Wow such a beautiful place! Lots of history (as evidenced by all the pics on the walls)! Super nice waitress AND owner made the experience just the best! Both were engaging, personable and funny! Huge dishes and if you're loud and like to have fun, this is your place! Parking sucks, not their fault, but it's mostly street or neighborhood parking (unless you score a rare spot in front). This was my first time here and it won't be my last! The food was delicious and the vibe is even better! 4.75 stars .75 (.25 off for the parking situation)

XL 1/2 & 1/2 Deluxe and Eggplant Pizza

The Italian old world neighborhood vibe is there with friendly and helpful staff. The parking is steer only. We were a party of six and had to wait for a table. The food is more family style with good portions. We ordered the XL pizza, half as Deluxe and the other half eggplant. Delicious! A la carte orders of Eggplant Park and Spaghetti with Sausage. A large portion. They had complementary bread & butter. Cool vibe and traditional hearty Italian Food. Rating: 4 Stars

We love this place. Old school vibe. Since 1955 serving great homestyle favorites . Tonight the wife and I ordered the 1/2 of a small antipasto . This is gigantic . Enough for 4-5 people. It's covered with cheeses and deli meats. Then we had fried zucchini and mozzarella . We followed this by splitting an order of ravioli and spaghetti . This comes with 2 meatballs . We brought home enough for lunch for two .

This place stays busy soo expect to wait. I saw that there was one table free and clean but they had us wait about 10-15 mins and sat us at that same table. I'm not sure if maybe someone was on break so they didn't want to overload or what the reason was exactly. Service - 8/10 our server was nice and professional but they run it a little too tight that you don't get to really know your waiter and it takes a while to get the bill. We asked for a bill and to go box but our waitress brought food to five tables before bringing that to us. Not her fault they were busy. Maybe the owner or girl at the front desk can jump in and help instead of chatting on the front desk together. Bruschetta pasta - 5/10 it wasn't awful but it was lacking. Maybe cheese would've made it better . Angel noodles with tomato's and basil. Fettuccine Alfredo and added chicken 9/10 it was very creamy and saucy which I loved BUT adding chicken was $8 and it's less than half a chicken breast. I'd order this again but skip the chicken, not worth $8 for four tiny pieces. Over all I'd try their pizza next time and I like the decor. But isn't something I'll rave about to others.

Definitely be ready to wait, this place is popular! And it's for a good reason- the food is delicious. The portion sizes are very generous. I recommend eating family style so you can try a little bit of everything. This restaurant is more homey than trendy, with lots of history on the walls. And maybe a little historic dust. The service was a little rough. Staff are friendly, but definitely don't have time to chat. It felt like they wanted to turn over tables quickly. To be honest, having the server scrape our plates into to go boxes was also kinda gross. Parking is terrible! Be prepared to street park and walk.

Parking is tricky here. Mostly street parking but it's a battle. It can also get packed here so be ready to be waiting for a table. Also it's cash only, they do have an ATM. The inside decor is really neat with signed portraits of famous folks. The noise level is actually not bad considering how crowded it can get. Our server was really friendly and the food arrived at a good rate. The portions can be quite huge. There's a baked pasta dish that surely could be split. The bread amd butter is pretty good! It had a nice crisp exterior and warm fluffy interior. I'd eat more if I could! The zucchini sticks were okay but I normally don't order them in general. The mozzarella sticks were really good! A nice flavorful crispy exterior and warm gooey cheese inside that stretches. The linguine con pesto was okay but the pesto was quite strong. The spaghetti carbonara was real good. It has a subtle flavor and the meat compliments it. Overall, it's worth a visit.

I've been a diner at Casa Bianca for the past 45+ years. I remember going as a child and their white sauce spaghetti is unforgettable. I also ordered their meat sauce spaghetti and ravioli with meatballs. All so delicious and consistent in quality as well as quantity. They also give you their humongous rolls! Only drawback is that they take cash.

We arrived around 4 PM and were seated right away--no wait. We were served fresh bread with a thin crust and soft, fluffy interior with butter packets on the side. We ordered: Deluxe pizza medium - delightfully thin-crust, light on the sauce but packed with flavorful toppings like mushrooms, sausage, and green bell peppers. Antipasto salad half of a small for 2 (but could easily feed 3-4 people) - hearty and satisfying mix of lettuce, olives, tomatoes, peperoncini, salami, mozzarella, provolone, mortadella, and a scoop of ricotta A few tips like others have mentioned: The restaurant is cash only, but there's an ATM inside. The cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and affordable prices all made for a wonderful dining experience.

