriyaki/sushi place and will definitely be coming back sometime soon. read more

I didn't have great expectations for this establishment or it's teriyaki plate. I thought I'd give it a shot anyways so I ordered. The meal was a disappointment...chicken was hard as a rock, veggies over cooked... you get. I also ordered a bubble black tea which was apparently was a mystery to the host. While ordering this tea, I was pointing to the lifeless menu that laid between us that read "Black tea". so yeah, basically if you put my experience in a nut shell it would be, 'Two people confused in a business park.' read more

Just ordered Uber eats from here and it is definitely going to be my go to teriyaki and sushi spot. We ordered a bento,chicken teriyaki and a pink lady roll. EVERYTHING was delicious! The Uber eats order took lees than 20 min. I can't wait to go in and see the place and try some more amazing food. The bento came with chicken teriyaki, California roll (4), rice, tempura, salad, & miso soup. The order of teriyaki chicken was a great portion and amazing flavor. The Pink lady roll- Oh MY Gosh! Honestly this place is OK the large portions are really not that big .. the people who work in the restaurant they don't speak the greatest English I did go inside to place an order and ask them for spicy chicken instead she told me they were really busy can you order something else ?? yeah how about I leave and go somewhere else and order food. The first time I tried there food ,somebody had brought food to me so it really was not that bad but when I went there in person it was a shitty experience read more

I wish I could give this place 10 stars, I absolutely love this place!!! The teriyaki and the sushi are AMAZING, and the staff is super friendly. The new owners are lovely and have completely changed this place from what it was previously. Super clean and modern, with of course the pacific NW vibe. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on their menu! This has become a regular spot for me. read more

This use to be one of my favorite teriyaki spots but now the servings are VERY small. I always get the tofu teriyaki with brown rice and get a veggie roll. The flavor of the tofu isn't the same and the worst part is the servings are very small. read more

Ordered 2 entrees and an appetizer for takeout, however when we got home they completely forgot to put our appetizer in the bag They closed shortly after we picked up order so we couldn't go back and get it (nor would we have wanted to honestly, it was a 15-20 min drive from there to our house). They were closed the next day so we had to wait and call Monday about getting a refund, but the woman on the phone barely spoke English and had no idea what I was trying to say.... she kept thinking I was trying to place a new order! Super frustrating trying to deal with an establishment where not one person is fluent in the language a majority - if not ALL - of its customers speak. So I guess I'll have to drive back down there to get a refund on something they should have remembered to include in the first place. Oh, and the teriyaki wasn't anything to write home about either. Definitely going somewhere else next time. read more

Stopped here for lunch today after recommendations from friends. It was really really good! I ordered spicy chicken breast and the hubs ordered spicy regular chicken. We both got 4 stars and it was perfect spice! The gyoza are delicious and you get 10! in an order. The rice was really fresh and tender. I asked for 1/2 rice and extra salad and almost half my plate was filled with salad! The interior is updated and very clean. The owners were super nice and very attentive. You can tell they really take pride in their business. Will definitely be back! Glad to have found a new teriyaki spot that we both like! read more

When I first went here it was sooo good !! Seems like they changed management and it started going downhill ! Went here a couple days ago and I asked for water and they said they don't have water if you want water you have to purchase a water bottle . What restaurant doesn't offer water !? read more

Legit teriyaki! Nothing makes me hungrier than a day of shopping cart derby at Costco. Having grown up in the Seattle area, I feel comfortable calling myself a teriyaki connoisseur. And this spot checks all boxes. Quality marinated meats, generous and not overly sweet sauce, great accompanying salad for some crunch, and the simple decor one comes to expect from a place that's only purpose is to feed a person. read more

This small restaurant in a strip mall near silver lake is a great little find. There are lots of teriyaki joints to choose from in the area, but this is the one you should pick. Fresh ingredients, flavorful sauces, delicious spicy chicken breast. You'll definitely come back a second time. read more

This was a pleasant surprise!! Tasty fresh sushi....we had the Volcano Roll, NY Roll, and Salmon skin roll and they were all delicious. Fairly priced...more of a take-out vibe than dine in but the staff was super friendly! Ordered Shrimp fried rice to go for my son and he loved it. Great little place hidden in strip mall. We will be back for more sushi and to check out the the rest of the menu. read more

It is very interesting to have read the last review of the customer getting charged extra money for rice. I was actually sitting next to it that day and could hear the conversation, and the whole situation was pretty awkward, because they really charged for no extra rice and wouldn't give her money back. Very bad service! We wanted to give it another try although we noticed changes... We were frequent customers since they opened and noticed a change in quality and food sizes. Meet and fish don't seem to have the same quality they used to have. The menu you can see in the photos isn't actually the one they offer: they skipped the lunch special, reduced the sushi selection and raised the prices. Today I received an avo salmon sushi role that doesn't deserve the name avocado and salmon, since there was just a hint of those ingredients noticeable (photo). What a shame! Since new people are in this place everything changed. We definitely won't return! read more

Really sweet couple and great food. The two rolls for 9.99 lunch special is great! We also ordered some sashimi and the chef came to tell us one of our selections wasn't fresh which was greatly appreciated! read more

We have been cooking teriyaki for over ten years. This is our second business, our first shop opened in Sequim, WA under the name Sequim Bento Teriyaki. Come on in and take a seat in our newly remodeled restaurant. We would love to serve you.

