How on earth have I never tried Pizza Daddy before? I was about to give up on my quest for the perfect rice ball. Other places just couldn't get it right, but Pizza Daddy absolutely nailed it. The peas, meat and rice on the inside was cooked to perfection and the outer part which is the crust of the rice ball combined with the amazing tomato sauce, ricotta and mozzarella cheese was heavenly and brought back happy childhood memories. With each bite, you can tell that love and high quality ingredients are used. We also ordered a vodka cheese pizzetta, which is a mini version of the regular size pie and is ideal for two people. Ordered the pizza daddy for take out. Everything was ready by the time I arrived. The pie looked amazing and tasted great. Crust was still crispy even after a 15 minute drive. The calzone, chicken rustico hero and hangar steak hero from Pizza Daddy were delicious! Other places need to get on the same level of bread that this place uses because it is the best for a proper hero. Cannot beat the brick oven bread! The calzone was full of mozz and ricotta and the chicken rustico was loaded with grilled chicken, portobello mushrooms and provolone. Got here moments before closing 9:50 pm. Ordered the last Sicilian slice they had. Got my pizza in a bag, and left to my car that was on the corner. Opened the bag after sitting in the car, and my pizza was street cold. I had a couple of morning meetings at schools in the neighborhood and was hungry when they were over. I saw this place on my way to the BQE and stopped in for a couple of slices. When I walked in, shortly after Noon, it looked like they had just opened, as the place was dark with no customers. But, they were indeed open and ready to serve. I picked up a couple of slices to eat outside, since it was such a beautiful Autumn day. The slices were good, not great, but good. They were a bit smaller than I'm used to seeing, perhaps another COVID victim. The cheese to sauce ratio was fine. I just got the feeling there was somewhat too much oil on them, as the slices had that kind of aftertaste. I would return next time I'm around the area. read more

My mom loves this place ! It can't get any fresher than this, they pride themselves on fresh pizza and they always deliver what they promise ! I have no idea why people are leaving horrible reviews. They are know for their buffalo chicken pizza and it is a must get! My favorite part of pizza daddy is their crust! Ugh it is to die for and I am a pizza fanatic. A large half buffalo chicken and half pepperoni will be around 22$, I believe this is a pretty average price so no complaints about the price either ! read more

Drove past Pizza Daddy a bunch of times & always wondered how their food tastes due to the nature of their eye catching name. It turns out that their food was exceptional. I ordered the Penne A'la vodka with grilled chicken which was super fresh. You can taste that the chicken had just came off the grill. Literally, the worse customer service! I called to have a slice of pizza for pick up order. I work around the corner and couldn't leave my desk for very long. So I plan on grabbing the pizza quickly and rushing back to work. To my surprise the person who picked up the phone told me he WOULDN'T put my pizza to get heated in the oven because it's just a slice and I would have to wait for it to be heated when I arrived. Wow. That literally took me my surprise. That was horrible customer service, you just lost a customer due to their ignorance for not treating customers like customers. I purchase food from a pizza restaurant down the street and they gladly had my pizza warmed and ready when I got there. This place really need to rethink their strategy about customer service. Update: 2 mins after the sentence above was posted, a worker decided to yell at me while I was still standing there. I come here every now and then to know that the "food is not microwaved." My one star came after that unnecessary comment when I asked how much longer our food would take. Don't promise 20 mins when it cannot be fulfilled; tell me 40 and I would've waited somewhere else. I live across the street and around the corner from this pizzaria. It opened up a couple of weeks ago and I've been eyeing it and meaning to check it out ever since but never really got around to it until today. What a shame because this place is awesome! The decore is very modern, clean, and pretty. There is a sitting area in a slightly elevated half of the restaurant. It looked nice and spacious but I was here to get something for dinner. When I first walked in the guy behind the counter greeted me and was very friendly. I took a menu and was looking it over. He offered to explain anything and told me that their special was a homemade lasagna which he would recommend as it was delicious with fresh mozarella and mini meatballs. It sounded too good to pass by, so that's what I got along with a large iced coffee. The lasagna (you can see my picture!) was as good as described. It took a bit of time and it was clear that it was made fresh. No regrets at all as it was amazing. Other things of note: they have a good selection on their menu in addition to just pizza and pasta: there are paninis, salads, calamari, buffalo wings, burger, wraps, and rolls. There was also this ceasar salad pizza that was sitting on the counter looking really tempting. Also they have Hale&Hearty soups (New England Clam Chowder! I don't know anywhere else in the neighborhood that has that!). So five stars because I support new businesses and this place has friendly employees, a good selection, and a clean and neat decore. Attractive, red-hued space with window bar-style seating and an elevated dining area, contemporary mosaic accents. Traditional order counter, pizzas on display behind glass. The igloo-like ovens are not traditionally looking nor obviously brick. Distinct cartoon logo and goofy name somewhat mismatched with the place. We ordered a pie topped with fresh mozzarella, basil, and tomatoes. Fifteen minutes later, we got the fresh pie and toted it down the block to try. Thin-crust, texture reminds me a bit of cornmeal but it isn't, just enough toppings to accent, good taste. Would prefer crispier crust. A solid pizza, and better than everything else in the neighborhood, besides Spumoni and haven't tried Europa's version. Not destination good, but an excellent addition to the neighborhood. Will update when they roll out the rest of their menu and have some time to warm up. read more

Place is clean and cozy. We got here by 7pm. Have luck trying to find a parking spot if coming by car. Must have been a busy night. We ordered take out that was fast, and ate it in the car. I love a good decent Brooklyn pizza, however, Pizza Daddy didn't do it for me. I still think Di Fara's has the best pizza in the borough of Brooklyn. I heard L&B Spumoni is great too, but I haven't eaten there so I can't agree yet (until I try it). Pizza Daddy markets their pizzas as "brick oven", but I really did not taste the "brick oven" flavor. I was very disappointed. If you want brick oven pizzas, travel to Manhattan and visit Adrienne's Pizza Bar (that is the epitome of what a brick oven pizza should be). I understand that it is a recession, and businesses have to be a bit stingy. But don't be that stingy. The pizza did not have enough mozarella cheese and tomato sauce on it. You can't miss the animated signage outside. The branding is clever, the display is clean, well-lit, and plentiful, but at the end of the day every specialty slice tastes like an interpretation. When you're in Brooklyn, you especially want a smothered hearty slice which when you take a bite, has unmistakable flavor. Here the ingredients are held back; a light smattering of buffalo sauce, small diced chicken and dainty scallions adorn the surface for example. If your slice isn't dressed enough to mop up the extra rolling off with a piece of crust, there is something wrong. Nevertheless, priced reasonably at $3.50 for a special or $2.75 for a Neapolitan you get a decent slice with upscale ambiance.
