Now that football season is upon us, this is the perfect place to order from or even dine in. The restaurant is clean and the staff is super helpful. They have TV's, arcade games, and offer a buffet option. It is conveniently located next to Amazon fresh where there is plenty of parking. The pizza here is really good. Cute little spot for a casual bite to eat. We took our three sons there for dinner on a Sunday evening and it was pretty mellow. There was an arcade game and a couple of claw machine machines for the kids to play with while we waited for our food, which was nice. The salad bar didn't look very appetizing, but I'm glad I bought it anyway because the salad was pretty darn tasty! The pizza was good as well. Not mind blowing, but good! We passed by this spot a couple times saw they had video games and kept saying we'd go in. Finally did, wish we hadn't. I will say firstly all the staff seemed lovely if useless. We can to try the machines. I asked the worker if the machines take cash or tokens. She said they take tokens from the machine so I put in $10 only to find only 4 machines take tokens. I asked for a refund because the games he wanted to play don't take tokens. They said they couldn't help because it's not their machines. Then I decided to pay for a duck claw machine because it said play until you win. Unfortunately none of the ducks were physically reachable by the claw. I once again asked the workers if they could help they said no. So wasted a lot of money. For no games and some pretty terrible greasy pizza. Ok here's my reasoning- it's their smaller / thin pepperonis that gets crispier in the oven and makes the most perfect topping. They're generous with the amount of meat which is also hard to find. Pizza crust itself was good as well. It isn't the cheapest option but it's is on a whole different level from Domino's/Pizza hut. Located in the plaza with Amazon Fresh, not too busy on a Monday night. It's in a slightly unusual but convenient spot next to Amazon Fresh on East Colorado, with good parking. The restaurant is light, bright, and very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered two small pizzas, which were perfect individual sizes. I had the Pikes Peak, their all-meat pizza, and my wife had the McKinley, loaded with veggies like green peppers and olives. Both pizzas came out quickly, piping hot, with really fresh ingredients and excellent flavor. Prices aren't cheap, but you absolutely get what you pay for. Sunday Night Football was on, and as is typical with Mountain Mike's, they had sports playing on multiple TVs. The place filled up while we were there and seems very popular with families. My friends & I were just heading back home from the Pasadena Convention Center when we decided to stop for lunch here. I'd heard a lot of good things about Mountain Mike's, a chain that's mostly spread across Northern California, but I was surprised to find there were a small few in Southern California, too. The interior is quite nice, it's not a large restaurant, but it has dine-in seating, so it's not one of those takeout/delivery centric pizza chains like, say, Pizza Hut or Domino's. They also have a few arcade games and claw machines, and that's always nice to see in a small pizza place, it invokes feelings of nostalgia because we've all been to a pizza place like that at some point in our childhoods. I hadn't eaten all day (smart idea, I know) so I had built up quite an appetite; I ordered a small pepperoni pizza with extra cheese, half with sausage, and a side order of mozzarella sticks. After about 15-25 minutes, we got our food. The pizza was delicious - crisp crust with a nice bit of chewiness to it, a very flavorful sauce, delectable cheese, and the toppings were high quality. Mountain Mike's prides itself on its "crispy curly pepperoni", otherwise known as old world pepperoni, & that's my favorite type of pepperoni; it's a tiny bit spicier, cooks crispier, & cups up into delicious little pockets of greasy flavor. Any pizza joint that has this type of pepperoni on the menu already gets bonus points in my book. The mozzarella sticks were also very delicious. They had a great cheese pull & a flavorful breading. It's a real shame the closest Mountain Mikes to me is all the way in Pasadena, because I live in the San Fernando Valley area. I'd love it if Mountain Mike's ever opened a location near me! My hubby was craving for their pizza so we went there on a Friday evening for dinner. It wasn't too busy at 5pm. I've been eyeing this place because I drive by it all the time. The other day, I noticed they were open but already had dinner plans, so I decided to grab the smallest pizza they had. I ordered a mini pepperoni and pineapple pizza (about 6 inches). By the time I placed my order and drove over, the pizza was already ready. The mini size was pretty small only 6 inches / 6 slices. But the pizza tasted great. The crust was crisp on the bottom, the red sauce had a good balance, and the pepperonis were plentiful (some even had that crispy edge, which I like). The pineapples added a nice sweet touch to balance it out. Overall, it was delicious, but I'd probably need at least a medium to feel satisfied. But saw this open the other day since i go to Amazon Fresh a lot i decided to get one to try because my mom loves pizza. Super peppy and lovely staff, greeted me from behind the counter as i walked in to pick up my order. Pizza is spot on with the timing, ready at 7:15 on the dot as i have ordered. We got the chicken club. Well, i have to say its delicious. good dough, nice crunch on the edges. Super moist with the garlic cream and nice fresh tomatoes. That bite was very very good. The only pick i have is the bacon and chicken ratio... a bit too much bacon and not enough chicken. Its a minor thing though. Its still a 9.5/10 pizza. Maybe i will eat more pizza now. We have been to the mountain mikes in brea, but we were in the area and saw a new location show up so decided to give it a try to see if it was consistent. It's midrange pizza prices so there are some expectations. I got the pineapple chicken luau. I do judge based on the paper towel test which back in school those cafeteria pizzas... the grease you could soak up. This passed the grease test without problem. It passed the cook test as well since it is a thicc pizza it should be cooked all the way through and whatever ovens they're using seems to be doing the job since the underside of the pizza isn't burnt but still has a nice crisp to it while the middle is nice with tiny chew. Flavor was good, consistent, pineapple and chicken balanced nicely without chicken being dry. The salad bar was a nice bonus since all the veggies were cold and enjoyable on a hot summer day like the weather we've been having. Also ordered the churros which was really nice and crispy but dusted in too much cinnamon sugar which a few bites tasted like the cinnamon challenge, so dust off them churros before you dig in! Showed up mid day with my family of 5. Ordered pizza and wings . The pepperonis on the pizza were so good. The wings were perfectly cooked. The place was clean and the staff were very friendly. One of the staff members came over and asked the kids(3) if they would like to sample the mini churros. They jumped with joy and took them down without hesitation.
