    Vermicelli Bowl

Great spot for a late-night bite in downtown Honolulu, especially since not many places stay open past 9pm. Their vermicelli bowl is fire! I ordered mine with grilled pork and a spring roll, and it was so good. Prices are unbeatable for the portion size and quality, and the food feels very authentic. Definitely a go-to in the area!

Service was excellent and the Pho was perfect! The large Pho was much larger portion than I expected given the low price, it easily could've fed 2 people. The restaurant was very clean and not too loud even tho it was a busy day.

I'm from Los Angeles where there's a lot of very good Vietnamese places around where I live. Pho Vietnam really surprised us with how authentic their broths tasted especially for Hawaii. I first tried the pho (I was hungover) and I was able to stomach the entire bowl. The other girls in my group ordered the BBH. it was so good that we ended up going back for lunch right before our flight. I ordered the bun rieu just to try it because I prefer bun rieu over BBH. it's solid, but I would still say their BBH was the tastiest out of the 3. Service was good/quick. Now I know where to eat good Vietnamese food when I visit Oahu again!

Large seating area. Seated immediately. Service was very good. I had Oxtail Pho and it was amazing. I would definitely come back.

I've been coming here with my family ever since I was a child. My dad grew up in Vietnam and this is one of his favorite go-to Vietnamese places in Chinatown. The menu at this place genuinely can't be beat. It has everything: pho, bánh mì, vermicelli dishes, even Thai dishes and hot pot! The prices are very reasonable and I haven't found a single thing here I didn't like yet. When I'm feeling fancy I always go for #61 (vermicelli with grilled pork and fresh herbs, mam bún cha Hà Nội ). It comes in a beautiful plate and always hits the spot! Their Vietnamese iced coffee (#3, ca phê sữa đá) is also the best Vietnamese iced coffee I think you can find on this island. The servers are always super welcoming and love to help me learn more Vietnamese. This is one of my favorite places in Chinatown and I really hope it gets the love it deserves.

Had their Bun Bo Hue, pretty good. Good ingredients and tender meats, flavor had depth, good spice level. I'm hoping to try their other dishes next time. It's a spot where I saw a lot of Asians were dining at, also it's recommended by an acquaintance of mine who's Vietnamese, so there must be a reason? Also love how they have a whole page of vegan selections! That's amazing! I'll try some of those next time too. Hopefully it's good. The service was friendly. The food also came pretty quickly. The restaurant was quite spacious and there were maybe 15-20 tables inside. It drew quite a bit lunch crowd during the week. I can't imagine how it's like during the weekend!

I loved this place. Menu has lots of options and affordable prices. I ordered #37 and was very happy. The spring rolls were crispy and the pork was super tender. Service was also quick and staff was friendly. Definitely coming back to try other things on the menu!

Got started before taking g a photo. Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup-$18). Delicious and full of flavor!

Authentic Vietnamese restaurant with large menu that offer dishes not found in many other restaurants such as hot pot and meat plates that you make spring rolls with. I ordered bun bo hue and it was very good; lots of lemongrass flavor which I love. Service was quick and restaurant had a good crowd for early morning. We saw working people coming for early lunch so I bet it gets very busy around lunchtime. This restaurant is in Chinatown so there's lots to browse around before or after your meal.

Pho Vietnam Our Forever Pho Spot! Hands down, my all-time favorite place for crab noodle soup (pho)! I've been coming here so often with my son and friends it's our go-to spot for comfort food and good vibes. The crab noodle soup is next level flavorful, rich, and full of love. I'm also obsessed with their fresh spring rolls, nem, and summer rolls so refreshing and tasty. Don't skip the Vietnamese coffee or the house mixed drink with dried longan (I forget the name but it's so good!). The service is always kind and welcoming. We're treated like regulars every time. The atmosphere is cozy and easygoing nothing fancy, just that familiar, homey feel that makes you want to keep coming back. Every visit is a happy one. Always delicious, always satisfying. Support your local pho spot you won't regret it!

