Pizza Man is located at 1306 East Colorado Boulevard Pasadena, California 91106. It is a short walk from the busy corner of Hill Avenue and Colorado Boulevard. Pasadena City College is also within walking distance. This area is a great place to enjoy California weather. This business location is easy to find walking or driving. When I walked in I was immediately hit with the aroma of flavorful food. This is a nice cozy pick up and carry business. After walking by some tables and chairs, I made my way to the counter. A staff member greeted me and requested my order. I was able to ask some questions about the types of food that they had available. They are known to have a great selection of pastas and sandwiches as well as their ever popular pizza and Chicken Wings. I decided to order a medium Meat Lovers Pizza and Chicken Wings with blue cheese dressing on the side. The first piece of pizza had great coverage of meat and cheese. The toppings had a great aroma as I unpacked each piece from the box. The crust was done to my instructions...a little crisp with a little crunch. I was impressed. Next I tried the chicken wings and was happy to see that they were plump and looked done right. Both the drumsticks and the flats had great flavor even without the dipping sauce. The chicken wings were moist and tender. I look forward to stopping back in to experience their sandwiches and salads. Parking is available on the side street. Horrible experience I had today. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and I received a breaded chicken sandwich. I went back to have it redone. The guy there said he only had one type of sandwich and couldn't do it. So then I said "I want my money back." He said he couldn't give me my money back. I then asked "why?" then he say because he couldn't. I asked to speak to his manager and he said he didn't have a manager. I asked to speak to the owner and he ignored me. I got pretty creepy vibes especially after turning around and seeing a bunch of guys in the store just hanging out but not really eating there. The place also reeked of beer and I don't think they have a liquor license. I asked for my money back again and he ignored me so I left the sandwich there and left. I will never come back to this establishment again and I will never recommend this to any of my friends and clients. I reached out to the owner and I hope I get my money back. Last night was my first time trying this spot & I'm glad I did! My husband had been telling me the pizza here is bomb and he's not wrong! We called in to order for pick up , we ordered 2 pizzas and some wings. The first pizza was half Hawaiian and the other half pepperoni and sausage. The next pizza was half pepperoni and half olives. Our daughter loves olives and she enjoyed multiple slices of this pizza. The Buffalo wings were good . I was happy with our experience and would definitely get food here again. So much so the meat had shrunk and separated from the skin. No juice AT ALL. I just have to warn folks, I ordered 6 pizzas two hours in advance and paid for them with a 5:45 delivery time set. Their pizzas are customizable when it comes to toppings and it is plentiful to share with friends and family. We ordered their food through their online menu at 1045am and picked up in person. The only confusing part of their online ordering was when we were trying to set the pick up time. The option they gave was "order time". We wanted to pick up at 12pm, so I figured it would take about 20 minutes to make. We chose 1145am as the order time. After we placed our order, we called the location and asked what it meant. I don't think the person who answered the phone understood what we were asking, so we said we will pick it up at 12pm. Pizza Man has a variety of topping selections, which is great because my boyfriend has a rare allergy to pork. But at Pizza Man they have beef pepperoni for him to enjoy. We get a 2 extra large pizzas and array of sauces habanero mango, bourbon bbq, and marinara sauce are our favorites. The staff are always friendly, and huge supporters of women's sports! They advocate for more viewer engagement for women sports. The staff member at the time made a great point. How do we expect women athletes to be paid better if not equal to men. If we don't support them by watching their games. This definitely solidified my support for their business. The dinning space is nice and cozy but I have yet to dine in. Ordered for the first time after getting a mailer. Put in a delivery order through their website in order to take advantage of some the specials. Decent portions and good food, especially for the price! The pizza was delicious and built on a great crust (like the cheese bread). The boneless wings were flavorful and crisp, and the antipasto was full of fresh veggies, cheese, and meat. Our only complaint was slow delivery. Our food arrived about 20 minutes after the online order tracker indicated it would, but the driver was beyond polite. He didn't even greet us when we walked in, and he just stared at us like we were aliens. I had to ask him for the menu. The guy making our pizza wasn't wearing any gloves. The pizza was edible, but I wouldn't say it was worth the price. We won't be going back to Pizza Man. This is for the one in Pasadena on Colorado Blvd. Glendale one was a little better I heard. The food is always alright. It's a good stop by after class at the nearby college. My big problem is the service. If you have a sign outside stating that a large pizza with 3 toppings is 12.99 + tax, I expect to pay 12.99 + tax for my pizza. Instead, the cashier tells me that if I order something personalized and not from the select few options, it wouldn't be 12.99$ + tax. He also tells me that if I added a drink, the deal wouldn't be applicable. I would be totally fine with this if the sign outside was stating that the pizza selection was limited and that there were no add ons. Overall, it's just alright. This is our go to place for good, fresh food! I mean, really, a cut above. And it is not just pizza, but a full menu of other items that are equally good. The Caesar salad dressing it the best in town for delivery! They are always courteous and the food is delivered fast and hot. We usually order Pizza and chicken from PM in Glendale, We like it a lot. But for some reason on this day we were not able to order anything, it's like it was down or something. So we decided to order from the one in Pasadena. The pizza was good, not great but good. it was a little on the salty side but that could have been because of the pepperoni or cheese. I don't remember if we ordered it with sausage or not but the pizza had like about 5 small sausage pieces sprinkled throughout the pizza hiding underneath the cheese but again, I'm not sure if we ordered it with or without sausage. We ordered chicken pieces I'm not sure if 8 or 10 pieces can't recall, however the chicken smelled funny and it had a weird taste to it. some areas of the chicken were super cold and some very hot. Very weird. We ate a few pieces thinking it was okay but as we kept eating the chicken the taste was soo off, it tasted bad so we threw the chicken away... we kept the pizza because the pizza was good. We almost finished all the pizza... it was good. Not the chicken I'm sorry, we were craving it too but this left a bad taste in our mouth so maybe we will not be ordering the chicken or give it another chance. Don't know yet about the chicken, BUT the pizza was GOOD. btw, we got sick to our stomachs in the middle of the night. BUT that could be anything that we could have eaten earlier in the day, I don't know. But we will definitely order the pizza :) BTW, I didn't order the pizza and chicken my friend did so it might not be in my name.
