Can't go wrong here. We order delivery a LOT. Always get the olives and bread ends. Nice to sit outside now that the weather is nice! I almost always get the E9. The A5 is also a winner. I always get p18 which is one of their most popular items, but I can never finish a whole panini and it doesn't taste good when I reheat it the next day! They have an alfresco area during the warmer days. So I actually filmed a little short for a school assignment in their outdoor seating area once, and they were so nice about it and accommodating! A lot of my friends have raved about this place and I finally got the chance to try it out. I'm not really a panini fanatic, nor do I claim to be, but I know when food is prepared well and that counts for something right? First off before anything else, this place has got a great cafe-like vibe. Very homey and comforting for a casual lunch or a coffee, but at the same time the warm feeling you get here is also good for a date. They have a pretty extensive menu for panini sandwiches but I had this gut feeling that I can't go wrong with any of them so I decided to go for P20 and P24. The paninis were pressed and toasted to perfection with just a slight char. The P24 has imported prosciutto with smoked mozzarella, basil, and sun dried tomatoes all of which were very fresh and complimented each other very well. But my favorite of the 2 has to be P20 which has the grilled chicken, basil pesto, mozzarella, and roasted red peppers. I could be biased though cause I love pesto, but who doesn't?? After this first experience with paninis I now have a better understanding of what a great panini should be. Its not about having a multitude of overwhelming flavors. It's about having an outstanding Italian bread that can be great as a stand-alone, paired with high quality ingredients that complement each other with similar dimensions for that perfect bite. Honestly so blessed to live near Panino Rustico :) the service here is awesome. One time, they made my Nutella latte way too sweet but they helped me fix without a problem. I probably wouldn't get this again though because they literally drowned it with Nutella. My go-to here used to be the P18 with pesto, mozzarella and prosciutto until I discovered the P16 with smoked salmon, avocado, onions and goat cheese. Be sure to ask what they recommend - that's how we got suckered into dessert - the apple crepe that tasted like a warm apple pie, with vanilla bean ice cream on top. You can totally share this, and the portion is more than fair; same goes for their soups. Sound outs to the beef barley! Nice, thick broth, and the veggies melt in your mouth; excellent! The panini was amazing! I am huge on toasted bread, but not so much on deli meats, but to my surprise, it was far better than I expected. We ordered P12, P20, and P35, and P35 was by far the best of the 3. P35 had turkey, bacon, avocado, and the basil dressing. Usually, I'm not a fan of turkey meat, but I was blown away by how well the layers went together. The basil dressing was wonderful and when paired with the avocado, it moistened the turkey and melted in my mouth, creating a really smooth and pleasant texture. The crisped bacon provided a contrast in textures--and honestly, bacon makes everything taste better. If the panini was 2% insufficient before the bacon, the bacon completed the deal and kicked it up a notch. It was definitely one that I would make the commute to Brooklyn for again and again! The other 2 we ordered was alright, but definitely lacking in comparison to P35. The goat cheese in P12 was not to my liking, but goat cheese is one of those ingredients that is an acquired taste. The sun-dried tomatoes were really fragrant--by scent alone, P20 was definitely a winner, but for me, it wasn't enough to pull the entire sandwich together and elevate it the same way P35 was elevated. This is my absolute favorite place for healthy salads and paninis, I love the P20 and their veggie panini is absolutely delicious. The food is always fresh. The service depends on the day and the time. The service depends on the staff of the day. Some of the ladies working there are a bit rude but some are very nice and efficient. The food is outstanding and always fresh!!! My only recommendation is to train the staff a little better. They seem to get overwhelmed between the phone orders and the patrons waiting to be served. At times it seems that they pay more attention to the phone orders... however, they have hired more staff which is nice. The ladies working there are very young and some do not have too much experience in the restaurant service industry. If you decide to try this place, please have that in mind. Delicious paninis! It's a small cafe located in an Italian residential area and I could definitely feel the Italian vibes once I entered the place haha. Service was very nice. The waiters constantly went around asking diners if they needed anything. There was also a guy who forgot his CD's on the table and one of the waiters actually went outside to chase after him to give them back to him! I got the Panini with grilled chicken, mozzarella, peppers, arugala, and pesto and thought it tasted amazing! All of the ingredients complimented each other really well and the bread was not too tough to chew on. It's about $10 for one panini but it's definitely possible to split it into two meals so the price is not that unreasonable. This place sort of reminds me of Lioni's Italian Heroes (which is close by...) because the sandwiches are so good! Definitely recommended if you're in the area! read more

Walked in today since this place was chilling in my bookmarks for a while, and since it's close by I figured why not? Soo glad that I came in to finally try this place since I know that this won't be another place that I'm crossing off my bookmarks and forgetting. Although they are well known for their paninis, don't hesitate to get their savory crepe. It truly is SAVORY & cheaper ;). I ordered the last one down the list (fontina, turkey, basil sauce) and from start to finish it was delicious. These crepes are shaped like a rectangle as opposed to some cylindrical ones that you might see/eat. From the outer crisp corners, you can taste how delicious the batter is. From the middle, you can taste generous chunks of turkey and cheese. The basil sauce they put on top is lip licking good & I wouldn't mind if they did a few more squiggles of that on my crepe. I also had a bite of my boyfriend's panini (proscuitto, mozz, tomato & basil pesto sauce). It was a great panini, but I still prefer my crepe over his. Also had 1.25 mini canoli's to finish off and they were great. P.S. I think the online menu prices might be cheaper than what it actually is. I usually order on Uber Eats, unfortunately, the staff is not very great at communicating. Panino uses their own delivery people and I have written multiple times on my order to leave it at the door when delivered. I have even left my phone number in the instructions if needed. However, they never give this information to the delivery person and they come knocking on my door when they arrive. Only one time has a delivery person called, however, he blamed it on me when I didn't answer him knocking for "6 minutes". I live on the second floor and I just had surgery on my knee. I have to use crutches in order to go downstairs to the front door. This surgery coupled with COVID is why I ask the order to be left at the front door. I ordered earlier today (6/30/21) and once again the delivery person was knocking when he arrived. I had to hobble quickly down the stairs in order to meet him. To add to it, the delivery person did not have his mask on fully (lowered and exposing his nose). I have called multiple times since UberEats has told me to speak with the merchant for a resolution. The group at the restaurant always tell me every time I call "the manager is not in". They give you the loop around and avoid you. In a COVID time and for the general safety of your customers, communication would be nice to have. read more

Short and sweet... The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Panino Rustico is fresh. This place has some of the freshest sandwiches around. I have tried one of their chicken sandwiches and one of their prosciutto sandwiches. The best thing you can do is order a side of pesto sauce to accompany any sandwich! Panino is always our default when we're ordering at work (usually once or twice a week). I've tried several things from their menu and my current favorite is P47 (grilled chicken, American yellow cheese, pepper-jack cheese, bacon, red onion, and chipotle mayonnaise).
