The wings were incredibly fresh, and you can actually taste the lemon on the lemon pepper wings instead of just getting seasoning. The flavor was spot on, and they were easily my favorite. I also tried the mild buffalo wings, which were outstanding, and the jerk wings were packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. What really set this place apart was the customer service. The manager/owner took the time to talk with us and made us feel genuinely welcomed. That's the kind of customer experience that keeps people coming back. I'm not a wing person at all, but my partner really wanted to try this place. It looks really small, but I think the space is well-used since there are tables in and outside of the restaurant. I found it strange that they placed their kiosk outside for ordering, but in addition, they have a counter inside to order. My partner ordered 10 pieces of wings by themselves, and I got a sandwich combo. I was intrigued by their carrot fries, so I ordered those as well. I assume they cook/bake their food to order, but I'd say our food came out relatively quickly. Overall, food was great. As the menu stated, the carrot fries taste very similar to sweet potato fries; I don't like sweet potato fries at all, but these were tasty. I also really enjoyed their potato fries; they're big and soft without tasting mushy. I'm glad to support this relatively new spot in Old Town. read more

This is the hundredth chicken spot within a 1 mile radius, several of which have gone out of business. Their differentiator is that they're baked instead of fried--which means they are slightly better for you and (more importantly) leave a cleaner feel. The place is small but they do a good job with what they have. The service was incredibly friendly, especially for what is essentially little more than a shack. I got the boneless wings which were all varying levels of good with lemon pepper as my standout favorite. I'll probably be back but not healthy enough to be a regular. read more

This place just re opened. So let's see if they're pretty good eh or ew. Everything here is baked and not fried and I got their carrot fries, garlic parm rosemary fries, small order of sesame ginger cauliflower bites, 5 piece boneless lemon pepper wings, and 5 piece bone in jerk wings to try. The carrot fries were sweet, well seasoned, and tender with a starchy coating. Wasn't getting much garlic flaves from the garlic parm rosemary fries but the potatoes were nice, fluffy, and soft and did have light cheesy parm and rosemary flaves. The cauliflower bites were coated in a lightly crisp breading, slightly sweet glaze, and had a tender piece of cauliflower inside. The 5 piece boneless wings also had a similar breading with lightly zesty lemon flaves. The chicken was pretty dry but that's ok cuz we got sauce. The ranch was more on the liquidy end with strong dilly flaves. The blue cheese was creamy, smooth, and had light blue cheesy flaves. The sweet chili sour cream and buddy sauce were creamy but kinda both just tasted like sweet mayo and wasn't really for me. The jerk wings didn't have much jerk flaves but were really juicy, tender, and chickeny. Cuz everything is baked it's not as crispity crunchity as if it were fried but at least it doesn't make you feel gross or heavy after eating. I have been wanting to try this place since I first saw them on Yelp! I had high hopes for these baked wings and I was not disappointed. The service was a 10 out of 10. It was my first time here and the gentleman at the front was very kind and accommodating. He had me try all the sauces which were all great and help me make my order. I'm really into Fitness and careful with my diet so big is a lot healthier choice than Fried. Before I got my food he came out with some sample wings that were big and juicy and delicious. My anticipation grew more and more. All the sides like cauliflower potatoes carrots, are all baked. I got the fries cause I can never eat fries anywhere else cause they're all fried but these were bacon and delicious. This is going to be my go to spot for wings. Totally love Love Baked Wings in Pasadena! We love chicken wings, and using the air fryer at home is great - but when we don't want to cook, we head to LBW. As a local from Old Town Pasadena, I was sad to see the old Jake's Burgers fade away from the historic location, but LBW is a great replacement for quick food in Old Town. So why check out LBW? For us, my husband cannot eat anything deep-fried or anything with processed sugar (less processed is always better). Several of their rubs do not contain sugar, making them perfect for sharing. Our fave is their "Infamous Wings" (not on the counter menu, so you need to ask for them). Second to the Infamous, my husband likes 'just plain baked,' no rub. I liked the Garlic Parmesan Rosemary wings - enjoying the Garlic-Parm combo, and the rosemary is very subtle. Their other flavors are good too if you don't have food restrictions. On that note, all of the staff are very willing to answer ingredient questions. I give a personal shout-out to the "McNashty" flavor - picking up on good ole Nashville BBQ. I liked the carrot fries, but my husband prefers traditional potato fries - both are good for a share (baked, not fried). I also tried the Kale Chopped salad - AMAZING! Their kale chop is one of the best I have had anywhere, and who goes to a hot wings joint for kale salad? ... I would totally go pick just to pick up a quick light lunch.
