Love this neighborhood spot! Ordered their bone marrow pho with upgrade of the actual sliced bone marrow on the bone for additional $7. Also ordered their 3 piece spring rolls and small pho with steak and beef balls. Everything was delish! Love this place!

lemon grass chicken sandwich and vietnamese ice coffee with condensed milk so more expensive

I haven't been here for years. I came when they just opened and did a takeout which was good. However, years later prices have increased and not as good as before. Spring rolls kind of tiny eventhough waiter said it would be bigger than the ward special imperial rolls. They were slightly crispy. The sandwich was ok but the pickled veggies were dry. I don't remember paying more for vietnamese ice coffee with condensed milk than for vietnamese coffee. Before it always came with condensed milk. Had to ask 3 times for lemon for water. My friend had the rice bowl and I tried a piece of her chicken. It was too salty. She did not even eat what she ordered. So sad. Service was still slow even after 2 tables finished. My friend said she went to their Chinatown location many times and was disappointed in what she had at this new location. Tables were dirty when we arrived and were not cleared for a while. We did have a nice time catching up but the portable credit card machine failed to provide receipts. The waiter had to reprint at another register. I could not even see the price of the individual items just a total with tax included, a bit frustrating.

Both the bone marrow infused pho and the regular pho with lean brisket and eye round were great! The bone marrow broth was noticeably smoother and more buttery, but I preferred the regular pho for its cleaner, lighter finish. The spring rolls tasted very fresh, though the portions were on the smaller side. Unfortunately, we ended up sending back the fried egg rolls. They were extremely skinny and slightly burnt. It was more like an egg stick than an egg roll. I don't mind extra crisp but the portion size for the price was hard to justify. Service is ultimately what cost this place a star. I understand how demanding service work can be, but feeling at least welcomed goes a long way. Twice during our meal we had to get up and search for our waitress. Once to request the veggies for our pho and again to sort out the bill. Both times, there was no real sense of acknowledgment or show of extra effort.

First time here and it was great! The ambiance is pretty casual, the service was on point, and the food was really good! Definitely a little different from the usual pho places that I've eaten at before but in a good way. They have all the condiments, and their house made chili oil was not as spicy as it looks! By the way, you can purchase it if you want to add it to your dishes at home. I'll definitely come back for more. I ordered the basic pho. The broth was flavorful. Next time I'll try the bone marrow pho.

Located at Ward near movie theater. This place was okay. They allow reservations but I didn't think we needed it on a weekday. The drinks took a while to arrive after we ordered but it was tasty, kind of pricy but I guess because location. My friend ordered their version of a bloody marry and it was very tasty with pho soup and their hot sauce in it. The chicken wings were okay, has potential. The spring roll was good but order was small. You are getting two spring rolls that are cut in half to make four pieces. The pho combination was good. Had a nice amount of meat. I just wasn't impressed by the soup. The flavors weren't as strong as I was hoping for, but still good and helped my pho craving. Staff were nice. Parking is same as movie theater. Place is clean.

