We can't wait to go back on Thursday's for tavern pizza (thin crust sourdough pizza) absolutely delicious and so much flavor. Service is excellent, and mind you this is not your fast food pizza place, quality takes time and effort. You will definitely appreciate it. Nice open space and owner on site and open kitchen.

We saw this cool chill pizza parlor in Echo Park on one of the YouTubers channel that we like to watch. I must say this place was definitely worth the 1 1/2 hour drive in traffic from Orange County. The staff here were so friendly and inviting it felt like a family friendly atmosphere. We ordered the meatballs which was beyond delicious, garlic bread with cream cheese on the side -- amazing, Cesar salad was very good dressing was also very delicate and faint not overpowering like most Cesar dressing which I throughly enjoyed. The Spicearoni pizza was to die for, the sourdough made it extra tasty and the hot honey added the best kick. I would drive here again in traffic, best pizza by far. It is a bit pricey but your taste buds will be happy. Street parking only from what we saw. Highly recommended!
This place was light, spacious and comfortable. Service was friendly, informative, and very kind. They weren't very busy when we came, so it was pretty chill in here. They were playing good, interesting music that you don't usually hear, at a nice volume - enough to enjoy if you wanted and tune out if you didn't. Very welcoming and creative environment, all around. This would be a nice place to hang out with friends and family. They clearly care about their ingredients and their preparations, so the food feels worth what they charge. Swell Tangerine soda was a new one for us and we enjoyed it! Spring Caesar salad - a generous amount of cheese, very finely grated. Didn't have the classic Caesar dressing taste. Watermelon radishes tasted pickled. There was a generous amount of lettuce/spring mix with greens you don't often find in spring mix so I appreciated the variety! I would definitely try their other salads. Pepperoni pizza with added sausage - they use Standing's Butcher's fennel sausage. Excellent sausage flavor with just the right amount of fennel. I'm not normally a sausage fan, but I loved this one. The pepperoni were also nicely flavored. The cheese was great, and the red sauce was a standout! This is my ideal flavored red sauce. The crust was light, thin and had good light flavor. Raclette pizza square - the thicker style crust was excellent. Chewy and flavorful and soft. I really enjoyed the toppings as well! Is definitely try other pizzas here in this style in the future!
Our first time here and it was just what we were looking for. Wallflower was recommended by a friend who owns a local shop and comes regularly. Pizza and Cesar is enough for 3 to share. Metered street parking and plenty of cute shops on the same street to walk around.
This is absolutely the best sourdough pizza in all of Los Angeles! AND, they have a good meatball game as well! AND, cold beers! Wallflour's marinara to cheese ratio down to perfection. Their simple sourdough cheese pizza features a delicious chewy cheese and and perfect crust with a light, airy, and blistered rim. Great ambiance and friendly service as usual!
Pretty good pizza. I like the fact that everything is basically made with sourdough, it takes the guilt aspect away from eating so much dough. I wasn't actually blown away by the food but it's worth returning to for a guilty free pleasure. The interior is really cute!
We love the pizza here, it's thin but chewy and the ingredients tastes so fresh! We love the Caesar salad, pepperoni pizza and the mushroom white pie. Service is always great as well!
Pretty underwhelming, but the pizza was decent. When I went to order a slice of cheese, they told me they were out of cheese..... maybe I could understand if it was close to closing, but this was in the middle of the day. I don't really see how you can offer pizza by the slice and not have probably the most popular option? They didn't even mention if they were making more, I would have waited. Instead, I had to pay extra for burrata so I could have cheese. I pull out my wallet and handover cash just to be told that they don't have bills in the register. No money no cheese not sure if I'll be back. Potatoes were pretty good but the pizza was just decent .
food here was delicious! We tried their spiceroni pizza and their meatballs. The meatballs were full of flavor and so juicy. The sauce was heavenly - I basically licked the plate clean. The pizza had a good kick to it from the jalapeños and the hot honey. I'm a sucker for hot honey on my pies. There is no lot, so you have to park on the street and it's metered parking. When you get inside you order first at the counter in the back and then pick a seat. It is on the expensive side for a pizza but that's likely because of the ingredients they use.
Fire pizza but a bit pricey. While I found the square slice just above average, the full sourdough pizza was incredible. Complex flavors with good quality ingredients and the pizza was not too floppy.
Great spot for wine and pizza. The sourdough is rich and airates the dough just enough for a crisp but full bite. They offer collabs and seasonal flavors which surprised us. Plenty of tables to enjoy time with family or friends after work. Service was friendly and we were served fairly quickly considering it was made to order. However there's something to be said about the price per pizza. Competing pizza joints easily hit the $20 dollar mark for good reason, but a $30 dollar pie should be atleast 16 inches. I would still come again but I might enjoy some wine or their game nights.

