Guess I am on a pizza binge. Decided to order 1/2 Bambino 1/2 All Meats for carry out. All meats half is extremely tasty and really hit the spot. The Bambino Half was just alright. The crust was decent and I enjoyed the Pizza!
paid 1.95 each for mushrooms, olive, red onions, garlic and basil. I see a few, the mushrooms I had to literally search for, just a few slices! Many slices no mushrooms. I don't taste the garlic. Bottom line is they really cheat on toppings. Proof is on the photos. And crust is meh.
Cafe Bambino's has been my go-to comfort-pizza spot in the area for several years now. The quality of their ingredients, flavor profiles, and reasonable prices are simply unbeatable. I've always done pick up orders, but I finally had the pleasure of dining in. The eating area is small, but comfortable and clean. And, the service was great as always.
First time here. Dropped off my car across the street and was waiting for my ride to arrive so I stopped in to grab a quick bite. The guy working (I think the owner) was super friendly and helpful. I told him, I've only got 10 minutes - think that'll be enough time to crank out a personal? "I got you" and my guy came through. I think he could tell I was stressing on time so he kept reassuring me he'd have the pizza done and that it'd be perfect and sure enough the pizza came out right on time and it was bomb. Crispy crust, loaded with sauce and toppings, it was exactly what I was hoping for. Would definitely come back and get another. Probably the bbq chicken next time since that's apparently the fav. 5/5 - shoutout to whoever it was that helped me out and sorry I had to dash without a proper thank you. You are appreciated.
I found my new local pizza spot in Pasadena! The pizza tastes delicious, with great sauce flavor, dough texture, and quantity of toppings. The service is excellent. Placing orders over the phone for pick up is easy and the team members taking your order are always friendly and courteous. This place is very small and not meant to dine in. I usually order pizzas for pick up.
A classic and tasty pizza with a wide array of flavors and options. Really happy to find this place because they nail the crust so well. So many places have soggy or doughy crust that makes it hard to love the rest of the pizza. It had a chewy and salty taste that suited the cheese and pepperoni so well. Looking forward to trying different pies because the diversity of choices is really spectacular especially for a small takeout type spot.
This was my first time trying Bambino's and was pleasantly surprised by the prices. I feel like it's rare to see an over 3 topping pizza under $20 nowadays. However, Bambino's has a wide selection of pizzas to choose from and customize for very fair prices. I got the Bambino's Special (medium) and Buffalo Chicken (personal size). The food took about 20-25 minutes to pick up and the cashier wasn't the friendliest, but the pizzas were fresh and hot. While it's not the best pizza ever, you can't beat the price. Definitely a level up from a chain restaurant and I would recommend if you're craving pizza.
The pizza here is ok. Good ingredients and cheese. Love the cheese pull. The pizza crust is thin and dry . Not soggy when heavily toppings with ingredients. The "edge or rim of the pizza" crust was airy and crispy- very good. The sauce was a bit too tangy with notes of dried basil not my favorite;however, not bad. The people that work here are so nice and they keep their pizza prices fair. I see why people love Bambino's.
I just ordered tonight the party of 4-6 meal which includes any 1 XL pizza, 12 pieces of wings, 2 Caesar salads and a 2-L drink. After I paid and given my order. I asked what about the drink and the lady who took my payment told me there isn't any drink. I was a bit surprised and I thought perhaps the menu had changed from what was posted on Yelp. Before I left,I asked for a menu so I can have it when I order next time. While we were eating, I was looking at the menu and saw that my order should have included a 2-L drink. And what was missing were the salads. The stupid part was the lady gave me salad dressings. This is very disappointing. I even tipped them as well. I regret it.
Came in on a Saturday night. There's no dining room, so this is a call-ahead and carryout joint. We didn't know. We ordered a meat-lovers pizza, a Caesar salad, chicken wings, an order of cheese bread, and soft drinks. The total came to $80+, which was a bit of a shock. We sat at the one and only table at the front of the store while a TV blared in the restaurant lobby. It took more than an hour to get our food. Nobody acknowledged us while we waited patiently. We wound up eating at the one table in the lobby where we'd been waiting the entire time. The food itself was marginal at best and they forgot to include the cheese bread and utensils. This was NOT a pleasant dining experience. Perhaps they were just having an off-night, but for $80 plus tip, the experience should've been significantly better.
This is some damn good pizza. About two weeks ago, ordered an x-large pepperoni for delivery. The thing was massive, and there was only two of us. We had tons of left overs, which I love. We did get mozzarella sticks that time and I didn't hate them but I don't think I'd get them again. Maybe if I dined in, I'm not sure. Tonight, we ordered delivery again, but this time we went with a large pepperoni. Birthday weekend ahead, so didn't wanna have too many left overs. Anyway, this time was different. In a good way. I know consistency is preferred when it comes to food but neither of the pizzas were bad. I loved it the first time, and I loved it even more, the second time. It's possible the size had to do with that, which is why I am mentioning it. I ate both of these these pizzas with the same person, so just trust that it's delicious, but neither of us can describe why. Also, with this order, we added potato wedges. OMG! So flavorful and perfectly cooked. Those will be added into future orders for sure. I highly recommend this place over and over again.

