    Mandarin Ginger (chicken included)
    Nikki U.

Love this place! The salads are always so fresh and tasty. I have gotten the Mandarin Ginger salad and the Aloha Mediterranean. Both are very tasty. All salads come with some pita bread and the dressing is place on the side so you and add as much as you like. The service is quick. The only complaints I have is that there was not much chicken and it can be on the more expensive side. It is about $5 to add chicken to your salad. Overall, I enjoy this place for a nice refreshing and healthy lunch.

I'm never a gal who buys salads, mostly because I can make them. But I recently received a gift card to aloha salads and I was pleasantly surprised with their selection of greens choices and wraps! In my opinion, a large salad was a great snack for two, but if you want a meal get a big one for yourself. My grandfather and I tried the big island beet and Ono island ahi, which both came with a delicious dressing and fresh toppings. Service was very quick and the girls taking orders and making the salads were super patient with me asking all kinds of questions about size and popular items and what not. Each plate also came with a little wrapper of pita which was a nice touch to make it hearty! For a light meal that won't make you feel like you broke the bank, give it a try!

Visited Kahala Aloha Salads (first time in awhile) ordered the Beet salad and the Ahi wrap. Both were just wonderful....the Ahi wrap was flavorful with the fish nicely seasoned and cute grape tomatoes....i would have loved more greens tho. The Beet salad was fantastic.....lots of beets, which I love, added shrimp for protein . The service was fast and efficient in a typical mall environment. I will definitely visit again

    Tomato Bisque with Pita bread

My review is limited to the tomato bisque soup with pita bread. Ordering here is simple. All take out here. There are tables and chairs in Kahala Mall that you may use to enjoy your meal. My order was to go. Service is generally quick. I ordered my soup during a non busy time, so there was no wait. But that also means, the soup is in a heated pot that's been there for some time. Service is 4 out of 5 stars. They'll toast up the pita bread which is nice. The soup is on the thick side. You could add hot water to thin the soup. I enjoy the soup as it is. This soup is comfort food. Rich, creamy tomato soup. The soup is a bit oily. Soup is 3 out of 5 stars. Ambiance is 2 out of 5. There really is no ambiance. Aloha Salad is a counter type place with just an ordering counter and display of salads and toppings. Not much else.

I was craving a salad today and Aloha Salad is in the perfect location for me. At Kahala mall, theres usually ample parking, especially during the weeks, and thats a huge plus for me. I got the Mediterranean salad with a tomato bisque. The service was pretty good considering the staff seem to be on the younger side. The wait wasn't long, and the cashier was confident and helpful. My craving was satisfied and so was I.

My picture shows a deconstructed Paniolo Salad, purchased in person Thursday evening 1/9/25. This is not the first time I've ordered this from Aloha Salad at Kahala Mall. In case you can't tell, the salad included a tad over a tablespoon (!) of corn from a can, 3 grape tomatoes, a few small mushy avo slices and a measly 7 little pieces of dried up jicama. I get that prices are up everywhere, for everything. But this went beyond that to just plain stingy. On the plus side the tons of greens included only a few inedible pieces. Yay.

Metered street parking or they have a paid private parking lot. As it was Sunday, we found a parking on Koko Head Avenue and walked there. We were seated right away at 2:30pm and they close at 3:30pm. Then dinner is at 5:00pm. Service was fast and friendly. We ordered right away. Food came out shortly after. It looked good and it tasted good too. The purple potato salad with the 2 sweet potato chips was different and really good! After lunch, we decided to order 2 Kirin beers and a bottle of Iichiko with green tea. We drank 1/3 of the bottle and decided to save the rest for the next time. We will be back again. We decided to get the No Comply toasted. While it is a pricier sandwich, as it was about $14, the sandwich came packed with chicken, lettuce, and more. It served as a meal and a half! Ordering ahead was easy and convenient, which I appreciated, and pickup was smooth. When I picked up my sandwich, my first thought was, "Wow, this is a heavy sandwich for a turkey-bacon with added avocado, no onions, and no tomato." At the time I assumed the weight meant a generous portion of turkey and bacon. Unfortunately, when I got back to work and opened it, I quickly realized that wasn't the case--it was the lettuce. There was an overwhelming amount of lettuce packed into the sandwich, to the point where it felt completely out of balance. Instead of being turkey-forward, it felt more like a lettuce sandwich with a few toppings added in. The turkey and bacon portions themselves were surprisingly small and unevenly distributed--one half had about two slices of turkey while the other had closer to a slice and a half. Most of the bacon was also concentrated on one half, so I ended up redistributing it just to make the sandwich feel a bit more balanced. The bread didn't help either. I think I shouldn't have gotten it toasted--it just didn't do it for me. It felt a little off with the filling and didn't add anything to the overall experience. I ordered The Duke, but what I didn't realize was that I was essentially getting a salad sandwich (see pic). I like lettuce on a sandwich, but this was next level--the amount completely overwhelmed everything else inside. The cost was another consideration--my total came to $19.37, including a $3.50 charge for avocado. For the portion size and balance of ingredients, I expected a bit more bang for my buck. If I give this place a second chance, I'll definitely need to say 'lite lettuce'--or maybe just 'no lettuce, please'--unless I want another salad disguised as a sandwich!

I decided on the Eggplant Plate since I do love eggplants and when I picked it up was surprised with how heavy it was and wondered how can that be. First of all it's like a mini buffet going on in there with white and red cabbage, Israeli Salad, hummus, turmeric rice and if that's not enough two huge pitas as well. The eggplant was excellent and with about eight slices was nice though still felt it was a bit pricey and wished that they had a mini plate as this amount of food is quite wasteful as I don't see myself finishing it all. The Israeli salad I just didn't like way too much parsley for me and hummus...was okay I love hummus but this didn't do much for me personally, the rice was like one huge mochi all completely mushy the cabbage both white and red I did like and finished it all as for the pita I didn't touch it at all and will take it home for a sandwich I guess but as nice as the value for the meal it's unnecessarily too much.
