Thanks to the recommendation from a friend, I'm finally trying the joint. The server at the bar immediately assisted by taking our order. My desire to want the Mahi Mahi burger prompted her to suggest a burger not on the (quote unquote) regular menu...The Salmon Burger. Fresh dill. House tartar. Fresh spinach. Steak tomatoes. And I substituted the wheat bun for a wheat pita. The parental ordered the Pesto Pizza while the juvenile ordered a Steak Philly. While waiting for our order, I inquired about wine choices. No Moscato, but the server politely suggested their house Sangria and provided a generous portion for my sampling pleasure. Needless to say, I ordered a glass while we waited (my glass was filled to the rim). Very tasty and recommended. Additionally, the server was nice enough to throw in some fresh tomatoes and sliced cucumbers. Crisp and refreshing. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We even shared the cucumbers with the barker, which he thoroughly enjoyed as well. While I can only speak to the service at the Gilbert location, I'd definitely return and recommend Pita Jungle. The food was great. It's always good at this location! But i want to give a shout out to my server, her name is Adrian. This afternoon she was amazing, she was probably the only staff member outside the kitchen that I never once saw standing and chatting at the bar with coworkers. Our drinks were always full, empty plates removed from the table and my picky kids didn't seem to bug her. We usually have good service, but the chick was awesome. read more

I love this restaurant. Staff is friendly, restaurant is clean & it's always hopping. I go as often as I can & order the gazpacho. What I love is that it's always a hair different each time I order it. That tells me it's always fresh and and is at the whim of the chef that day. One time it had watermelon in it. My only gripe is that they don't carry this soup year round. I don't think it's popular because people hear cold soup & assume it's not great. But it is. The service out-did the food here. Our waitress was very nice and personable, however the food was subpar. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate with a side of pita and hummus. Keep your eyes open when eating Pitas from Pita Jungle. Just received an order through Door Dash and the two Pitas that I received with my Hummus order were moldy. It really kills your appetite when this is the first thing you see and you're about to dig into a meal. I also typically love their Mahi dish, but this serving was dry and over cooked. We hosted my son and daughter-in-laws rehearsal dinner at Pita Jungle this past Tuesday. The waiters and staff were very attentive. Due to our large party of 30 it took a while to make room for all of us. Daniela and the other waiter (I didn't catch his name), really took care of us. Our food was brought out quickly, everyone's order arrived as requested, and drinks were refilled when necessary. The food was delicious. Pita has so many different options that it made it easy to accommodate so many people. We had previously met Daniela when we asked to reserve the date. She is an amazing waitress. I placed an order for 2 gyro for pickup. When I arrived, there were 2 other customers who showed up at the same time. There was no one handling pickup orders and they seemed perplexed that we were even there. I should have taken that strange interaction as a sign, but I got my order, paid and left. When I got home I discovered that I had the wrong order. I did not have 2 gyros. I called and they offered to refund my order. That's the good part that earns them 2 stars instead of zero. Their explanation was that all the sandwiches look the same once they are wrapped, so someone obviously put the wrong ones in my bag. If that's the case then I would think you'd either be extra careful at assembling the correct ones into the correct bags OR you'd change your procedure to somehow make it more obvious for the person putting them in bags... like marking them with a sharpie or a sticker. It clearly wasn't the first time this had happened. TLDR: Unorganized & confused staff and yet they sufficiently handled their mistake with a refund. read more

Unexpected quick lunch cause I haven't eaten here in forever. Walked in to a location I'd never visited before. Clean, cool and relatively new. We were immediately seated near the mirror in the back with the pretty wallpaper. We tried three separate items. Our server was a bit hippie but clean? Good service and somewhat fast. My friend suggested PJ and I looked on Yelp to be sure I would have options. She ordered the garlic dip with gf pita for an appetizer. Pita jungle is my favorite restaurant but THIS LOCATION is THE WORST. Their pickup window is always a debacle. Food Is late every time. You get there when food is supposed to be ready. You get to window. Pay. Then they tell you it's not ready. They help next person in line. You wait while people keep showing up. They don't offer to bring it out to you. It's like the person at the window has no short term memory. Maybe they have inadequate training. You end up back through the door at the bar asking for your oder again. It's like you have to wait in line twice. Its absurd that management hasn't figured this one out. Other people do the same and line up at the bar and outside. This happens 4/5 times. Food is bad in comparison to other Pita Jungles. No flavor. Every time I order from this location, I say never again (this is over a period of 3 years). This is the last time. Never again.
