I got the charcuterie salad (half size) for myself and found it the perfect size. If I were sharing, I think the full size would be a better option. I didn't even know there was a CPK here! A bunch of us were having dinner before a meeting. Some parked in their lot and got validated. I walked a few blocks so I don't know how much parking was. We were seated right away. I had the Thai Crunch salad which was delicious. The only problem I had was that one of the servers kept walking by and was wearing WAY too strong cologne. So I'd get a breeze of it every time passed by. Granted that my nose is sensitive. But cologne is not appetizing in a restaurant BY AN EMPLOYEE WHO SHOULD KNOW BETTER! I mentioned it to the manager. There is a parking structure, I think its called "Plaza de Fuentes". The first 90 minutes free with a restaurant validation. As I walked in, the host greeted me and asked for my parking ticket for validation. I got sat and waited for my friend to arrive. I've been dining at CPK over the past 20 years and things change. I'm not sure, but the bread pieces and size are getting smaller each time I come to the restaurants. The restaurant was quiet, and had few diners when I arrived. By the time I left, there were more diners enjoying the happy hour menu. I ordered some items from the happy hour menu for my friend who was joining me after her work shift. The happy hour items came out super fast, faster than my actual order of garlic cream sauce pasta with chicken! As the items were sitting there, getting cold, I could tell our server, Britt, was getting a little worried that the quality of food would diminish. She kept wondering when my friend was going to show up. I assured her that it's okay, and we understand. I appreciated her commitment to ensure the food quality was great upon consumption. She even offered to heat it up for us. That's great service. Also, when paying for the check, she noticed the pricing didn't match the happy hour prices. It seems to function like a chatbot, which actually makes things quick and easy -- especially if you're a creature of habit and tend to order the same thing. My order is always ready on time, the staff is friendly, and the food presentation is consistently good. I'd say the biggest downside is the bread. I remember when they used to serve a generous, satisfying piece. Lately, it's been a small, underwhelming portion. Granted, I haven't eaten here in multiple years but tonights experience was so disappointing and I don't think I will be adding this place back in my rotation. I ordered delivery, they forgot my drink, my avocado egg rolls were dried out and had maybe 1 tiny piece of avocado per roll. Not how I remember at all! Even the ranch which I used to want to drink tastes different! The spinach artichoke dip had a weird shiny ltexture and my tequila lime chicken pasta was ok, but sauce was a bit watery, lacking the creamy texture I was craving! It's been decades since I've last been to a CPK but time limitations brought us here with my senior aunt. She suggested this place since it was 2 blocks away. The person helping our table, Alex, was particularly unprofessional. It's nice they do parking validation, just make sure to park at the east West Bank underground parking lot area reserved for the restaurants. The wait was surprising but eventually we got seated. The pizzas were really nice, we also had pasta, but I really enjoyed mine a lot more because it was super savory. Overall nice place, we came here for a birthday deal so it's an entree off. The pizza was okay; I remember liking it more in the past, but this time the crust was a little hard and dry. They also give you free bread with olive oil and vinegar, and I really liked that dip. The food here is soooo hearty and soooo good! I got the full size BBLT sandwich with the tomato bisque soup, and my husband got the full size club sandwich with the tomato bisque. Service was fast and friendly!! It's also very nice in here. Also, just an FYI register to be a rewards member and they give you a free starter (appetizer). Food has always been great. My problem has always been with service. I arrived today 9/5/2026 at 7 pm. I asked the host what will be quicker, outside or inside? He said patio. I waited and saw a couple with a dog who arrived ed behind us without a reservation. They sat them in the patio first. No big deal since they had a dog with them. A party of 7 arrived afterwards. I was listening and they did not have a reservation. They sat them at the patio section. 2 other couples arrived afterwards were sat down inside before us. Rather than making a big deal, I left. The host at the booth and old man hostess were disorganized. The old man hostess speaks in a professional manner but in a rude way. Haven't been here for ages. Rushed in last minute to claim a email promotion that was giving us a lot of trouble and frustration on their app and online system. Even though their kitchen was closing down, Edwin went out of his way to get our promotion redeemed and our order put together perfectly. He also helped us add two take and bake pizzas for $9 each. Really saved us so much hassle. Had the garlic cream alfredo pasta which was creamy and delicious. Had to add on chicken and mushrooms to make it complete but well worth it. Hubby had his usual cedar plank salmon and it was cooked perfectly. The take and bakes were delicious at home the next day. The food came and was hot and fresh. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi Zucchini. It looked and tasted good, but there was a lot of pasta water on the bottom of my bowl. My guest ordered a Thai chicken pasta dish; which she said tasted a bit off from what it should taste like. Service was o.k. But a bit slow, as our server had other tables to handle. I ordered a Take n' Back pizza; which the server did not place the order. We had to wait for it to be prepared. Cons: The Pizza dough is not risen when baked. I'm really surprised this location isn't rated higher, as I truly can't say enough great things about it. Every time I come here, the food is fresh and delicious. The staff are incredibly kind and really go out of their way to take care of everyone. They are also really accommodating with substitutions - ie, making a pizza vegetarian. The waiter came to take our order and we saw him again when he brought the check. The kids pizza was cold and not cooked well, the spinach dip was a funky color and garlic heavy just like the kung pao noodles, there were huge chunks of it. But by far the worst one was the burger, the potatoes was hard as a rock and dry, the burger was cold, the cheese on there was cold and they didn't even ask how I wanted it to be cooked. Great location for having a family gathering to celebrate after a wedding rehearsal. We got our own room and our own server who was REALLY great. He checked on us often and we always had the buffet table replenished. The different pizzas were yummy and the two pasta dishes were yummy as well. The spicy pasta was my favorite amonst the two. We had a catering order and picked it up around 11:30 AM today. When we arrived at the office, we realized we had received the wrong order, we got a chicken piccata instead of salmon. We immediately called CPK Pasadena and they handled the situation right away. Not only did they replace the order, but they also delivered it to our office free of charge. What truly surprised us was that we expected to receive just the salmon replacement, but they went above and beyond by including the pasta as well. We hosted a birthday party here, and the staff was very helpful during the initial planning process. However, the experience fell short once we arrived. We expected everything to be set up and ready at the scheduled time, but instead we were handed a bag of aprons and hats and had to distribute them ourselves. Additionally, we never received the chef coat that was promised. The on-site manager told us he would order one and that we could pick it up within a week. When we called a week later, another manager said there was no record of it and promised a callback that never came.
