The food was amazing so full of flavor and cooked beautifully. I had chicken fajitas Gould easily feed 3people! The fresh guacamole was perfect so yummy. My hubby had 2 chimichangas with rice and beans also exceptional. We were so full we basically rolled out of there! Portion sizes are huge and the rices are reasonable. You can't go out for under $100 anymore. I was shocked and how small the bill was. Of course we tip very well. This is going to be a family go to once we move there full time!!! We ordered two regular daiquiris, wondered why they tasted completely alcohol-free, and eventually discovered... they don't serve liquor. At all. So apparently the difference between a regular and virgin daiquiri is....who knows? The rest of the experience somehow matched the drinks. We asked 6-7 times for a water for our daughter. Food arrived before silverware. Service was terrible. Food was bland. Then the check arrives with an automatic 20% gratuity for parties of 4 or more. Suddenly the complete lack of interest in providing decent service made a lot more sense. Truly one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had. Save your money. If you want bland food, no service, and an alcohol-free "regular" daiquiri, eg some coconut juice mixed with ice, you can accomplish all three at home without the frustration of a shitty restaurant.

We live in KDH and will never go back again! Great place if you want to pay $7 for a half shot of Aristocrat vodka from a "bartender" who doesn't even know what a gray hound is! Surprised she didn't charge us $7 for the cape cod she made when I ordered house vodka and grapefruit juice!Food was skimpy to say the least and service was awful! This is real clean authentic Mexican restaurant decor is so nice menu the best in the outerbanks ( Mexican cuisine ) I love the presentation of the meals, food came quick Hostess Dayan was very helpful my server top notch, sea food enchiladas were very tasty the best of everything the guacamole made at the table and tequila selection is just the best I ever seen on this trip.Over all 100% satisfaction great Job guys read more
