The pizza 2 mos. ago. This one tasted much better !!! Maybe it is who prepares it. In how it turns out :)

Hi , Went tonite , ordered same pizza i had ordered about 2 mos. ago. But this time they did the crust really thin !!! I do not like this pizza crust , i had assumed they make it just like they did 2 mos. ago ( regular size pizza crust ) but guess u have to request it. I didn't have to last time tho. But i think it was a different chef then tonite. The pizza was good but not great like 2 mos. ago. Definitely tell them how u want ur crust ( and yes they will probably charge extra ) which i feel they shouldn't , msybe for extra cheese or whatever , but not the crust. Usually i get the Italian hoagie which i love.

The sandwich was delicious with fresh ingredients and the bread was perfect. I had the Hoggie. The service was excellent too.

    Meatball sandwich
    Monte L.

This was my first time here, and I was very impressed with the meatball sandwich. The meatball itself is soft, meaty, juicy, and full of flavor. The sauce is savory and meaty, and thick; I loved it. The bun was crunchy on the outside and very soft inside and covered with toasted sesame seeds. The service was friendly when I picked up the sandwich; it's a family run business and I believe the daughter rang me up. They appear to be genuinely nice. The place itself is small, cute, and cozy. It's a no frills interior. The fries are seasoned fries (previously frozen), and they're tasty, crunchy, and the seasoning is savory but not overpowering. You still taste the potato which I like. Overall, a great spot for a meatball sandwich.

    Turkey and ham sub

I was craving a turkey and ham sandwich and this place did not disappoint. Sub hit the spot , it was so good and best of all the man at the counter was so courteous and helpful and sweet . The woman that brought us our subs to the table was also so kind ! Definitely recommend .

    three slices of bread!

roma market was closed early for new year's eve, so I popped into pietro's for a sandwich. the hot hoagie was great. smooshed down by the hot press, it was a nicely balanced sandwich. sometimes you want a mountain of meat with the bread acting ceremoniously as a wrap, but it's really nice to get a sandwich where the bread contributes equally. all that to say, the toasted sesame loaf made me v happy and it was interesting that they make it with three slices of bread. the sesame taste comes through so well that it reminded me of having sesame jianbing. as of this post, $9ish for a small (6 in) and $12 for a large (12 in). no clue why someone would get the small... I personally couldn't afford it. would come back and would recommend to someone if they were in the area and wanted a sandwich. plenty of parking.

Fresh side salad, nice homemade dressings and good crispy crust on both of the pizzas we ordered. I also had the spaghetti and meatballs which was good but I would've liked more sauce. Nice family owned business & parking lot access for the area of Altadena/Pasadena CA area. Mid range pricing for portions.

If they had happy hour my friend would never leave lol

Fabulous sandwiches and pizza. Excellent customer service and made fresh! They must have new staff cause I came back off the burnt food a year later and yeah nothing but good reviews...

    Pastrami Alla Pietros Hot Subs
    MarVy S.

Pietro's is an Italian Restaurant that serves pizza, salad, pasta, and sandwiches. ::Food:: My favorite is their famous Hoagie cold sandwich! It has salami, mortadella, salami cotto, lettuce, mayonnaise, tomato, pepperoncini, and provolone cheese. I recently tried the hot Pastrami Alla Pietros which is served in a loaf of toasted bread with pastrami, mustard, and pickles. The bread is not always fresh, unfortunately. I got a sandwich that had an odd perfume taste and the bread was dry. We also ordered pizza but they forgot to add all the toppings. ::Customer Service:: Friendly staff ::Highlight:: The Hoagie! ::M's Notes:: -Parking lot and street parking -Indoor dining only

I have never heard of PSP in Pasadena until now. I can't unknow it because their pizza is the BEST! I had to pay them a visit so here I am on a weekday. They had a good crowd of customers who had already ordered. I got lucky as I was the only person in line. I knew exactly which slices I wanted... one Vegan Square and one The Fancy Prince. I was also curious about the Green Machine. All other pizza flavors look so enticing, too. Kai, the lady who helped me with my order, was super friendly and hospitable. She offered me the Green Machine on the house so I can try it. Now that is a big beautiful welcome. Thank you so much Kai for the green treat! All 3 slices were SO DIVINE! Vegan Square has a thick, crispy Sicilian-style crust with creamy vegan cheese and their signature sweet marinara sauce... SO YUMMY! The Fancy Prince comes with a blend of fresh mozzarella, shredded mozzarella, ricotta, Pecorino Romano, and fresh garlic... this is my ABSOLUTE favorite! If you like savory, pesto-based vegetarian pizza topped with fresh mushrooms, garlic, smoked mozzarella, whipped ricotta, and Pecorino Romano, you must try the Green Machine... SO SAVORY! Please note each slice ranges from $6+ and up. As for the whole pie, it's around $30 to $40+ depending on flavor. Their specialty is PIZZA by the slice or pie, but they do have limited salads, sides, desserts, and drinks as well. Highly recommend this pizza joint! There were an abundance of ready made slices to select. Per the staff, they have vegan cheese options for whole pizzas, but none for ready made slices. Just as an FYI. They also offer a number of sandwiches as well. The number of items is vast and of great variety. Now for the pizza. The selection was a mix NY slices and square slices. I was looking for some to go. So I decided on the squares cause I love those slices! I went with Pepperoni Grandma and a Pepperoni Honey DeNiro. The staff will heat it up for you on the oven and even cut slices in half to enjoy them. I loved the flavors and the crisp edges. It had a great crunch in each bite and taste was solid. My favorite of the too was the Pepperoni Honey DeNiro. The hot honey on this slice made this option stand out to me. The mix of sweet and savory paired with heat is my kind of combo of flavor. :) I would come back again if I'm craving pizza and would think of the trying a sandwich too in the future because their menu looked good. They refuse to do call in orders ONLY for their pizza by-the-Slice... even in combination with other elements. My group orders... 1. A chicken parm sandwich! The charred breadcrumb topping added the perfect crunch, and the portion size was ideal for two adults. It had that perfect cheese pull--and then some. 5/5 - Pepperoni Pizza (with added sausage) The pizza was excellent. I loved that we could add sausage, and the crust was amazingly light. My partner likes dipping pizza in ranch, and the crust (especially the edge) was perfect for that. If you're not a fan of overly saucy pizza, this is definitely for you--the sauce doesn't overpower the sausage or pepperoni. The cheese was evenly distributed, so every bite felt balanced. 3/5 - Broccolini The broccolini was just okay. I liked the char and the slight smoky flavor, along with the hint of lemon and cheese on top. However, I wish it had been blanched a bit more, as it was crunchier than I prefer. The tops were slightly over-charred for my taste, and the texture didn't quite come together. You order before being seated, which is a bit different, and then it's open seating--bar seats, booths, or tables depending on your preference. We chose a corner booth since there was a birthday party in the center of the restaurant. The space can comfortably accommodate groups of 5-10 people. One thing to note (not the restaurant's fault) is that there were children running around quite a bit, which made it feel a little chaotic at times. Since there aren't any activities or designated areas for kids, it would be nice if parents were a bit more mindful so everyone can enjoy their dining experience. The servers were extremely nice and attentive, especially when it came to refilling drinks. You may need to check in with them for things like to-go boxes, but overall the service was solid.