My friend and I ended up at An Di Dzo on a whim after a post-workout dinner search, and we were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our meal. It was a weekday evening and fairly quiet, which gave us the perfect chance to relax and unwind. When we first walked in, we were told to sit wherever we liked, though we did notice that a few tables still had dishes left over from earlier guests. That said, it was clear the restaurant was running with a lean front-of-house staff, and our server - the only one working the floor - did a great job handling everything on his own. He was incredibly helpful, offering thoughtful recommendations and taking the time to explain the dishes and drinks in detail. For drinks, I ordered the Smokey Cu Long Tea with mezcal and coconut milk, and it was absolutely delicious. It had a perfect balance of sweetness with a light smokiness from the mezcal, rounded out by the creamy richness of the coconut milk. My friend's drink (though I can't recall the name) reminded us of shave ice in the best way - light, refreshing, and full of flavor. We started with two appetizers: the Wagyu Tapas and the Pork & Shrimp Crepe (we added extra veggies to the crepe). Both were excellent, but the crepe easily stole the show. It was super crispy, packed with flavor, and incredibly easy to share - the added veggies really rounded it out and made it feel fresh and hearty. The tapas were also delicious, but the portion felt a bit small with only three pieces. For our main, we shared the Bone Marrow with Steak and Eggs, and wow - this dish blew us away. I've had bone marrow at other places before, but this was hands down the best I've ever tasted. The texture was firmer than usual, which worked beautifully, and the flavor was rich without being overwhelming. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned with a sweet-savory glaze that complemented everything on the plate. The sunny side-up eggs and toasted bread were perfect for soaking up every last bit of sauce. Overall, our experience at An Di Dzo was unexpectedly fantastic - especially considering it was a spontaneous stop on a quiet night. The quality of the food, the creativity in the drinks, and the attentiveness of the service made it a memorable dinner. We're already planning to come back on a weekend to try more of the dishes we had to pass up this time. Highly recommend checking this spot out - especially if you're into bold flavors and creative Vietnamese-inspired fare.

This was my first time dining at An Di Dzo, so I was actually surprised this place existed here. It was a cute corner place near the bakery at Wards. We were seated right away. It wasn't busy, however, we noticed it was a one man show where only had one waiter taking orders. The waiter was great! He was friendly and didn't mind explaining the different types of dishes they had to offer. We ordered two appetizers and then our own pho bowls. The pancake dish was really good, not floury, and very light in flavor. The clams were full of flavor and even if we ordered mild, my sister in law said it still had a kick in spice, which I actually liked. The pho was food for the soul. I ordered a small pho and it was the perfect amount. It was actually a lot for me too. There was a lot of brisket inside for every bite. I enjoyed this place and will definitely come here again :)

On Valentine's Day, my husband and I were looking for the best place to have a delicious dinner. We tried Istanbul, but the line was too long. Merriman's was also packed. So, we decided to walk around the building by the movie theater. As we reached the front, before the movie entrance, we spotted an amazing place. It wasn't crowded, and the atmosphere looked very calm, with raw cement, wood, and a beautiful bar area. Peeking at the food through the window, we were surprised by how delicious it looked and how reasonable the prices were for such a nice place in the Ward area. We took a chance and went inside, and let me tell you, it was some of the best pho we've had in a while! My husband ordered the Beef Marrow, and I got the chicken pho mini because I wasn't very hungry. Surprisingly, even the mini size was quite generous. We also ordered the wagyu and spring rolls, which were perfectly presented--already cut and served with mint leaves, which we usually have to tear ourselves at other restaurants. This place is so nice; it reminds us of a Mediterranean-style interior--simple yet classy--with a relaxing music selection. We were very surprised that it wasn't more crowded; you'd expect a line of people waiting outside! It's definitely one of our favorite spots now, and we will be back again! Thanks to the really cool crew: Julia, Jacob, the mom & pops, and everyone working in the back! It's a must-try!

Banana Blossom Salad

I just saw another viral video of this place described as, "one of the best pho on the island" and felt compelled to come here to say that it is definitely not that amazing. Not worth the extra surcharges on every dish. Service was not the worst but not pleasant. The window walls were filthy and I did not enjoy the ambiance. It was not busy so we definitely should have had better service. The Vietnamese pancake was soggy and the combination pho was mediocre at best. I give this place two stars only because the Banana Blossom Salad was delicious but that's it. You can get way better pho at any other place on the island. Save yourself the hyped up trip as this is another one of those "viral" glorified and overhyped places. We were so hungry and excited going in and left quite disappointed with the overall experience here.

