Howdy everybody!! Had to stop by here for a nice coffee break and good bite after getting smacked in the face with something so delicious. Place is really cozy and reminds me of home. Especially with the Pac-Man machine. Employees are all very nice and on point with ordering. I ended up getting the steak flank wrap, garlic truffle fries and the Nutella latte. Latte was definitely refreshing after walking around for bit in the warm sun. Garlic truffle fires were so crispy and were packing a lot of heat with the garlic and Parmesan cheese on it. Beautiful cozy calm great service excellent food. I try new ones everytime (been coming for 20 years). This one I tried today was excellent it was the p12 mortadella with goat cheese arugula and mayo! Everything panini always. My husband is a p50 always . Glad this location has the fries now. Very cool little place in Bay Ridge! We decided to stop after a walk along Shore Rd for a light lunch. Love to see a place like this in an ever changing neighborhood. Went with a Proscuitto and fresh mozzarella panini with pesto and tomato. You got to choose the everything panini bread and when its toasted it adds that much more flavor. It was good and got the job done for lunch. I will add that its a bit pricey though with the panini and drink coming to $20 but in reality eating out is expensive these days anyway. I happen to love Panino in bensonhurst. Well, i did up until mayb a year ago. I still go because the food is delicious. My issue is the price. It's extremely expensive and any little thing you add on has a price and u don't even get a full amount. I would be there a few times a week instead of twice a month if the prices were better and lately the service is extra slow only when the Boss is not there and that's a shame. I ordered 26, grilled chicken with avocado & goat cheese, with everything panini. The panini itself was really good, but the chicken was a bit dry. My friend ordered 38 which was really good. I also ordered the nutella latte which is on the sweeter side of coffees and it was good. The mocha latte is a little less sweet compared to the nutella latte and was also really good. My group didn't have to wait and was seated immediately. Parking around the area is a little tough though as it's residential. Servers were very sweet. There are many tables that could sit 2-6. I was craving crepes and saw that this was the closest spot that sells them. I wasn't even planning on ordering a panini but good thing I did. The crepe was okay, but that's not something easy to mess up. Let's get back to the panini. Ordered a P50. Steak, pepper jack, yellow cheese, bacon, red onion, and chipotle mayo, and it came with a side of potato salad (which i think you only get when you dine in). I loved how it had the perfect crunch! I've been wanting to try the Paninis from here and finally got to. The picture attached is actually from my 2nd visit since I forgot to take a picture on my first visit. On my first visit, I ordered a chicken panini (forgot which one specifically). I felt out crunchy the outside of the panini was that I got too excited and forgot to take a picture, and after 1 bite I didn't stop till it was all gone. The sandwich was sooo good, perfect taste, perfect texture, perfect proportions of everything. The very next day I had to try another panini just to be sure that other items were good as well. On my second visit, I ordered a P33 (Hot pastrami, swiss cheese (but I switched it out for pepper jack instead), mustard, and pickles) to go. The reason why I chose pastrami was because I'm very picky when it comes to pastrami and figured this would be a miss. But I was wrong, this was also so good! Thankful for local spots staying open and feeding us in this pandemic. Truly Grateful. We must have drove by this spot so many times but never got food from here. My only guess is - while working in the city - panini spots are a dime a dozen, and I usually pick up dinner in the city. COVID changed the way we live, the way we eat and where to eat. Had the opportunity to try a few paninis here and it was a hit for my family. Really love their roast chicken & broccoli rabe, porchetta & broccoli rabe (both reminds me so much of the Dinic roast pork & broccoli rabe sandwich in the Reading Terminal Market in Philly). Make it EXTRA - add the "everything" panini!!! - it's like a jar of the Trader Joe's everything but the bagel seasoning! So good!!! My kids love the chicken & bacon, and anything with prosciutto in it! We have this place on our dinner rotation when we just want something quick for dinner. Always a treat when I stop by for a panini! The prices are a bit expensive but it makes up for it in that the portions are quite big and the ingredients taste fresh. I personally love getting any of their paninis with prosciutto. Also it's a MUST to get it on an everything bagel ($1 more). The bread is on the salty side but still worth it! Also, they don't skimp on the portions - each sandwich is more than enough to share between 2 people. I stopped by to order a few paninis to go (P20, P35, P48), and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in providing recommendations. Been coming here since middle school and the quality is just as good if not better! Dined in for a quick lunch, ordered P38 and P24 - both were delicious! P38 had chicken, avocado, bacon and honey mustard - a great combo. The P24 had prosciutto, mozzarella, sun dried tomato and fresh basil, the flavors worked well but was a bit salty for my taste. The food has always been amazing and most of the workers are friendly and very accommodating. Just make sure that you check your receipt (if you order delivery) and want to add a tip. This has happened to me so many times with them!! I place the order over the phone, tell them to ADD THE TIP to my credit card and they always "yes" me to death instead of adding the damn tip! so the poor delivery guy gets no tip. Definitely a hidden gem in Bensonhurst. Our table of three arrived on a Saturday around 11 AM and luckily was seated with minimal wait time. Although their menu focuses on panini's, they do offer a variety of breakfast foods and crepes. I ordered a P15 - Mozzarella with tomato, fresh basil and extra virgin olive oil ($6.99). The food was delicious and definitely lives up to the high praises previous yelp reviews provided. The bread had just the right amount of crispiness and the ingredients tasted very fresh. Our waitress came around several times to check up on us and to ensure everything was to our liking. Only downside I experienced was feeling a bit rushed towards the end, but understandable because it was starting to get crowded. If I could give this place 0 stars I would, never ordering from here ever again. Ordered for takeout P38 (Grilled chicken panini with fontina cheese, hot cherry peppers, avocado and bacon) and W3 (grilled eggplant wrap). It's become clear not only does no one follow instructions, they also do not know how to cook. The eggplant wrap was drowned in balsamic vinegar which has specifications to opt it out from the wrap it was not even edible. The P38 panini, the chicken was raw, pink and cold to the touch. The first 2 bites I had seemed fine, until the 3rd bite I come face to face with a raw, cold, pink piece of chicken. Immediately I went to spit it out and ran to the bathroom to try to vomit. Serving raw chicken to your customers is disgusting, high health and safety issue. What if I was pregnant? This happened once in the past and still decided to give this establishment a chance. What a big mistake. Order with caution, or go elsewhere. Overpriced and expect to receive a special food poisoning to your meal. Hard pass, should be ashamed. read more