I was so sad to drive by yesterday and see that Bambino's was gone. The building was empty, and there was a new sign out front announcing that a café is coming soon. It honestly broke my heart. The man who I assume was the owner always seemed to be running the place himself. He was a true one-man show, and somehow still managed to make the best wings I've ever had. I'm not exaggerating when I say I'd buy those wings out of someone's backyard if he was still making them. They were that good. Bambino's was one of Pasadena's hidden gems. I genuinely think more people would have fallen in love with it if it had been in a busier, more visible location. The food deserved so much more recognition. I'm really hoping this isn't the end of Bambino's. If the owner ever opens another location, starts a food truck, or even just starts selling those wings somewhere else, I'll be one of the first people in line. Thank you for all the incredible meals and memories. You'll definitely be missed. read more

Cute little hole in the wall tucked away across from an Indian market. I never knew about this place until hubby suggested we order dinner from here. Came straight from my son's sports camp so ordered as soon as we got there. There is a small patio area outside and a small eating area inside, as well. We were greeted as soon as we entered and saw the giant menu hanging above the register. Ordered a white pizza, chicken tenders, and fries. We waited about 15 minutes. The man who was working was very friendly with my son and played peek a boo with him. The pizza was delicious and crispy! It looked like my son enjoyed his chicken tenders and fries. I think we found a new go to pizza place! read more
Have to keep it real. Digiorno is better. Not even gonna lie. After reading many of these comments, I said let's just try it out. What a flop it was. Seriously fail. I've made a few pizzas in my life and had the best of the best on the east coast. And this was a horrendous rendition of a pizza pie. Their sauce is possibly the worst sauce I have ever had. I am truly amazed people on yelp are raving about this place. Majority of you either have no taste buds or don't even know what real pizza is. For real. Sauce is extremely off putting. If it's oregano they are using it's either expired or they put so much it ruins the tomato flavor. The amount of toppings they put is almost like they are afraid to make customers happy, or they think they are losing money. Yet I payed like 3.50 for two toppings received like 1.5 whole mushrooms sliced and an okay portion of olives. They let the pizza bubble which shows how much they care about the pie. What a shame. Pizza should not have bubbles where the sauce and cheese are. I always would wonder "I should order from here" but deep down I knew there's BETTER, REAL pizzerias out there. And here we are, finally leaving that review I didn't care for but you all need to hear me out. There is better pizza out there. This is below par. I mean I want to say the worst pizza I have ever had in southern Cali. Never ever will I order from here again. Pizza sauce made of basil, garlic, San marzano tomatoes crushed, salt and olive oil. That's it. Keep that in mind and once you guys revamp your pies, I might reconsider one day. Till then total regret. read more

Absolutely delicious. The owner was very sweet and very attentive. It was fast and easy to order. There are a wide variety of selections to make and it took no longer than 15 minutes from my pizza to come together and get baked. I'm definitely coming back. read more

