    Delicious baked wings
    Richard S.

I have been wanting to try this place since I first saw them on Yelp! I had high hopes for these baked wings and I was not disappointed. The service was a 10 out of 10. It was my first time here and the gentleman at the front was very kind and accommodating. He had me try all the sauces which were all great and help me make my order. I'm really into Fitness and careful with my diet so big is a lot healthier choice than Fried. Before I got my food he came out with some sample wings that were big and juicy and delicious. My anticipation grew more and more. All the sides like cauliflower potatoes carrots, are all baked. I got the fries cause I can never eat fries anywhere else cause they're all fried but these were bacon and delicious. This is going to be my go to spot for wings. I love the ambience with a big screen of the World Cup and all the action going down on Colorado. I highly recommend love bake wings.

Really delicious wings that don't weigh you down like fried wings. And the carrot fries are amazing! And loved the cute drawing on the to-go bag. Will be coming back for sure!

Great service and food. Right on Colorado so amazing people watching. The kale salad is delicious, the fries baked and they have baked carrot fries! Sood good.

Love Baked Wings! The name says it all! Not only will you love the baked wings because they are healthier and air fried, you will also love the drinks, the fries, the sandwiches and the extremely friendly and professional staff. I have now eaten at Love Baked Wings in Pasadena a couple of times and I've been happy every time with my food and service. This last time I got a spicy chicken sandwich with one of their signature sauces and fries to go with it. It was so delicious, I highly recommend this restaurant! I was last served by Mitch and Mary Carmen, they were both so welcoming, friendly and knew all about the menu and they made everything to perfection.

The good: The people working at the counter were very friendly and welcoming. We took a while to order, and they were patient and courteous. They gave our kids free little light up chick toys that they absolutely loved and kept them entertained while we waited for our food! The bad: - The reason it took us so long to order was because they were seemingly out of half of their menu items. Everything we wanted to order was out of stock, so we settled on boneless chicken with fries and chicken gyoza - Something very important to note is that they primarily serve dark meat for the boneless chicken. Dark meat can have a pink/red color even when fully cooked. We had several pieces that looked so red that we didn't feel comfortable eating them because it just looked unappetizing how red it was and I didn't feel fully certain it was cooked because I don't carry around a food thermometer lol. But no one in our party got sick, so I assume it was cooked? I honestly don't know. -When we arrived, they were playing very loud, very explicit hip hop. I love hip hop myself and it would have been fine if our kids weren't with us, but with kids it was just kinda weird to be listening to very explicit lyrics at 10 AM lol. It wasn't just normal hip hop, it was like the extra explicit cut of some SoundCloud rapper. Eventually they changed it to very loud country music. Just weird vibes either way

On the screen it says "food takes 25-30min" I waited 50 min... There were at least 4 people waiting for their orders. Whenever one of us tried to talk to the server and as they were approaching, I could tell she was going to somewhere else like to the kitchen and intentionally tried not to give the eye contact with customers. The customer is next to you how can you not look at them...lol After almost an hour I got my food only to find that pickled radish was spoiled. Luckily I added an extra so it saved me. When I took out the container it was already full of gas and about to explode. When I opened it, smelled horrible like raw food left in the garbage disposal for weeks. (You can see how cloudy the juice is from the picture) Over all, I understand that this location has the worst review among other bb.q chicken in SGV, I'd choose other place next time. Food was good so 3 stars for that.

The food at bb.q Pasadena is pretty consistent and if you're looking for that typical flavor of…read moreKorean fried chicken, you will get that here. I only ever order takeout from this location and there's definitely things that could be improved. The location is on busy Colorado so parking is a nightmare. The workers here have absolutely no sense of urgency. Often I've been the only customer picking up and the speed of service could only be described as "meandering" to find and hand me my order. As previously mentioned, there's no issue with the food. It's juicy and flavorful. But there's inconsistencies like sometimes I get the side radish and utensils but other times not at all. The attitude of the workers you interact with are that of someone who has absolutely no pride in their work and are simply tolerating customers. It would go a long way to improve this location if workers were trained to do everything as efficiently and quickly as possible. The cost is also astronomically high for chicken. A whole chicken is $31 before any taxes or fees. It's not competitive with other Korean fried chicken places and you have to imagine part of the cost is due to the location. I would be sad if this branch closed, since it is closest to where I live, but it wouldn't be a shock that it did close. There's a lot of low hanging easy changes that could be made. Better training from management, more local deals, and focusing on customer service.
