Chicken wings, pizza, focaccia sandwiches, beer, wine, and a friendly staff makes this a perfect spot for everyone. Located on Broadway, in Chinatown near Dodgers Stadium, LaSorted's isn't just a "Dodgers Joint"! It's a family friendly (dogs too) kinda of place that everyone wished they had in their own neighborhood. Opened a few years ago by Tommy Brockert, an accomplished photographer and avid consumer of wings and pizza, LaSorted's has the feel of a Dodgers Hangout, mixed together with a little Rock-n-Roll nostalgia. Beside Tommy and his team, the real stars of LaSorted's is the food. Wings are outstanding and come in several flavors. We tried the Garlic Parm, Lemon Pepper (with clarified butter), and Buffalo Lemon Pepper wings and candidly, we couldn't ranked them as they were all very tasty. Good size wings that were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Although I wanted to try the mortadella with pistachio, burrata, pistachio cream on baked focaccia bread sandwich (next time), we elected to try their pizza. Unlike most joints, LaSorted's sells their pizza by the pie or slice, which made it convenient for us to try the pepperoni and Upside Down Mamba. Both slices were terrific, but the Mamba stole the show by its pure simplicity! The tomato sauce on this slice of pie is good enough to eat by itself in a bowl. Tommy sat next to us and shared a bit of his story and how his friends and relatives supported him on his inaugural journey to open LaSorted's. Believe me, it couldn't happen to a nicer individual! No photos for this review, we were too busy eating and having a great time. Went to the Chinatown location a few days ago and FELL IN LOVE but for some reason this location didn't quite hit the same. Pizza was still incredible though with WAY easier parking (lot with plenty of spots). I got two slices from of the Good Boy for about $15. Don't come here if you're wanting to sit and chill- Chinatown location had way better seating options. read more

This is for the Chinatown location. Ordered a cheese pizza over the phone. That's right, a plain 'ole cheese pizza. They say it will be ready in about twenty minutes. Five minutes later they call back and say it's ready. Now unless they have a pizza oven that defies the laws of time and space for this type of pizza, that's not possible. We believe they are giving us someone else's cancelled order. Either way we want a fresh one. As expected we get there and we are presented a dry ass pizza that has been sitting around. It didn't even feel hot anymore. We ask if this is fresh and they say, yep. Very disappointing and a real let down as we choked it down with some flat diet coke. Tried Lasorted's in Chinatown and got two slices to eat there: one cheese and one Mamba. The cheese slice was just okay, but honestly it could've been bigger. The flavor felt a bit lacking and didn't really stand out. The Mamba slice was the bigger disappointment -- the cheese had this weird rubbery texture that made it pretty unpleasant to eat. Both slices were also kinda dry, super thin, and surprisingly small for the price. I kept waiting for the hype to make sense, but it just never got there for me. Overall, this spot feels way overhyped. Sadly, I won't be going back. I'd honestly rather just stick with Prime Pizza instead. read more

I'd been waiting forever to visit LaSorted's, and I'm so glad I finally did. I pulled up before a Dodger game to grab a couple slices to go. There's not a ton of ambiance to comment on other than the outside door has a really cool Lasorda mural. The service is pretty quick. I think I waited all of ten minutes for the slices to come out. The pizza is awesome. Thin, crispy, and flavorful. I love that the pizzas have LA themed names. I had a slice with burrata that was really fantastic. Perfect Dodgers Game Bite... My friend grabbed us their version of an Italian sandwich before the game Tuesday night, and it was bomb. Tried the Burratra and the Mookie slices from LaSorted's and both were solid, but the Mookie was the standout for me. The mushroom slice had that rich, buttery flavor with perfectly melted cheese, and the mushrooms had a nice bite without being soggy. Super balanced and flavorful. The Burratra slice was also really good -- creamy burrata, fresh basil, and a lighter tomato base that made it feel fresh without being too heavy. Service was quick, especially for a small storefront that's just doing orders with no dine-in. The only downside is not having somewhere to sit -- but honestly, eating on my trunk low-key became a vibe. And the crust was great on both slices: good char, chewy, and held up perfect. This place is decked in out in Dodger Blue which I'm guessing will be around for sometime as a pre Game spot like the Short Stop, Tommy's, GCM and a few other local spots. We came here on a whim and starving coming down from Broadway driving by and remembering watching a Youtube vid of their mortadella sandwich. So, just like everyone these days, I did a donut (just kidding) at the intersection and turned around and found front row street metered parking. The mortadella sandwich is hefty with burrata, slap of pistachio cream and layers of mortadella. What I like about this sandwich is really the focaccia. It's very tasty. Overall a good sandwich and could be for 2 people. I know it's served traditional but it could use some acidity to cut down the saltiness of the mortadella. 4/5 What's better than the sandwich is really the pizza here. The Good Boy has a house sauce, pepperoni, basil and burrata and hot honey drippings. I'm no pizza expert but I thought it's Excellent. 5/5. A plus here is they sell pizza by the slice and there's a dozen or so types to choose from. Great place to hang out and grab a beer whether pregame or not. Bring your Dodger hat. read more

Finally stopped by and tried the wings. Was unfortunately gravely disappointed. Asked for the Lemon pepper and garlic parm and was told it would take fifteen. It ended up taking 40 minutes though I appreciated the kind cashier, who evidently felt bad. The wings were all kind of jumbled together in the box and was all too tart. For all the wait and price it was a bit too disappointing. The restaurant only has a few chairs outside to eat so you're better off ordering ahead of time or delivery. The pizza is freaking amazing! The mamba slice with pepperoni had a perfect undercarriage with a charred crust. The light garlic olive oil drizzle at the end is truly the chefs kiss. The upside down Sicilian slice was surprisingly light and had a great bite and you could taste the quality of the dough. These garlic fries are packed with garlic and Parmesan cheese, they're way better than the ones at dodgers stadium. They also have another location in Chinatown with actual seating. The pizza somehow tasted like it was made yesterday. The crust was tough to chew through and the entire pizza felt dry. We ordered through postmates so not sure how long this pizza sat but I can eat cold pizza just not when it's also stale. Very bummed as we live pretty Close to both locations. Maybe an off night? Kirk's supreme had such a great flavor, I tend to take the olives off my pizza but I left them on this time because it was just so good and the mushroom was so flavorful. Sweet boy pizza is a must ! Our fave was hands down the father in law sandwich, it has a bit of a kick and is just all round delicious. A personal top favorite sandwich for me.