The last time I was here it wasn't a good visit. This time it was excellent! We got the meatball sandwich, seafood pasta, side of Italian sausage and to go...side of meatballs and pesto pasta. First the service was great! I listened and watched her at other tables; she knows her stuff. All of the food we received this time was so good! I don't know what changed from the last time, but this was definitely a 180 degree turn. I was so full halfway through our meal, but I didn't want to stop eating as leftovers just aren't the same. I look forward to returning to try their pizza. Bathrooms 9/10 Service 10/10 Good 10/10 Value 9/10 Cleanliness 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 Will I Return? Yes

Casa Bianca Pizza Pie. You're my heart, you're my soul. Your red sauce follows me wherever I go. Red checkered table cloths. Red cups. You know what's up. Cash only. 60 years on a quiet corner of Eagle Rock, Casa Bianca is a legend. First dates, celebrations, noisy families, coworkers, lasting friendships in friendly arguments, all looking for comfort in Italian food. THIS is a neighborhood Italian joint. And what's an Italian joint without the approval of some Hollywood Celebs who enjoyed their spaghetti so much that they said, "Please frame my headshot and hang it on your wall.". The food is the definition of Italian American comfort food. It's consistently and heartwarmingly delicious. Thank you Casa Bianca!

6/10/25 I haven't been here for at least 10+ yrs . I had previously been coming here before I was yelping & moved since I was born basically. As a family with Great grandpa and grandma , grandpa and grandma , uncle and auntie , cousins we used to come all the time. They still have my Grandpa Pic on the wall.(Famous Photographer-Mario Casilli) Anywho what a great Time we had with Family to come have dinner. The place is still the same as it has always been. Still Family owned run by the kids now and still as good as it has always been. We had reservations which they take for parties of 5 or more . We were seated immediately at our time @5pm in the back room.(See pic). Our service was excellent Forgot to get her Name but she was amazing and took our drink and appetizer order right away .We got antipasto salad and Mozzarella sticks with fresh hot bread with butter . The salad is so fresh and soooo good . The mozzarella sticks were great and had great cheese pull (see video). Bread is always fresh and delicious. For dinner I had Spaghetti marinara my fav and tasted just like when I was a kid that I loved Soo much. Everything that everyone ordered they enjoyed very much. Very authentic Italian restaurant. I definitely recommend this place. Note - CASH ONLY !! Hope you enjoy this place as much as I do ! Enjoy !!!!

Absolute hit or miss with this location. Their mozzarella sticks were really good, but some of their pasta dishes were so bland. And according to my friend, one of the dishes she tried was both salty and somehow flavorless. Based on my own experience, I'd have to agree--my dish just tasted like nothing. That said, I've been here other times, and their pizza is actually really good. But like I said, it's a total hit or miss. The inside has a cozy, old-school feel, and if you come when it's busy, expect to wait--which, in a way, is a good sign. But at the same time, I don't get how some of their dishes can be so off. Maybe I just need to figure it out. They have a huge menu, so I guess I'll keep going back if I feel like playing Russian roulette with their dishes to see what's actually good. Other than that, everything else was solid. Service was great, we got our food pretty fast, and our server was lovely. So, I appreciate that. At the end of the day, it is what it is.

Delicious antipasto salad!

Can you pick up an uncooked pizza to be cooked at home? Trying to have the pizza on Sunday for family visiting from out of town

sorry for the late answer. Yes we can make an uncooked pizza to be picked up and cooked later

Can the pizza be vegan if we skipped the cheese?

Our standard pizza crust does have a little milk. So even with no cheese it would not be totally vegan. But we do have a gluten free crust which only comes in the small size. You could order that with no cheese and add vegetables for a vegan pizza.

What are their vegan options, aside from salad without dressing?

Other than Pasta with Marinara, and breadsticks I am hard pressed to recall anything vegan on the menu. If you order a salad, I suggest you get the anti pasta, without the cheese and meats. That may sound futile, but the olives and other veggies are… Read more

What sizes are available for the gluten free pizza?

We only serve a small size for the gluten free pizza. Ned Matorana, owner

Anyways it was just so good!! Potato pieces, bacon, lots of cheese and some type of ranch dressing? Sign me upppp. I'm not big on pepperoni or meat-style pizzas and sometimes the plain cheese/veggie ones aren't what I'm in the mood for. This potato one was the perfect middle for me. It was everything I ever wanted in a pizza I miss it so bad. Anyways this is just my little love letter to that potato pizza and I can only hope that it's brought back soon! Parking is rough as is usual for arts district but I'd suffer through that willingly for more potato pizza.

In the same vein, we stuck with a similar style of food and ended up at Propaganda. There was little to no wait, which was pleasant. It was a nice day and we decided to eat outside. The focaccia bread and salad came out first, and both were good. I enjoyed the crispiness of the bread, though my only qualms were that the bread was quite oily and the butter and salt were just a tad bit too salty for my liking. The Insalata Mista salad was solid. Good flavor, good dressing-to-salad ratio, and a surprisingly good portion size. As far as pizza goes, the Margherita was good. Tasty, moist, and a nice crunch on the crust. I found it to be enjoyable, though I may have enjoyed more fresh basil on this. I did find it better than the Boscaiola. I got the black truffle honey add on, and it does not go well on this pizza in my opinion. There was virtually no taste of truffle to me, and more of just an aftertaste of oily sweet honey. This was a miss. It's hard to say whether the base pizza was good without it because the flavor profile was just too overpowered by the aftertaste. The Arts District is definitely coming up with new upscale dining establishments, and I'm there for it. I think this is a solid addition. Though this is a wine bar, I don't generally drink, so my review is based purely on the food. Results of their drinks, which is quite an extensive list, may be to your liking! They do have an inexpensive three wine flight, for reference!