This is where my parents get their weekly pho fix -- no negotiations. I join them every now and then if I am in the area. Parking can be a little tricky since it's street-only, but there are public parking garages nearby that are usually a good option. I love pho, but I can never finish a bowl here -- the portions are huge. They're especially known for their hot stone pho (you'll see how big it is in the pics), but even the regular pho comes in medium, large, and extra-large -- definitely a great bang for your buck. My personal favorite is the duck bamboo noodle soup. They serve the duck on the side. In the broth, they have bamboo shoots and (I believe) duck blood with the noodles. It's sooo good -- I highly recommend trying it. It's my go to dish if you're a duck lover. One tip: I'd suggest sitting closer to the front. If you sit in the back, you might get overlooked by the servers unless you call them over.

Arrived in HNL on Saturday and was hungry. My son took me here and it did not disappoint. This is located in Chinatown. When we arrived, the place was super busy with locals. I had the bahn mi and it was super delicious. My son had one of the phos and they put so much meat in it he couldnt finish his lunch. I tasted the broth and it was delicious.

The food is unbelievable! Sometimes there's a line out the door, but the team is efficient--so always wait! This location is in Chinatown on Maunakea. If you're lucky, you can snag a metered parking spot nearby. Pho Que Huong is super clean, and I love how they decorate for holidays. Family-owned, this local business is very welcoming. Plenty of tables. Clean restrooms for paying customers. The food and drink are made with utmost care. The produce is always fresh and clean. The pho broth is unmatched. Not too sweet, lovely and aromatic. Portions are generous for the price point. Vietnamese coffee is a must! Strong and sweet--yum! The spring rolls even taste "healthy" here in that they're not too oily, and made with fresh ingredients. The customer service is always on-point, whether eating in or taking out. Note: They do not offer XL size for takeout. I think it's sweet they don't advertise otherwise, since they don't have the proper containers for that amount of food. Be sure to check out this authentic Vietnamese spot!

The service here is quick and efficient. And even though they can get really busy at times, they're still cranking out the food and beverages in a timely manner. As for the food, it's definitely comforting and delicious. The different pho broths (chicken, beef, etc) are all just right, not too oily, not too salty. I didn't even have to add in any condiments to enhance the flavor. The Banh Xeo is a huge portion, that can be shared amongst a party of 2-4. Street parking is located right out front, there's also a parking structure out back, with an entrance into the establishment directly from the parking structure. I will definitely be coming back here for more!

I heard they will keep this space for special events. The restaurant is quite busy and I'm glad we had reservations. Good thing I was there prior to lunch hour opening, otherwise we may lose our reservations since the person who made reservations tends to be habitual in arriving late. We dined in May, but it's been awhile since I first dined here. I preferred dining in Chinatown during lunch time than at dinner. Our waiter was really nice and helpful. I forgot his name, but I remembered that his eyeglasses that he wore was cool/funny, since the frames for each eye didn't match the other eye! lol. Funny it wasn't me who first noticed it. One was square frame and the other was a round frame! The restaurant doesn't do anything special for birthdays except may write Happy Birthday in chocolate on the dessert plate that you purchase for the birthday person. Their desserts are unique and refreshing. I think there are some rotating desserts /flavors like their seasonal menu for their main menu. I guess you can always keep coming back without being bored of the menu! I was bummed to see a previous dish posted of a pasta that I wanted to try that wasn't on the current spring seasonal menu! When we dined for brunch over the weekend, I was able to get the Hainan chicken with the crispy roast pork combo. It was very filling , tasty and satisfying. I do love ginger sauce on the cold ginger chicken but sometimes the chicken is just okay. This Hainan chicken was really good and the chicken was really moist! I thought it was the best I've tried! It was good that I wanted to takeout one last time in August before they moved! No more the 50/50 combo with the crispy roast pork on the lunch menu during the weekday. It was on the spring menu. Of course it's best to eat it in the restaurant than for take out. Bathroom is a must for me when dining out and they had only one shared bathroom for everyone! There was a guy who tried to make several attempts but wasn't successful, since there was always someone in the restroom. I'm glad the waiter told me there was a bigger separate bathroom with several stalls for men and ladies upstairs. You go straight through the kitchen to catch the elevator and to another kitchen /storage area! Thank Goodness! Best wishes at your new location. You offer yummy and tasty food!