Sometimes you just want a nice pizza and a salad. The salad should be fresh and the pizza should have ample toppings and taste great. Simple. Bambino's checked all the right boxes. The Caesar salad was very fresh and came with tons of large chards of Parmesan cheese. That was a very nice touch. The Bambino's Special (pizza) is basically the work: Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, peppers and olives. The sausage consisted of nice, thick disks. That was also a nice touch. And the toppings were generous. This spot is a little tough to find (not easily seen from the street) but well worth seeking out. Solid pizza and a quality, fresh salad. Well done. read more

Never again. I've ordered from here before and dealt with the late issues but this is rather consistent. I haven't ordered from here in a year because of it. I spoke to the owner regarding the issue and he apologized and even gave me a free pizza as a mea culpa. A year, however, is plenty of time to fix a lateness issue. Hire more people. Get better ovens. And most definitely improve customer service. None of that happened. After working a very long day and not in the mood to cook, I wanted to have a pizza and some wings. My child wanted spaghetti. I hoped the issues I had before would've been fixed. It appears it has gotten worse. Now most pizzerias are busy right now during the pandemic and patience is a virtue. Asking me to wait 90 minutes for food in addition to being late is above and beyond BULLSHIT. That's two whole-ass hours I had to wait and it STILL wasn't delivered. Refund, pronto. So, in short. Fuck you. Fuck everyone who works there. Fuck the business professor who let you pass because you damn sure don't know any business, let alone to run one. Done. Do not contact me or respond to this review. I ain't changing a goddamn thing. Just like I dealt with telling my child he couldn't get spaghetti and meatballs from your restaurant, you will deal with this scathing fucking review. And FUCK YOU one last time. read more

Ordered delivery through Ubereat and their pizzas were so yummy! Their garlic chicken wasn't too garlicky which I prefer. Very fair in price and the portion was decent (so many diff sizes for their pizza to choose from!). Personal size is def plenty for one. Was running $15 off $30 offer on ubereat - not sure if they have that offer anymore but def worth checking out! read more

Pick up order (3/12/22): XL - half Bambino half meat lovers (3.5/5) L - margarita, add pepperoni, light tomato sauce (4/5, potential for 5/5) Personal - breakfast pizza (3/5) Buffalo wings - 18pc, hot (3.5/5) Mozzarella sticks - 5pc (3.5/5) Potato wedges - (3.5/5) Total = $115 (before tip) I liked this place better than Pasadena Pizza. After my first go, I feel like now I know what to order for next time so that I can make it a 5/5 order. The margarita with light sauce + pepperoni was actually the group favorite and I will 100% order it again. Will definitely be back for this pizza. Appreciate that the crust/breading is on the thinner side tho not quite NY style (but so far the closest I've found in Pasadena), 4/5. The half and half XL was a good idea as there are 12 slices total but it seemed the group preferred the meat lovers over the bambino's special. Next time I might pass on Bambino's special and get the *all meat with extra sauce.* Complaint here was the pie was a tad dry (hopefully solved by extra sauce), 3/5. The breakfast pizza was a semi let down (glad I only got the personal size). It was.. good.. but lacking. I like the concept and it has potential but there wasn't any bacon :( And toppings were lacking. The "sauce" is the scrambled eggs with cheese and some peppers and a tiny bit of ham. Would be good in some situations but I probably wouldn't order again, 3/5. The sides were great. No complaints. Wings, potato wedges, mozzarella sticks were fresh and as you would expect. Marinara sauce with the mozzarella sticks was very good. They all hit the spot for the group. Not going to lie it was a bit pricier than I expected but it was all very good and next Ike I know what to order: 1st margarita with pepperoni and light tomato sauce, 2nd all meat pizza with extra sauce, any of the sides. Update - I also ordered a large pep/sausage/mushroom and that was another really good choice! For 4 ppl (3 male, 1 female) an XL + L + 18pc wings and a side or two is the perfect amount of food and gives you leftovers for the next day :) read more
