Another successful birthday lunch! Service was excellent. The food was delectable, however the dumplings were cold. Odd. It was quite noisy where we were (center dining room) and a tad bit warm (glass windows @ 11:45 6/28/26). Mom turned 93 and proceeded to eat the whole shrimp lettuce wrap appetizer, BY HERSELF! Great appetite! Parking was a challenge. Overall, B+

CPK has been a consistently favorite spot for family dining over the years, and the Kahala Mall location is no different. The food is always good, as it's the service. It was my granddaughter's 2nd birthday, so we decided to have lunch here on a rainy Friday. The mall was fairly busy, even on a rainy day, and CPK was about half full. They're prepared for families with young children, providing a children's menu with crayons for coloring. My 2 year old GD likes corn, so we ordered the street corn appetizer, along with the spinach dip with chips. I had the chicken piccata, which was shared with my GD (she ate almost one full piece), along with a pizza and the apps. Our servers were good, providing attentive service and responding to our F&B needs. The Kahala location is fairly large, with multiple dining areas, and I'd definitely come here again.

Berry Sparkler-Bacardi Superior, fresh lemonade, Monin blackberries topped with a Mionetto Prosecco Float. Yummy!

In case you didnt know the CPK Kahala is the #1 busiest and highest grossing CPK in the US, and our Ala Moana Location is #2. They are always busy and do a lot of take outs. They do not take reservations but will call you when your table is ready. My son loves CPK and chose it for his bday dinner. Service is always great and I love that they have seasonal specials to keep it interesting. The new grilled salmon picatta was delicious, and the steak chopped salad was yummy. I noticed they removed the Jambalaya from the menu;( but they may bring it back. Even though its always crowded we still love this CPK for the food, service and location.

Crowded weekend, service was amazing but the food was not good. Ordered Ribeye steak medium rare but it was well done and super tough. Sautéed onion was not cooked enough... broccoli had no taste. Thai crunchy salad was good. We usually sit at the bar counter so didn't know but this time we sat in the dining room and it was super laud there.

Tortilla soup, bbq chix pizza, Thai salad. 2026-04-11.

Good food very good service, casual ambiance. It's all what they do well. Really liked the tortilla soup. Have had and like the bbq chix pizza. However, the Thais salad lacked flavor. Needed something more as it was cabbage based, not lettuce. Won't be ordering that one again.

We haven't been in this restaurant for quite sometime now, but we always enjoy the place, the food, the ambiance. And, the service is always phenomenal. Since we received so many gift cards for Christmas so we're back and enjoyed the pizza, the bolognese spaghetti, and the artichoke dip. We will keep coming since we have not really had a bad experience!!! Will keep coming and highly recommended!!!!

Ambiance: Busy with a lot of Holiday shoppers. It was the usual time for the evening dinner rush, 6:30 thru 7:30 pm. 5-star service this evening. Wait time was on par, seated within 30 minutes as quoted. Thank you Josh for your ability to multitask and remain calm as a host. Truly the 5 star rating goes to our service provider, Kristin. She greeted us as soon as we were seated. She took our drink order and she said she would be right back to take our food order and she actually came back within minutes with warm bread. We ordered our usual, salad and pastas and they were served within 20 minutes. Krystin was on top of things by coming back to check if we needed anything. Chicken piccata and pastas were presented perfectly. Great job kitchen crew! I'm impressed after so many years....CPK is making a come back with great service and food. Thank you!No photos this time, just wanted to recognize the outstanding service we experienced from Krystin this evening. so smooth and efficient, I hope you can train others with your methodical ability to ensure you checked all the boxes to provide great service. Thank you very much!

09/12/25 Had a really nice lunch with friends today. Thai salad was delicious, full of red cabbage, cucumbers, cilantro, peanuts and flavor. I ate the whole thing! Service was perfect, nice young man who was so attentive and prompt. The butter cake was huge that I could not finish all. What would I do different? Ask that the salad hold the onions and serve the butter cake with the Ice cream separately. Our server said everything is made to order so no problem.