Disgusting pho (no beef, ALL tendon)

There was no beef in my pho! I wouldn't normally continue going back and forth but I feel the need to clarify after your response especially since it misrepresents what i said. Also my husband only continued eating the broth because he was so hungry. There was no actual beef in my pho and barely any in his. I don't mind some fat or tendon but my bowl was clearly not prepared correctly. I even showed the uneaten bowl to the manager at the time. The manager did offer to switch it to steak but by then our kids were already finished eating so staying longer wasn't an option for me. I took the time to explain everything to both the waiter and the manager yet my concern still wasn't properly addressed. What I don't understand is why I was still charged full price for a meals we couldn't eat. The entire experience was disappointing which is why I left a review--to help other customers avoid a similar situation. Offering store credit for a future visit doesn't resolve the issue for me. Given how this was handled, I am still requesting a refund.

Very nice Pho restaurant that's open after 9pm. My husband thought the broth was too salty and suspect that because it was toward the end of the night so we got the bottom of the pot. I added water to mine so it was perfect to my taste! The meat was tender and the pho noodles were just right, not too soft nor too hard. I believe the price is reasonable for Hawaii, I'd come back again.

Bone Marrow and Eye Round Pho

Got the bone marrow pho and it was super yummy! Wish the meat quantity was more but the flavor was amazing. Service was great too!

Beef Pho

Terrible place I had the worst food poisoning! Meat was old and had a blue-ish film on top. After showing the waiter, he assured me that it's fine and I ended up being sick for 2 weeks with bad stomach parasites.

So the thing about coming to Fun Station is the "suspended flying noodle thingy" which I didn't go for, but if you like Instagramable stuffs, then I supposed you would probably go for that flying-noodle dish. As for me, I mainly came to try their Minute Chicken Cake Noodles, and as a bonus......... I actually got a 20% discount thanks to my friend - Jennifer C. who let a Bruddah know about da DEALAGES in da Sunday food section newspaper, as they had a coupon! The Sunday morning when I came with my friend, I can clearly see that this restaurant was thriving, as every table in the restaurant was taken. Fun Station specializes in noodles, but if you're not into that, they do serve other items like - soups, vegetable dishes, rice plates, & porridge (jook). Upon looking over the menu, we ordered the following items - 1. Frrrrrrried Chicken Wings ($9.95) for an appetizer 2. Minute Chicken Cake Noodles ($17.95 - minus da 20% coupon DEALAGES) 3. Beef Brisket Tendon & Won Ton in soup ($18.95) What can I say about da grub??? Da chicken wings came out hot & crispy. Although they featured only "flats" vs. drums (I like drums), I must say da wings was nicely executed. As for the Minute Chicken Cake Noodles.........nicely plated on a fancy smanshy panda plate. The cake noodles weren't drowning in gravy, so the noodles stayed crispy on the dish. I really liked how they did this dish, and would easily come back here to eat it again. My friend had the Beef Brisket Tendon & Won Ton soup. The dish looked good, and there weren't any complaints, so I take it that it was pretty ono! Overall, a very satisfying meal and the service here was on point, as the staff was friendly & very efficient. Easy 5 stars for the Minute Chicken Cake Noodles! Chance 'em!

There was a couple in front of us who said they come here every time they visit Hawaiʻi and that it's a must-do stop on every trip. When you walk in, it's a small place. You can watch a team member washing the noodles and portioning them into bowls right in front of you. Then you choose your bowl size, small or large, and select your broth. After that, you get to choose from a variety of fried items and other à la carte options displayed on a warmer. Seating can be limited because of how busy this place gets. You line up to get your food, pay for it, grab your condiments, utensils, and a cup of water, then find a seat and enjoy. I've already been here twice, and after writing about my experience, I need to make a third visit happen very soon! There are not enough days off in a week to enjoy all of the amazing food on this island, but I'm going to do my best to experience as many places as I can. This place is totally worth the 45-minute commute from Wahiawa.