After almost five minutes, she finally found two tiny pieces about the size of a thumb--and they were mostly bone, not meat. The chicken broth tasted like plain hot water with a little chicken flavor. The char siu had an old, greasy smell, and my friend's baby bok choy still had dirt on it. I almost never leave restaurant reviews, but this experience was so bad that I felt I had to. This was one of the most disappointing meals I've had, and I will never come back.

Unfortunately, after my experience this past Tuesday, I'm not sure I want to continue giving them my business. I always tip--usually above the suggested percentage or by selecting the preset option. This time, however, I had cash on me and planned to give the driver a cash tip. There has never been a time where I did not tip. When I placed my order, the confirmation stated that delivery would take about 45 minutes. Instead, the order arrived 40 minutes earlier than quoted--well before I was home. I would have been there within the promised timeframe, but because it was so early, my daughter accepted the order. I also always select "contactless--leave at door." The delivery driver, who has brought food to us before, knocked very hard on the door and then asked my daughter if we planned to tip. That was completely uncalled for. My daughter had no idea that I had ordered food, let alone that I intended to tip in cash. When she told the driver I wasn't home, the driver actually responded, "Oh, because you didn't tip," and then left. I was shocked. Had the order arrived at the quoted time, I would have been home to give the tip as planned. Instead, the driver ignored delivery instructions and embarrassed my daughter by demanding a tip. If management is reading this, I strongly urge you to remind your staff to follow delivery instructions and not pressure or question customers about tips--especially when the order is set to be contactless. A cash tip was ready, had it not been delivered well before the delivery time. For anyone planning to order and tip in cash: beware.

The beef ribs were flavorful, juicy, tender, and fell right off the bone. I couldn't ask for anything more. The mac salad was good, it didn't taste like the mayo was too heavy for me. It tasted nice and light. And I had a couple bites of the Chicken BBQ, it was just as delicious as the beef ribs. Also the portion size was amazing. I think I'm a little partial, but the Beef BBQ Ribs definitely altered my brain chemistry. They were that delicious and I'll be thinking about these ribs for a long time. It felt like I was back home at a Filipino barbecue or I was in Hawaii eating at an uncle's backyard. It truly felt like the meat was grilling out in the back and we ate it fresh out the grill. It was absolutely wonderful and I'll be raving about this place to people for a while. Y'all deserve all the stars and love. And the music playing? Loved it, they were already on my island music playlist lol. We had an unforgettable experience. This place is a must try if you're in the area and even if you're not in the area as well. It's just that good.

HH review In short…read moreGreat design in a very welcoming space. Food might be under-seasoned to some people, but it's very well executed...and you can always add salsa. Great bar program, too. In long Previously, my biggest complaint with coming here was the total lack of parking every time I have tried. They obviously have no trouble getting the crowds in here. Today we scored some free time in the mid-afternoon, and their HH starts at 3:00 every day. We did go off the HH menu for 3 items, which ended up being worth it. You can't help but notice the buildout here. Pretty lights, interesting patterns or murals on almost every wall, lots of cool detail to the finishes everywhere you look. They even have yon selfie wall next to the washrooms (they took down a much bigger one). The bar has a couple flatscreens showing the game, but I'd probably not come here specifically to pay attention to a ballgame. At regular price, we got an awesome plate of chunky guac which I'd put against guac anywhere around here, at least that I've tried. At $15, it was almost a buck a bite, but, man, it was tasty. The bean dip had a great creamy consistency and mixed well with all the other condiments. We also got a muddled fruit cocktail from the regular menu, which was also excellent. The ceviche isn't a huge portion, and not overloaded with shrimp, but, hey, it's HH, and it's super fresh and tasty. The street tacos had awesome grilled flavor on the chicken, and the salsa served with them was fresh and excellent. We got 2 other salsas with our chips; the table salsa is nice but mild on the heat. The habanero salsa was a little too runny to get much on a plain chip, but it had great flavor and kick. Everything tasted really fresh and added plenty of seasoning to whatever was on the table. This is definitely a good place to mash up your salsas and dips and see what you concoct. The street corn was delicious. Such a perfect HH food--easy for the kitchen, but tons of flavor, and they nail the presentation. Corn tasted really sweet and crunchy even though you know they get it frozen. I'd get it again any time. For 3 apps, 2 dips, and 2 cocktails, we were under $90 before tip. Not too bad, especially since we went off the HH menu for stuff. This place is definitely in the rotation.

This is my favorite teriyaki joint in the Seattle area! They even have amazing sushi that is better than some places that only serve sushi. A few of my favorite dishes are the yaki soba, pot stickers, teriyaki. Sushi - dragon roll, scallop roll, and salmon sashimi. The decor and space is super clean! You can tell the owners took the time and energy to make it look hipster! Service is awesome! This is a true mom and pop joint and they really care about their food quality and their customers. Extremely poor customer service/management and as indicated by other reviews, you can just tell the owners here are very stingy people. I also just happened to be in there when the health inspector visited. They clearly have no knowledge of safe food handling procedures as I witnessed the health inspector lady raising her voice multiple times due to how badly the restaurant is currently being managed. I wouldn't be surprised if they failed their health inspection. read more

25 minutes to wait for a roll. Ok I said no. Then the chicken came you can't even chow on it's burn and over cooked.

I didn't except to have such a great experience here! Looks like a little hole-in-the-wall…read morerestaurant attached in a strip of stores/restaurants but the food was So good! Service is relatively quick and decent prices for what you get. Definitely a place I'll be going back to and exploring more of the menu.
