Stopped in around lunchtime for my first visit. Unfortunately, the experience was not a good one. I waited about five minutes to place an order while there were no other customers inside. The cashier was on a phone call the entire time and did not acknowledge me at all--no eye contact, nod, or indication that I would be helped shortly. I understand that staff may occasionally be busy, but basic acknowledgment is a core part of customer service. Being ignored while standing a few feet away left a poor first impression and was disappointing for a first visit. Hopefully this is addressed, as it affects the overall experience. read more

I reserve negative reviews for businesses that obviously are inept. This is a doozy. Delivery service from this establishment is abysmal given the high cost of their pizza. The delivery person (who we tipped in advance--shame on us--never again) left the pizza on our front porch, didn't ring the doorbell, didn't knock. Two of us were sitting in within 20 feet of the front door the entire time. By the time we noticed our $50 pizza order on the front porch, it was cold, and the bugs had found it. Upon calling the establishment back (we called the order in, not placed online), we were given the run around being placed on hold at least three times over the course of over 30 minutes, and the best they could offer was three lunch vouchers... assuming we would want to frequent their establishment again, which we will not. Worst. Delivery/Customer. Service. Ever. Yet another example of shoddy overgrown franchise business relying on their customers giving up to grift them of their money for substandard service of overpriced products. Will not ever return. Irwin and Miles were fantastic! They described their pizza as they saw we had never been here before and had great table service. Pizza was an absolute 10! Mozzarella sticks and buffalo wings were great too! Have some tables inside and a few video games the kids enjoyed. Very clean and quiet when we stopped by (but I'm sure will get busy once the word gets out) They do have beer taps ready for when they get their license. Definitely try it out! read more

We had our end of season Little League celebration at Mountain Mikes in Pasadena this past weekend, due to the all-day Saturday rain. They let us use the whole dining room. Mountain Mike's offers up some options that are fast, fresh and tasty. My girlfriend and I decided to split a small pizza, individual salad and a side of garlic knots. At first we didn't think it would be enough food, but the garlic knots are made about a half dozen to an order and are so warm, delicious and filling - a perfect appetizer to share. The salad was also perfect to split, fresh, tasty ingredients and the option to get two different side dressings. The pizza was also quite good. Ten mini slices on the small, with great tasty dough, fresh toppings and a solid crust. I liked the sauce and felt that it was the right amount to share between two people, especially with the salad and garlic knots. The service was fairly quick, although the couple that ordered after is actually got their food ahead of us was a bit frustrating. I also had to go up to seek out the status of my order as they didn't call out a name or order number. Plenty of seating inside, along with several TVs, some expensive prize claw games. The vibe is not really a sports bar but more of a pizza place with TVs to help elevate your pizza eating experience a tad. Nevertheless, a pretty solid effort for a local pie joint in Pasadena. Clean, staff is nice, offered all the condiments upon picking up the order. Pizza: Pizza was fluffy and has good undercarriage, but the lack of meat toppings is a bit concerning. Nothing amazing comes out of the taste, lack of depth in the sauce and cheese. Also the size in general is a major concern. $25 for a 12-inch medium is a bit for a pizza that lacks in toppings. Wings Bought two different flavors: the Korean bbq and the honey, but it didn't matter because they were both burnt. I can't eat any of it without tasting the char burn on it. I don't mind eating wings that have a slight char, but all of the wings were burnt all around. Overall: If you're coming here to order a pizza, you might want to order a slightly bigger pizza to accommodate for bigger parties. Happened upon this spot while in the area and so glad we gave it a shot! I am what I call "pizza picky" and wow! Their pizza was absolutely delicious. It's a cute brick and mortar with a few token arcade games that immediately took me back to my childhood and it was clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They have the cutest mini pizza for kids too which was great for my son. The Luau pizza is a must try if you're into that! I've always been a fan of Mountain Mike's, so I was excited when a new location opened nearby. Unfortunately, after trying it several times, the pizza here consistently tastes overly salty--enough that I find myself needing a lot of water after just a few slices. I'm not sure if the dough recipe is different at this location, but it seems like they go heavy on the salt. Hopefully, that changes, and I'll consider giving it another try in the future. read more

I recently tried this pizza in Mesa Arizona, which was fantastic. Was surprised to see there was one in Pasadena, so I went there to have another one of their Pike's Peak pizzas. The pizza at this location was lacking compared to the one in Mesa. It had less toppings and sauce. The crust was very doughy and heavy. The pizza toppings were flavorful as well as the sauce that was on it, but was short on the toppings as previously stated. The staff was friendly and provided good friendly service. I may give it another try just to see if it will live up to the quality of the one in Mesa. read more

We ordered the BBQ at the Ranch. 2nd time we did the All You Can Eat Lunch Buffet which is only on weekdays from 11am to 2pm for only $14.99 at the time of this posting. We tried 6 different pizzas at the buffet bar and all of them were good. The buffet comes with ayce salad and soda.