I finally decided why not and came with a friend on new years day lunch time. They were pretty busy already after just 30ish minutes of opening (12pm). Service: We were seated immediately and the service method is pretty simple, you scan the QR code and order through there. My main gripe with this service method is the waitresses aren't as attentive, we couldn't really ask any questions prior to ordering and even after ordering, I had to stand up to the front and wave someone down to pay for our order (as they had a special they had to apply before we paid). We ordered: - Spicy Beef Pancake: 10/10, didn't expect to like this so much as well. Not that spicy to be honest. More like a light spicy flavor. The beef inside was also juicy. - Pan-fried pork bun: 10/10, I was honestly looking forward to this more than the XLB and I was correct to do so. The filling was juicy like a XLB but the dough was also fluffy, doughy, AND has a crispy bottom. Would come back just for this and recommend this 10 times over!! - Sui Mai: 8.8/10; this was like any other good sui mai you may get at different dimsum places. Just pork though, no mushroom or seafood chucks like some other spots. - Steamed Beef with Sticky Rice: 8.1/10. This wasn't bad by any means but just didn't compare to the rest of the items. I didn't like how some parts were super fatty. - Xiao Long Bao: 10/10, the wrapped is thin but thick enough for me to pick up the dumpling without it popping. The soup was flavorful and so was the pork within. They had a special going on which made our XLB be like $5 instead of the $14 it usually is. We were super surprised of how little our bill was give that we were stuffed at the end of the meal and had some leftovers. Even without the discount it would've been a great deal. I heavily recommend, especially the pan-fried pork bun and XLB!!

We went for both the hot and cold udon specials - I think it was a consensus that we would have liked to have more noodles in the dish. This is definitely a sweeter dish, with the tororo and the tsukudani. The place already had a long line, and the best way to enjoy would be to dine-in. Note that if you do order a carry-out, the quail egg would not be included. +ordering online is available +changing menu of noodle dishes +popup at Fishcake

What is Noods? I had to Google it. I can't keep up with urban words nowadays. So keep up with me…read morehere. Vibe is chill as young folks say these days. Young server quickly greeted us and let us sit anywhere. He asked if we've been here before and quickly ran down some specials. I love it when they ask "been here before?" I was set on Black garlic Tonkotsu. Served with thin ramen noods. I love thin noodles and they're not yellow. No need to dye the noodles. I like them as is. Rich broth and crunchy garlic. Their special is carmelized kimchee gyoza and Gochuchang, spicy ramen. Kimchee gyoza wasn't too spicy but spicy ramen is spicy as it should be. Best of all, music playlists were from 90s. Love it even more! My Era! Anyways, comfortable, cute, easy ramen joint in Kaimuki with excellent service. You can park in Kaimuki municipal parking lot.

The flavor of my creamy garlic shoyu ramen was fine. Nothing special, but good enough. However, it was cold (not room-temperature. Cold!) and there was very little of it. "Lazy tax" aside, I could've had a much tastier and more satisfying meal for way less if I had just added some veggies and (very) little meat to a pot of Sapporo noodles prepared at home. I understand times are hard, especially for small businesses, in this economy but pouring more broth would've made a big difference. Even if I had to po it in the microwave myself.

Parking: small lot near building, street parking, parking in Walmart parking lot (at your own risk)…read more Service: table service. With QR code on table that you input your order into. Ambiance: casual Food: a great place to satisfy Szechuan cravings. Would recommend getting their spicy dumplings (so good). Also tried their sweet potato noodles and it was like a more chewy rice noodle. Would also recommend getting their mung bean drink (with free refills) that goes well with their spicy dishes.

Service was excellent. The nice lady checked in on us several times and provided extra napkins and refills. Ambiance: cozy. As with their sister restaurants, scan the qr code and order away. I really liked the variety and being able to order sides or small dishes. The mung bean soup is delicious and served chilled. They do give free refills. This was my first time trying it, and 10/10 would order again. Mini hot and sour wonton: first time trying and won't be my last. 10/10 Beef pancakes were good, slightly different from Mian and Bao, and delicious. Ice Jelly: good cooling dessert. Not too sweet. Perfect finisher for all the spicy food. Pickled sides: I really loved the spicy back fungus. I'm a huge sucker for woodear mushroom so I was also glad I could order a side of it just to toss into my soup! So good! Everything was really good, and I can't wait to try something new as we make our way through their menu.
