18" Warehouse Pizza (I added the red onion because I'm a crazy onion lady.) The pizza was perfection as is!

Thank you! It's an amazingly perfect, delicious, well crafted, and expertly created pizza! From the fresh ingredients to the sophisticated ingredients that are thoughtfully sprinkled, (the size of the pepperonis....so clever!!!), the delicious sauce, and the airy crust!!! We ate it all! We are now addicted to Pie Life Pizza!

Cute little place tucked away in Pasadena, that's easy to miss if you're not looking. It's located in a little lot with a few other businesses around it and a designated takeout window for Pie Life Pizza (they don't deliver). There's a few chairs and tables outside if you want to eat a slice at the location. We opted to take our pizza home. It had a very satisfying and authentic crust. Definitely can tell food is made with love and care here. Would recommend to anyone looking for some NY style pizza!

Came here during the lunch with a couple of my co workers. The place is quite tucked and hidden. It has their own parking but you also find street parking as well. I ordered the 2 Slice Combo which comes with either a can or bottled drink of your choice. - A Slice of Meaty - A Slice of Warehouse - I also purchased an additional chocolate chip cookie It's a good price for the combo meal! The staff were nice and service was fast. The pizza was delicious! It was rich in flavor but surprisingly light, with a nice crisp crust and just enough cheese to make it satisfying without being overly greasy. Definitely worth the buck!

Lunch Special, one slice of White pizza, garden salad and can drink $14.50.

My wife had her 6 month eye exam in Pasadena. I took this opportunity to have one of my favorite New York style pizza in Southern California. I got their lunch special which is one slice of their White pizza, garden salad and sparkling water for $14.50. I added $1.00 tip. This is a no frills tiny pizza place with only a walk up window to place your order. It's on the second floor overlooking Raymond Avenue. There are metal stools and a bar like table that runs across the entire second floor. Just find a spot, seat down and eat. My White pizza was ready in 5 minutes. Just the way I like it, thin and crunchy. The garden salad was fresh and tasted great. Very satisfying lunch. DJ's rating: 4.85/5.00 Would I come back? Definitely Yes.

It was wonderful to see an old friends and get caught up over with a pie from my favorite local spot. We went during the lunch hour and the smiles were limitless. Next time you are in that neck of the woods...

Ate here twice now. First time stopped by and ate there. Wife and I got a slice each. I got the PB&J, she got pepperoni. We both thought it was very good. But I thought the crust was a little overly crisp for a NY slice. I figured this was because they reheat the individual slices. Still super tasty and good, but not the crust I expected. I wanted to try them again, so a couple days later we ordered a whole pie, pepperoni & jalapeño. This time it was what I was expecting! Crust was great. Nice browning on the bottom, but not crunchy & foldable. Tasty sauce & cheese (although I might get extra cheese next time). Good amount of toppings as well! This is what I expected. Will for sure get them again!

This place has been on my radar for a short time. Today was the day as is every Friday which is pizza day for the family. I stopped by this afternoon at 4:00pm and ordered 1 New York style (cheese) and 1 pepperoni and mushroom for which they also add garlic cloves. These were take out orders and I have a pizza oven at home to heat up slices in under a minute. 1. The New York cheese pizza was absolutely flavorless. I was so hoping for an amazing pizza to no avail. Absolutely zero flavor and I asked my wife how she likes it and she said it doesn't have any taste to it. Pizza Wagon in the valley currently has the best New York Slice in town. Beats everyone even Mulberry street and DaMores, which are also in the valley. 2. Pepperoni, mushroom and garlic pizza also without flavor except for the garlic which was overpowering, so much so that I removed all the cloves from the entire pizza. This pizza had a nice look to it but it does not deliver. If you want pepperoni then it's gotta be Prince Street as their pepperoni is amazing. I can normally eat about 4 slices but tonight I barely ate two as the pizza didn't not lend itself to any pizza desire I had. Will I be returning, I don't think I will. If the owner chimes in I'll bring you a real New York style pizza with real New York Taste

Some excellent NY style pizza! I ordered the margarita and pepperoni slice. The NY slices were super thin and crispy with a satisfying crunch on the crust. The pizza was floppy when folded but still oozing with oil and melted cheese. When you eat it fresh, it is piping hot, so make sure you give it a minute to rest. I also ordered the Sicilian slice--again, the cheese was super stringy and melts in your mouth. The crust was airy and was collapsing with the weight of the toppings, though it still had a nice crunch with every bite. The cupped pepperonis were delicious and zesty. Overall, very high quality ingredients and amazing pizza. The chocolate chip cookie was also yummy, though nothing to write home about. Staff were kind and friendly, and service was quick. I love the location as well--there's ample street parking and a dedicated lot in the strip mall. The seating is outdoors with a long bar stool and counter. There's a really nice of the streets view and it's shaded as you indulge in cheesy goodness. This is a solid slice you'd find on a corner in NYC, meaning this is S-tier for LA standards. Definitely worth a drive out to Pasadena for some great pizza!