How have I not been here sooner? Wallflour has been on my list for about a month, and it is truly one of the best pizza spots in Los Angeles. I will definitely be back with the full family. Very cute, casual interior with a welcoming, family-friendly vibe. Ordering is quick and easy: just head to the counter, place your order, and take a seat. They have draft water available, plus a self-serve fridge stocked with free chilled water bottles alongside other sodas and beverages. Parking is limited to street parking, but you can usually find a mix of metered spots and free neighborhood street parking nearby. I grabbed their lunch deal for $13, which comes with a proper NYC-sized pepperoni slice, a soda, and a side salad. The sourdough crust is top-tier with an incredible crunch, paired with a delicious tomato sauce and the perfect amount of cheese. The sourdough base makes it extra tasty. My only minor nit was that they packed the hot slice and the side salad together in the same to-go box, which left the salad a bit wilted and sad by the time I got home. Above & beyond! Every single person working here was hardworking, kind, and attentive. The lady at the cashier chatted with me while I waited for my to go order, making the whole visit feel super inviting. Their creative handcrafted pies are made with high-quality ingredients, feature bold flavor combinations, and a crust made with house-fermented sourdough. This cozy neighborhood spot is quite popular. I came here on a Sunday evening with Mama Ro & sis for a little family dinner. The décor is charming with blue painted flowers on the wall and lovely sunflowers next to the window. You seat yourself, order food & drink at the counter, and it is delivered to your table by a friendly staff member. We got Cheese the One to share and a glass of white wine each, which ended up being two so we should have gotten a bottle. Oh well, next time. Overall, the flavor of the pizza was really good. I liked the sauce and the cheese. And the crust had that sourdough twang. It was light & thin with a crispy, crackly edge. The pie was 14" and the slices were big. Meatballs: the red sauce was tasty however the actual meatball itself was flavorless. it was soft and moist but really lacking any spice and tasted like nothing without the sauce. Spiceroni pizza: 8.9/10! light crispy crust and it had a lot of flavor with a good portion of toppings. we added garlic confit and it was delicious. their ranch is house made and goes well w the pizza. would recommend to just try the pizzas. service was amazing, they answered questions and gave recommendations! price: just the meatballs and pizza was $72 which was very steep and imo not worth the price. especially since theres no drink options (just some bottles and tap water) and the seating is a little awkward when its packed. $30 for one thin crust pizza makes it feel underwhelming. read more
Not too many get the sauce right, but they nailed it. Tangy, flavorful, and got that ring of it right by the crust, you know what I'm talking about. It was also the perfect proportion, not too little, not too much, just right. The cheese was robust, nutty, and a perfectly bold compliment to the tang. They also got the orange glow - whenever the cheese is the perfect amount, the cheese, grease, and sauce meld together to create this particular shade of orange that indicates ultimate flavor. Oh, and the crust! Crispy, wheaty, perfect char, ton of flavor. They got all the elements. This is a perfect pizza, no notes. read more

Super crispy, and the faintly sweet flavor of the topping they use flawlessly combines with the bite of that sourdough fermentation. I'm into it. This could take my top spot. read more

We came in on a non-busy day for dinner and ordered one pizza to try. They have very unique flavors for their pizza. I think this is offers really good and unique options to try. The pizza we got overall was good. It was light, thin, and crispy. Freshly made with fresh ingredients. The red sauce was on a more watery side and you can really taste the tomato, compared to your traditional red sauce you get at other pizza places. However, it was on the sweeter side to my liking. But I know there are many who would enjoy it. They offer a healthier and more natural drink selection over your typical fountain drinks that you get for cheap. I got a lemon flavor soda, which was nice and refreshing. They did have a Coca Cola alternative if anyone wanted coke. The staff were friendly and attentive and the environment was quite cozy when it's not busy. I do want to come back to try their other dishes that they offer. read more
Wallflower serves up some solid sourdough pizza, and I am not just saying that because I was starving after a hike! I've been pretty spoiled with good pizza between NY and Toronto, and Wallflour is a up there in my ranking. It's a good dough with a good level of crispiness that can hold up a good amount of toppings. I ordered the Spiceroni, because I am not quite over the hot honey + pepperoni craze just yet. However I did feel like there was a tad too much honey for my taste.... It was a bit sweeter than I would have liked. Otherwise, generous with the basil, could use a touch more jalapenos, but now I'm just bragging about my spice tolerance. The staff were very friendly and asked a couple of times if we were doing okay or needed anything even though they don't do full table service. The space is also really cute, and I love the feature wall! Definitely worth a trip! read more

I have been eating their pizza for several years. I used to order the slices when they were Quarantine Pizza at Sunday Smorgasburg in DTLA. I think its the second best pizza in Los Angeles. Pizza Bianco is tops but Wallflour is in a second place tie with a few other locations. Its food that is fresh made with quality ingredients and wont make you feel fatigued like a lot of the fast casual competitors. Atmosphere is great and staff was friendly. I will definitely return! read more

Wallflour has been a great spot for celebrating birthdays, meeting friends, introducing family to a new spot, etc. Shout out to the staff for always being welcoming. We came around opening on a Sunday, there was no line and minimal people dining in. The pizza is REALLY tasty and the service is super friendly, but the prices are quite high. $30 for a 14" pizza is a bit high. Public parking was quite difficult but free so that's a bonus! Spiceroni Pizza -- 5/5, I really liked how the tomato sauce, pickled jalapeño, and hot honey went together!! Such a great savory, sweet, and spicy flavor combination. The pizza dough and crust are perfectly crunchy and didn't get soggy on the 20 min drive to the park. The sourdough flavor isn't super obvious til you get to the plain crust. The homemade ranch is on the thinner side. It's very herbaceous which I like, but it was too tart so I probably wouldn't get it again. read more

this place has good service and decor, but the food isn't that good... the meatballs honestly are not worth it at all. they needed some more salt/seasoning and the tomato sauce was watery. 4 meh meatballs for 20 dollars is crazy the california dreamin' was kinda a let down, it's got a good crust but the sauce overwhelmed nearly all the garlic confit flavor. i don't think that was worth it for the price. the pizza i would say is kinda worth it is the so much love. the arugula and white sauce are pretty yummy and we added sausage on top for some protein. but still, it wasn't anything noteworthy, with the ingredients i could probably make it at blaze pizza for half the price read more

Such cute ambience, friendly service, and great appetizers. My group and I ordered the fall Caesar salad (9/10, was not a big fan of the squash), the zucchini fries (10000000/10), potatoes (10000000/10 and the sauce that comes with it is unreal), the mushroom pizza (10/10), the SPORTS pizza (6/10), and the spiceroni (10/10).
