    18" Margherita

Whenever we visit our cousins in Brooklyn, the first place we order food from in Pizza Daddy. We came into Bensonhurst last night and immediately reached for the phone to order. We got two pizzas, Margherita and traditional and a rice ball. The dough is soft and yet crunchy and so light. The sauce is sweet and the cheese is fantastic. Pizza Daddy for life baby!

    Cheese calzone

The calzone, chicken rustico hero and hangar steak hero from Pizza Daddy were delicious! Other places need to get on the same level of bread that this place uses because it is the best for a proper hero. Cannot beat the brick oven bread! The calzone was full of mozz and ricotta and the chicken rustico was loaded with grilled chicken, portobello mushrooms and provolone. The hangar steak hero was so flavorful and had plenty of steak, sauteed onions and mozz. Not one complaint at all about any of these items. Recommended for sure.

Amazing pizza! The crust was so thin & crispy. We got 4 slices: cheese, bbq chicken, supreme veggie & margarita Our fav was the bbq chicken & margarita. We will definitely be back & try the other topping slices!

BBQ chicken pizzette (12") and garlic knots

Decent option if you happen to be craving pizza in the Bay Parkway area. I stopped by to pick up an online order of BBQ Chicken Pizzette (12") and Garlic Knots. Service was efficient as my order was ready to go by the time I arrived. If you are interested in dining in, this spot has window seating the front and table seating in the back. In terms of the food, the BBQ Chicken Pizzette was savory and delicious, and a good option for those who may be allergic to tomato-based sauces. The Garlic Knots had a strong garlic smell and taste to them without being overwhelmingly salty.

ANTONIO!!! MY GOODNESS!!! Your decision for me to order the Chicken Rustico wrap was a BLESSING to my taste buds. My goodness. If this Rustico wrap was personified I wouldn't be able to keep my hands to myself. I added bacon to the wrap so... SHORTY WAS HITTING THE SPOT. The pizza slices stayed INCREDIBLY HOT. I don't know what kind of stove magic you used to keep the pizza feeling like grandma took it right out but MAN OH MAN was it fresh. Jokes aside, I just want to express how grateful I am to your pizzaria. We've been served great food for several years and hope that you'll continue doing your best for many more to come. Bless!

Horrible!!!! We have ordered from here before and it was good. But we will never order from here again. We ordered a grandma pie and it was full of huge chunks of onions. We also ordered a regular pie and the crust was terrible very lumpy and uneven. One side was very thick and the other was very thin.

Drove past Pizza Daddy a bunch of times & always wondered how their food tastes due to the nature of their eye catching name. It turns out that their food was exceptional. I ordered the Penne A'la vodka with grilled chicken which was super fresh. You can taste that the chicken had just came off the grill. YUM We sat upstairs which was comfy & had the servers deliver our food to us once it was ready. Don't have any complaints about this place :)

    Half pepperoni, half Buffalo chicken.

Pizzas here are not the best that I have tasted. It is alright. And, the staff serving seem to hate their jobs. I can't blame them.

The only tough things to consider while ordering from here was the staff had a hard time understanding orders between my friend and I. The sandwiches from here does take a while to come out as they're making it from scratch - so be prepared for a semi long wait. We both ordered different items - a Philly cheesesteak and a chicken cutlet sandwich with a side of fries. This place has a good assortment of deli items and snacks to sell with a narrow hall. The hardest part from our experience was both the chef and the cashier had a tough time getting our food orders correct. My friend got a Philly cheesesteak but both of them added an order of fries with her sandwich when she didn't get one. Mine was the chicken cutlet sandwich with the fries but the cashier was about to ring up my order and almost mistakenly stated it was the Philly Cheesesteak (almost got charged the extra price for the wrong sandwich). Luckily my friend and I were detail oriented and stopped them before anything was entered. Since the extra side of fries was made, they were nice enough to give my friend this no extra charge. But it was quite painful to correct and shocking on the customer side. Food is still good and didn't have a bad experience once we got to munch on dinner. But definitely check your items and the price charge when ordering from here.

The item was $3, I handed over a $20 and it turns out I was only given $7 dollars in return. Now was it an accident or intentional? I don't know, but it's a lesson learned.

I've eaten MANY Italian heroes all over northern NY & NYC and this has to be the best Ive ever had. This place is well established in the local community and I am sure someone has done a video or segment on TV about this place. The amount of food on a sandwich and the quality of their food is impeccable. No heroes loaded up with tomato and lettuce. Just plenty of the "good stuff". Don't give the prices a 2nd glance as these sandwiches have to weight 4-5 lbs each and a full ( 10"?) hero is plenty for 2 very hungry people. They have over 150 Signature sandwiches named after ( mostly) Italian celebrities. ( Fran Sinatra, Yogi Berra, Sophia Loren, etc) I was very satisfied with these 2: ---#119 EDDIE ARCARDO "Try This Thoroughbred"-- Chicken cutlet, salami, ham, olive oil, basil mix, LIONI FRESH MOZZARELLA, Sun-dried tomatoes, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar ----#P1 THE ROSANNA SCOTTO "You'll Have A Good Day With This One" Ham, Salami, Pepperoni, Soppressata, Fresh Mozzarella, Roasted Peppers OMG! so loaded, so fresh, amazing bread. The subs are always packed with meat and fresh ingredients; the bread is delicious. Their shop also sells traditional Italian breads ($1.50 for an Italian loaf), sides, desserts, and groceries. Ambiance: There is a small table that seats about 6 people in the shop if you want to eat there. The sub shop/counter is in the back, and the front is a small grocery store with Italian products. I ordered the Journey to Baku salad, the Turkish bread, and the Guru Khingal. The salad needed a pinch of salt, but there was a shaker on the table and with that addition, it was a decent refreshing appetizer. It's sort of a spread so I would recommend ordering some bread to eat with it. The bread came out steaming hot and smelling amazing. It was soft and fluffy on the inside and delicious. I took the extra home and ate it all immediately when I got there. Delicious bread. The Guru Khingal is honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten in New York City. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, as I have never eaten this type of food before. The tender, handcut pasta seems to be layered with flavorful lamb fat like the most decadent possible buttered noodles and the ground lamb topping is rich and perfectly seasoned. The yogurt sauce gives the dish balance. It's a fairly large portion that could easily be shared between two. I highly recommend this spot, the glowing reviews are not exaggerating at all. I often like to try new and unusual restaurants, and sometimes I enjoy them mostly for the novelty. That was not the case at Village Cafe. Food: (4/5) - rated New York Times top 100 Best Restaurants in New York City in 2025 Every dish came with a small cup of sour cream / Tzatziki based sauce that went with every dish. This was a must and this was mastered very well. Kutaby with chicken and lamb (4/5) - we ordered one each but the lamb was far superior than the chicken. Guru Hingal (4/5) - served in a warmed bowl with a lid in a bed of soft pasta and minced lamb. The pasta reminded me of chow fun (Chinese rice flat noodles) and then some seasoned minced lamb. While overall there were flavors in there, it was still lacked flavors and required to be drowned in the Tzatziki sauces or perhaps a order of table hot sauce. Finally we got the Lamb Lulya Kebab (5/5): this was by far the best dish of the meal! The meat was so wonderfully seasoned throughout, juicy, and complemented well with the rice, onions, and tomato based dip. The wraps themselves were way too small to enjoy using hands so we definitely reconstructed on our plates and attempts with our hands.