Hey Vinnie, get me a slice of pie! Pie Life's Pizza is a great place to get a classic New York style pizza. Thin, crunchy and delicious. The cauliflower crust is nice and crunchy, super cheesy and tastes great. Service quick and attentive, you'll get your pie pretty quick even when it's pretty busy. Ambiance is lively as it's pretty much a walk up window and outdoor seating. This is a solid NY style pizza place for sure!

Random, but excellent wall mural by the seating area. Is Pie Life the GOAT?

One bite, everyone knows the rules. Crowned by Dave Portnoy this year as the "best pizza in Pasadena", Pie Life is a hidden local pizza joint serving NYC-style pizza from a window on Raymond Street, and has been on our short list for some time. Our family ordered a full Pepperoni and Burrata pie ($30) with some olives on one half ($1.50). There is certainly something magical about a NYC pizza fresh and hot from the oven, and Pie Life is no exception. The sauce was excellent, delicate, slightly tangy, and clearly homemade. The burrata was creamy and rich yet not heavy. The pepperoni was salty and cupped upward in the way only the best pepperoni does. After watching Dave's review I was most excited about the crust, but was sadly disappointed. The undercarriage lacked the crispness sought after in NYC slices, with a disappointing amount of flop at the center. The service was friendly and effective. We put our order in by phone and it was ready for us when we arrived. Plates, plastic utensils, and napkins were offered. I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance; while ostensibly a window facing a parking lot, there was a serviceable seating area in the lot outside with tables under a nice mural for a surprisingly chill, LA vibe. The value is good for what you get. The standard NYC pies are 18" and range from $22-36. Each pie is enough for three moderately hungry or two very hungry individuals, or a price tag of around $10-$15/person. For the quality provided, this is reasonable, especially if you can get it hot and fresh. Excellent ingredients, good service, vibes, and value, but slashed short by a surprisingly shaky crust, Pie Life is almost perfect - but not life changing. Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance/Facility: 4/5 Value: 4.5/5

    Floppy pizza slice
    Leslie L.

We created our own pizza for $32.The taste was okay. The pizza was very floppy that the ingredients were coming off ! It was hard to eat because of how soft the dough was. Had to put it in the air fryer when we got home to attempt to make it crisper. Not sure if they have an option to request for a crisper pizza, but this would be helpful to know/be noted in their menu if so. Inside is a pickup window, more of a pick up and go.

I'm always looking for the best pizza wherever I go--if you're looking for the best pizza in Pasadena, I highly recommend trying Pie Life Pizza. (My rating is mainly for the regular cheese slices/pies in order to keep the reviews consistent) Taste: 8.5/10 | The slices had great crust, tangy sauce, and the perfect ratio to make it a quintessential NY style slice Price: 7.5/10 | Currently $4 for a cheese slice; their other slices are around $4.50-$5 and there's always a "slice of the day" Vibe: 7/10 | It's a takeout window with some nice outdoor seating & a parking lot with free parking (a valuable commodity in LA)!

The host and the owner greeted us and after a brief visit to the restroom we were seated at our table on the balcony/terrace. Alex, our waiter greeted us and swiftly brought back 2 glasses of prosecco and water. We comfortably eased into an order of fried smelts and a shared pear salad. Immediately we realized we had found a gem. The food is simple, pure and honest. We imagined a future visiting sitting with an order of these smelts and a few beers watching a proper Serie A Fútbol match. After an impulsive order of fresh pita bread(highly recommended) our main courses arrived. Grilled branzino and the Lamb shank. These dishes elevated to a simple perfection with the complex flavors of dried fruit, almonds and couscous accompanying a confidently prepared lamb. A robust California Cabernet provided the perfect compliment to this old world classic. The branzino was glazed and touched respectfully with lemon and grilled to a perfect gentle shimmer. This is the best fish we've had in years. Clearly a new favorite, we enjoyed a surprise piece of flourless chocolate cake with espresso and cappuccino. Special thanks to this delightful place and their wonderful staff. We look forward to sharing visits in the future with friends and family.

It was a great appetizer consisting of arugula, and goat cheese wrapped in prosciutto, with an impressive large thin sliced piece of Parmesan on top drizzled with a balsamic reduction. Very unique and good, I look forward to replicating at home with a little more balsamic. I ordered the Settebello $21 pizza as a main entree of which I thought was advertised with pancetta, mushrooms and Italian sausage. Pizza came out hot and fresh, but with prosciutto instead of the perceived menu listed pancetta. Pizza sauce was good, the sausage and mushrooms were great. Crust was a little doughy, not crispy but charcoal charred in places. Not phenomenal but not bad, middle of the road overall. Service started off great but fell flat to the floor. Drinks and food came out on time indicating bar staff and kitchen staff were on point. Waiting staff could up their game. No check up or check in. No offers for drink refills or another round. I had to ask for refills on water. Final bill $56.35 for one drink, appetizer and pizza for a solo dinner. Three (3) stars at best! Room for improvements.