When we arrived, we were the first guests so got to pick our table. When we sat down at the pretty wooden booth, there was a happy hour menu on the table. What?!? And YAY!! There was a 2-for special on the cocktails and you could select from the full menu which featured an extravagant and eclectic selection. There were wine and beer specials too but we were here for the cocktails. From the happy hour menu, we ordered the vegan spring rolls, chicken wings, and the Bo Ne Steak--a Vietnamese breakfast with bone marrow, cubed steak, sunny side eggs and a baguette. I can vouch for the spring rolls, light and crunchy without being oily. I don't eat land animals but my friend said the wings were divine. And they give you gloves to eat them. So civilized (ha) and a nice touch! She loved the bone marrow and steak. There was so much food she didn't finish it so I took it home to the hubby who devoured it. No complaints and only smiles from him! I wanted to try a couple pescatarian dishes from the regular menu so ordered the lemongrass clams which was AH-mazing! Could have been my favorite dish of the night because the flavors were unexpected but undeniably good. And, the garlic salmon bun (vermicelli noodles) was fantastic. The fish was cooked perfectly and the sauce was savory yet light. I've never seen this option at any other Vietnamese restaurant and it certainly elevates the traditional dish which usually comes with meat, tofu, or spring rolls. (You can still order the bun with these options and they let you choose your protein combos.) Finally, (I told you there was a lot of food) we ordered the banana blossom salad. I rarely see this offering at other Vietnamese restaurants. It's hard to describe but I refer to this dish as the red-carpet version of the green papaya salad. It's more dressed up and sophisticated. A real treat and a must-have if you're dining at An Di Dzo. Parking was easy since it's at Ward (by the theaters or you can park anywhere in the village). The restaurant is clean and modern. And the service was courteous and professional. Our server Alex was great and made the evening extra special. An Di Dzo is open for lunch and dinner. The waitress was prompt with bringing our water, taking our order and bringing our food out. They have a little lazy-Susan style sauce/condiment platter on each table which was nice for the pho. The food was actually very tasty! I enjoyed everything I ate. Which kind of shocked me, being that town is more of a touristy area and I wasn't expecting to get decent pho! Since they're located in the same building as ward theaters, there's an entire parking structure for you to park in, for free! So don't worry about parking. If you're in the area, I'd suggest trying this place out!

We ordered banh mi, rice noodle w bbq pork and spring roll, and banh bao. The food came out really fast and was beautiful and delicious. The vermicelli was the best - I could eat that every day. We were both stuffed when we left. We took the bus so I'm not sure about parking. The dining room is modest with just a few tables, nothing fancy. Those are usually the best places anyway.

You got plenty to choose from even with picky eaters so you're going to find something for everyone here IMO. We opted for the pho noodle soup and the dry hu tieu which is like a noodle dish with side soup. Flavors were amazing and were only enhanced with their house made lemongrass oil which you can self serve. The place is a bit small but we were lucky to get seated immediately on a Friday lunch. Would love to come back here over and over on my trip, but may have to make decisions since there's so much food to try! The restaurant is a peaceful serene like place and has that Chinatown like theme, showing maybe the age of the place so don't expect modern classy vibes. Also there may be a bit of a language barrier so if you can speak even a little Vietnamese, maybe try pulling it out. Otherwise, just point to the dish on the menu to order! They do accept card here btw. Parking is Chinatown so try the municipal lots for cheapest option, street parking is also possible.
