Even though Mountain Mike's is a chain, the Pas location genuinely feels like a neighborhood spot. The owners are super friendly and clearly care about the people who walk through the door. You can tell this isn't just a franchise going through the motions. What really stands out to my wife and I is the quality of the ingredients. Everything tastes fresh, and you can taste the difference compared to other pizza chains. Our go-to order is the Everest pizza with a side of boneless wings, and it's always consistent. Delivery is quick and hassle-free every time we order (one time the franchise owner made the delivery himself, which was crazy). You can also tell this place is a community hub with real local energy -- it's always busy with families celebrating birthdays, kids' teams grabbing a bite after games, or folks watching the big game together. Highly recommend if you're in the area and want solid pizza with genuine hospitality behind it! read more

Not just a restaurant for good pizza but also supports their community! We have used Mountain Mike's for our baseball team/league and always appreciate how they work with us to provide us a good experience and fundraising opportunities. Pizza has been consistent with some unique flavors. Pepperoni is crispy and their pizza repeats well so you can still enjoy it later. Just put it in the air fryer or toaster oven and its good! You can't go wrong with pepperoni but if you like a twist on a Hawaiian pizza, try Pineapple Chicken Luau. The McKinley is like your traditional everything pizza and "BBQ at the ranch" is your Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza. Try them out for a meal out or have them as part of your organization's fundraising. The owners are so nice and so support these businesses that also help support our community! read more

Great customer service from the start with Ricardo. I'm really big about customer service coming from the industry and this guy nailed it. He talked me through the menu and most places just don't care and have no customer service so to have this was great. The food was delicious. My family and I enjoyed the pizza, wings and mozzarella sticks. Then we ordered the churros to go. Thank you for this great experience and Ricardo for the great customer service and kindness. read more

Mountain Mike's Pizza is your average casual pizza joint with one major exception: the price. Our medium pizza was over $30. It was good--just nothing particularly special for that cost. The one standout was their cayenne pepper and vinegar sauce, which was surprisingly amazing and easily the best part of the meal. At the end of the day, it's decent pizza, but the price makes it hard to justify. read more

Absolute perfection! The crust was the star of the show--crispy on the outside, light and airy on the inside with zero flop. The sauce had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, and they didn't skimp on the high-quality cheese. Super friendly staff and a cozy vibe. Will definitely be coming back! I love that this place came into my area. It's slightly expensive, but well worth the price. read more

Now that football season is upon us, this is the perfect place to order from or even dine in. The restaurant is clean and the staff is super helpful. They have TV's, arcade games, and offer a buffet option. It is conveniently located next to Amazon fresh where there is plenty of parking. The pizza here is really good. The best part is the pepperoni's. A bit more pricey than its competitors, but the portion sizes are big. Definitely will be back soon as I am looking forward to trying the wings next. Overall, worth checking out if you are in the area. read more

Cute little spot for a casual bite to eat. We took our three sons there for dinner on a Sunday evening and it was pretty mellow. There was an arcade game and a couple of claw machine machines for the kids to play with while we waited for our food, which was nice. The salad bar didn't look very appetizing, but I'm glad I bought it anyway because the salad was pretty darn tasty! The pizza was good as well. Not mind blowing, but good! Chicken wings were dynamite! Pizza Cookie was a hit as well. Was I mind blown by this place, and can't wait to go back...not necessarily. But is it good? YES!! Sidenote, the customer service was excellent!! I can't remember the names of the two gentlemen, but they were awesome. :) Pepperoni pizza 8/10 Salad bar 8/10 Chicken wings 9/10 Cookie "pizza" 9/10 read more

We passed by this spot a couple times saw they had video games and kept saying we'd go in. Finally did, wish we hadn't. I will say firstly all the staff seemed lovely if useless. We can to try the machines. I asked the worker if the machines take cash or tokens. She said they take tokens from the machine so I put in $10 only to find only 4 machines take tokens. I asked for a refund because the games he wanted to play don't take tokens. They said they couldn't help because it's not their machines. Then I decided to pay for a duck claw machine because it said play until you win. Unfortunately none of the ducks were physically reachable by the claw. I once again asked the workers if they could help they said no. So wasted a lot of money. For no games and some pretty terrible greasy pizza. Don't recommend unless you want messy terrible food, and disappointed kids. read more

SPOILER ALERT: I've found my new favorite pizza place! I've been craving pizza and decided to try Mountain Mike's because the area lacks good pizza... and I am definitely impressed! Ordered Pikes Peak (all meat pizza) and it was so good, the pepperoni is my favorite. Ok here's my reasoning- it's their smaller / thin pepperonis that gets crispier in the oven and makes the most perfect topping. They're generous with the amount of meat which is also hard to find. Pizza crust itself was good as well. It isn't the cheapest option but it's is on a whole different level from Domino's/Pizza hut. Located in the plaza with Amazon Fresh, not too busy on a Monday night. Parking was easy (which is GREAT since it's so hard to find free/easy parking especially in Pasadena which is a must with 2 little kids). The place was so clean and the service was great. Overall, I'd definitely come back read more

Food is good, especially the boneless wings. Employees could use some training. We'd experienced phone orders not being entered into the system a few times (resulting in extra wait time once arrived at restaurant), and mistakes on orders (e.g., 1/2 lb instead of full lb of wings). Sigh... Employees are nice, just need better training. read more

Mountain Mike's popped up and piqued my pizza palette. For value, I would try the weekday lunch buffet - all you can eat pizza, salad, and a soft drink. This time they had potato wedges. This is great alternative to trying their different flavors and combinations, where you don't have to buy an entire pizza. It is definitely worth a try. There was ample parking during the day, located in the Amazon Fresh plaza. Time: 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Cost: $14.99 for Lunch Buffet + tax $16.53 Quality-wise, the crust is a slight miss for me because I love a chewy crust and the crust was a bit tough. read more