FOOD: our go-to's are the Full Bbq Chicken Chopped Salad n' Thai Chicken Pizza with a side of ranch, which we ordered n' always tastes great. Complimentary bread with oil n' herbs is a nice bonus to our meal. My son ate all of his kids crispy chicken meal with fruit, so that meant he really liked it. They were able to make my daughters' Mac n' cheese with spaghetti noodles at no additional cost; the portion was a lot so it was great for my two girls to share. I enjoyed my Golden Cadillac Rita. SERVICE: friendly n' attentive INTERIOR: plenty of seating, kid-friendly, spacious to fit our stroller EXTERIOR: located at Kahala Mall near Macy's WAIT TIME: 10 mins to be seated PARKING: free lot OVERALL COMMENTS: came to celebrate my daughter's 3rd birthday n' we had 2 coupons that we received after taking Easter Bunny photos with Expressions the previous month. It was for a free kids meal with every adult $20 purchase. Each kids meal was $8.49 x 2, so that got marked off our bill along with the complimentary bday sundae (thank you!). Also came during Happy Hour so our appetizer, cocktail, n' beer were at a discounted price. Great food, good service, n' the discounts made it an awesome visit!

View the other direction. Yay for paying for dinner out to be seated in the hallway of the mall. :|

I don't really understand the hype. The pizza doesn't do anything exceptional I don't think. It's not bad, but not mind boggling, and also isn't cheap. Solidly not $22 worth in my books. The pasta was even more of a ripoff though - we tried their promo short rib lasagna - which was decidedly lacking in both short ribs and sauce. So so dry. The wedge salad was probably the best value for what you get. Overall though, mediocre food, at $100 for a family of four, all for the pleasure of eating in the hall at the mall (this part was definitely the worst - it was meant to be a treat dinner out for the kids and we may as well have eaten in the food court). Our waiter was lovely and tried her best. The hostess was completely bewildered and gave away our spot in line twice. Can't imagine returning, there's just not enough redeeming.

Located in Kahala Mall on East side of the mall near Chili's restaurant. We had the wild mushroom pizza and a small size Caesar salad, which was very good the mushroom pizza was great lots of flavor and the crust done right chewy with a crispy crust. The Caesar salad small was just right side and it came with fresh vegetables and croutons and Parmesan cheese. The build your own sundae was delicious and we enjoyed the strawberry purée and the fudge and nuts. Service was good and pretty fast, for they were fairly packed when we went. Restroom was clean and well kept.

Sometimes it is incredibly challenging to maintain one's equanimity, and last night proved that point. After waiting around 10 minutes to be seated, we were given a shady, tiny table--despite the fact that many far more desirable tables were clearly available throughout the restaurant. When my loved one asked the receptionist if we could be moved to a better table, he told us they were "not available" or "not open." Seriously? I understand that this place is popular and almost always packed, but after last night's experience, I've decided to cross this eatery off my list. If I want California Pizza Kitchen, I'll go to the much friendlier location at Ala Moana Shopping Center instead. That said, there are plenty of pizza restaurants around that offer better food and, more importantly, a far superior dining experience. Hope my fellow Yelpers who experienced alike situation to share their feelings.

food was off order steak salad first bite i choked not expecting the balsamic vinegar to be sooo but oh well guessing i should order dressing on the side. gd had some strawberry lemonade she alsooo took her first sip and choked as well.. she wasn't sure what she wanted the waitress suggested tomato basil pasta she opted for it then the waitress also suggested meat sauce which would have been a better choice for a 9yo but didn't want to make a fuss and stuck w tomato basil my opinion only not a good choice for kid. next time we'll have to think and not rush. i had a mango lilikoi tea and there wasn't any flavor just tea.. we also did appetizer lettuce wrap that was good alone mayb that's what we doing if we go back

Enjoy perusing the extensive menu and summer specials!!!

The gal processed a bunch of people quite quickly! We ordered at the counter, waited inside, and picked up our orders outside. (They have outdoor seating, but it was a very hot August day.) We both got the Tuesday Special: tacos and a smoothie for $16. What a deal because tacos are $12 already and a smoothie is $8. It's like saving $4 when you get the Special! The Morning Mana Smoothie had some coffee in it. Maybe that's why it tasted sour? It couldn't be from the coconut milk or almond butter. Maybe the banana was over ripe? The Rainbow tacos had blueberries which matched the delicious dressing and purple cabbage! The hummus was a bit spicy, but the pita bread, avocado, tomato, and cucumber couldn't balance it out. I would go back again for more menu items!