Came in for "pie day" deal they had going on, mini 3 topping pizza with a 20oz soda for $3.25 we also ordered buffalo wings($10 -6 and kickin Korean bbq wings. Pros - friendly staff, good tasting pizza, great wing sauces, generous on toppings. Cons- might be waiting a bit for pizza, the wings were really fatty, price, and menu in store is really small my glasses work but I still had to squint to see toppings. Overall if they had deals we would check them out again. Restaurant was clean, bright and the staff was friendly. read more

My friends & I were just heading back home from the Pasadena Convention Center when we decided to stop for lunch here. I'd heard a lot of good things about Mountain Mike's, a chain that's mostly spread across Northern California, but I was surprised to find there were a small few in Southern California, too. The interior is quite nice, it's not a large restaurant, but it has dine-in seating, so it's not one of those takeout/delivery centric pizza chains like, say, Pizza Hut or Domino's. They also have a few arcade games and claw machines, and that's always nice to see in a small pizza place, it invokes feelings of nostalgia because we've all been to a pizza place like that at some point in our childhoods. I hadn't eaten all day (smart idea, I know) so I had built up quite an appetite; I ordered a small pepperoni pizza with extra cheese, half with sausage, and a side order of mozzarella sticks. After about 15-25 minutes, we got our food. The pizza was delicious - crisp crust with a nice bit of chewiness to it, a very flavorful sauce, delectable cheese, and the toppings were high quality. Mountain Mike's prides itself on its "crispy curly pepperoni", otherwise known as old world pepperoni, & that's my favorite type of pepperoni; it's a tiny bit spicier, cooks crispier, & cups up into delicious little pockets of greasy flavor. Any pizza joint that has this type of pepperoni on the menu already gets bonus points in my book. The mozzarella sticks were also very delicious. They had a great cheese pull & a flavorful breading. It's a real shame the closest Mountain Mikes to me is all the way in Pasadena, because I live in the San Fernando Valley area. I'd love it if Mountain Mike's ever opened a location near me! (Encino, Woodland Hills, Tarzana, or Reseda would be nice choices!) - Please, Mountain Mike's, I beg of you, bring your incredible pizza to the San Fernando Valley, and to as much of the country as you are able! Pizza this delicious should not be restricted to mostly Northern California. read more

My wife and I tried Mountain Mike's Pizza in Pasadena for the first time this weekend and had a great experience. It's in a slightly unusual but convenient spot next to Amazon Fresh on East Colorado, with good parking. The restaurant is light, bright, and very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered two small pizzas, which were perfect individual sizes. I had the Pikes Peak, their all-meat pizza, and my wife had the McKinley, loaded with veggies like green peppers and olives. Both pizzas came out quickly, piping hot, with really fresh ingredients and excellent flavor. Prices aren't cheap, but you absolutely get what you pay for. Sunday Night Football was on, and as is typical with Mountain Mike's, they had sports playing on multiple TVs. The place filled up while we were there and seems very popular with families. I've been eyeing this place because I drive by it all the time. The other day, I noticed they were open but already had dinner plans, so I decided to grab the smallest pizza they had. I ordered a mini pepperoni and pineapple pizza (about 6 inches). By the time I placed my order and drove over, the pizza was already ready. The mini size was pretty small only 6 inches / 6 slices. But the pizza tasted great. The crust was crisp on the bottom, the red sauce had a good balance, and the pepperonis were plentiful (some even had that crispy edge, which I like). The pineapples added a nice sweet touch to balance it out. Overall, it was delicious, but I'd probably need at least a medium to feel satisfied. I will definitely come back to try some of their other pizzas! read more

I'm not much of a pizza person. I probably have less than 10 meals of pizza in a year. But saw this open the other day since i go to Amazon Fresh a lot i decided to get one to try because my mom loves pizza. Super peppy and lovely staff, greeted me from behind the counter as i walked in to pick up my order. Pizza is spot on with the timing, ready at 7:15 on the dot as i have ordered. We got the chicken club. Well, i have to say its delicious. good dough, nice crunch on the edges. Super moist with the garlic cream and nice fresh tomatoes. That bite was very very good. The only pick i have is the bacon and chicken ratio... a bit too much bacon and not enough chicken. Its a minor thing though. Its still a 9.5/10 pizza. Maybe i will eat more pizza now. Good job. read more

We have been to the mountain mikes in brea, but we were in the area and saw a new location show up so decided to give it a try to see if it was consistent. It's midrange pizza prices so there are some expectations. I got the pineapple chicken luau. I do judge based on the paper towel test which back in school those cafeteria pizzas... the grease you could soak up. This passed the grease test without problem. It passed the cook test as well since it is a thicc pizza it should be cooked all the way through and whatever ovens they're using seems to be doing the job since the underside of the pizza isn't burnt but still has a nice crisp to it while the middle is nice with tiny chew. Flavor was good, consistent, pineapple and chicken balanced nicely without chicken being dry. The salad bar was a nice bonus since all the veggies were cold and enjoyable on a hot summer day like the weather we've been having. Also ordered the churros which was really nice and crispy but dusted in too much cinnamon sugar which a few bites tasted like the cinnamon challenge, so dust off them churros before you dig in! Service was ok, they're just opening so I expect certain level of hiccups. read more

Took my family of four here for the lunch buffet, and we were impressed with the quality of the pizza. It's definitely better than Shakey's; the ingredients were better quality and the taste better.