I think that you should be able to taste a bit of everything in the sandwich with every bite. There have been times that the pickled red onion was on the skimpy side - like 80% of the time. To me a great sandwich is when everything is evenly spread on the bread (house mayo, hummus, garlic aioli, etc.) and evenly laid out (turkey, chicken, meats, etc.) and not just piled high in the center with the edges bare. Today my Duke sandwich was fantastic! Whoever made it literally had everything evenly spread and laid out on my multigrain bread. The lettuce was over the edges, but who cares. The carved turkey was moist and the bacon had the right amount of crunch. I actually had pickled red onions in every bite and not just a few pieces pulled apart by the layers and spread out on top of the meat. I thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich that just disappeared too fast. It's so easy to continually support our neighborhood businesses when they serve great food.

So ditch that Moko Loko and grab yourself a beautiful sandwich from Sprout, you'll feel a lot better about your trip to Hawaii. I love that Sprout has vegetable-forward options even in their meat-based sandwiches. The pesto chicken salad was loaded with beautiful green goodies which made this treat as aesthetically pleasing as it was delectable. They're also slapping down some of the best local Hawaiian ingredients into these here sanguines. The pesto itself was mac-nut based, which was intriguing. I'll be honest, I couldn't taste the difference between that and a pine nut pesto, but it was friggin delish pesto either way. The only downside I can think of is that the bread here lands somewhere between "ok" and "good". I've never had a bread quite like it, but it reminds me of a mix between an artisanal white bread, and a painini bread that you would find in Italy. It got the job done, but I feel like it could be upgraded. Sprout is worth a visit before or after your beach trip. The surrounding neighborhood is also a lively area with tons of fun restaurants and shopping.

The croissant items I've had have all been really good. Today I tried the quiche and it was very good and had a really tasty croissant crust. The egg and ricotta in there was really creamy and custard like. Mushrooms were good but I wonder if this would be even better with Hamakua mushrooms? It would mesh well with their use of local ingredients. The one negative is that the $3.75 coffee was TINY. Granted if you eat there I think you can refill it but kind of a rip off if you're getting things to go. The meat is all pretty pricy but it's local stuff so that's cool. Since it was their anniversary on Sunday, also got their celebratory funfetti cupcake which also like their baked goods did not disappoint. The croissant base of many of their pastries is flaky. When fresh it crunches with every bite that you take. This time around we had the cinnamon roll, mango danish which had a chocolate mochi filling, and their char siu bun. It's such a neat take to have char siu in a croissant. We are used to having it in the doughy bao bread but in a croissant, savory with a crunchy outside tastes so much better. I love sweet but this one wasn't overly sweet, who would have thought that mango and chocolate pair so well together. It's the summer months, fresh mango on pastries. It was the perfect ripeness. For the cinnamon roll, you honestly cannot forget get their cinnamon roll...It's flaky and again the frosting is not overly sweet. Can't wait to get another box of their pastries again soon.

Every single dish tastes incredibly fresh and clean. The hummus is remarkably smooth, and the pita is a game-changer. It is impossibly soft, almost like a cross between a classic, pillowy pita and a Hawaiian roll. If you go, do not skip the Shaloha Plate. To show you how much we fell in love with this spot: on our final day, we placed an order to take with us on the way to the airport. When delivery was running behind, we couldn't bear the thought of missing out, so we made a detour to pick it up ourselves before catching our flight. Limited parking in the parking lot, but there's also some street parking. Friendly staff. My order was made quickly, little wait time. This is an order and go kind of place. No seating. Got the Shaloha plate this time, which is my favorite on the menu. It comes with everything. It literally weighs like 2 pounds. This plate can be shared by 2 ppl. If I eat it by myself I can make 3-4 meals out of it. The veggies are fresh every time. The plate is packed with flavor.
