Not to get corny... I've been craving some elotes for some reason so when it was time to be take care of on my night before my day off it was Serg's at Midtown Eats and why the heck not with free parking and lots of seating at this bougie food court in the midst of Ke'eaumoku it was a easy transition from work mode. Though just the elotes wouldn't be enough and decided with a Taco Salad which comes in a huge edible bowl topped with the usual lettuce, beans, guacamole, pico, queso fresco and decided with shredded beef was a nice and hearty bite which is served with their cilantro dressing it was a creamy and perfect accent though their salsa was very nice and perfect as well it was a great choice though their salsa elote was my cherry on top as the chili lime seasonings on it was so good not a single piece of kernel was left at all. They were quite busy but the staff worked each order diligently making sure if it all it was a very calming vibe. Thank you!

Located at Midtown Eats foodcourt on Keaaumoku is Sergs Mexican Kitchen. They have a great deal on Taco Tuesdays and serve 3$ tacos. The tacos are a little small in my opinion so if you are hungry order extra;) I like that they have a nice variety of proteins but the last 2 times I went the meat was a little dry. Friendly service and great location you can order tacos and have a drink at the bar inside the foodcourt. Friendly service.

Serg's is now at Midtown Eats, so you don't have to go all the way to Manoa. They have a huge menu and we had a hard time deciding what to order. We went with the taco salad with chicken $15.95 and a deep fried Twinkie $3.75. The taco salad came in a crispy flour shell, filled with black beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, queso fresco, guacamole and cilantro dressing. Two thumbs up for the taco salad. I was loving that cilantro dressing. You also can't go wrong with the fried Twinkie. It was hot and crispy right out of the fryer sprinkled with powdered sugar. The inside of the Twinkie was gooey goodness. Get the Twinkie!

Great Mexican option in town. Their chimichangas are STUFFED with meat. So worth the price. And so cute the staff gave my son a lollipop

What can I say ? Best Mexican hands down! Everything is amazing ! Rice always fluffy and seasoned right! Beans - yum- I have tried nachos, tacos, burritos- everything is solid and Serg is a great guy!

Loved it! We went to Midtown Eats and I wanted to try this and I'm so glad I did. The girl told me what she liked to order so I got that and it was really good! I got the chicken enchilada with green sauce. It was very tasty. The rice and beans were good too. There are lots of tables around as well, with air conditioning,

Serg's Mexican Kitchen was located in Midtown Eats, a new food court located at the base of a newly constructed luxury high rise. I decided to go here since my friend recommended their "DA CUZN" deep fried cali burrito. I don't think he remembered that I came from Southern California though, and therefore their burrito just wasn't up to standard. The fries in the burrito was soggy, and I wished there was more guacamole. The al pastor didn't have the seasoning kick either and seemed bland. Overall, was not really an authentic Mexican food experience. Can't recommend this place on good conscious.

If you like Serg's Manoa location, their new location is the same, but different. The carnitas flauta, rice, and beans were exactly how I remember them. The chimichanga looked and tasted the same too. It's the same menu, same food. The difference is everything else. Easy parking, indoor, air conditioned seating, a convenient location, and free salsa! While Manoa has fond memories, the next time I want Serg's I'll definitely head to k-town.

Mexican cuisine in Honolulu, Hawaii... The Grand Opening of Midtown Eats (Food Hall) is today, January 17, 2026, Saturday. Located on the Ground Level of The Park on Keeaumoku, parking in the structure is free for now. The entrance is on Liona Street. Later, the vendors will validate for 2 hours. One of the vendors is Serg's Mexican Kitchen, an established business. The original location of Serg's is in Manoa. I like this air-conditioned, spacious, clean, brightly lit environment better than the original location. Here at Midtown Eats, you'll find the same good quality and efficient, friendly service. The cashier even told me the door code for the women's restroom (6688*). I enjoyed the freshly grilled Fish Taco, horchata (non-dairy drink), and elote (corn). The horchata was not watered down and the corn was flavorful! Ordering on the kiosk was simple. I had the opportunity to choose grilled or battered fish. I also chose to have my elote with everything on it: mayonnaise, cheese, and tajin. Note: Cashless payment tends to avoid potential human errors such as making change for cash payments and forgetting to ask how you want your elote and fish taco!

    Enchiladas with shredded beef
    Francis K.

The Midtown Eats location has exactly the same menu as the original Manoa location; same taste and same friendly efficient service with the addition of lots of free parking and air conditioning. You park in the building, and you don't even need validation (I assume that will change in the future). The food is amazing, everything came out hot and fresh. We had the enchiladas with shredded beef and fajitas salad with steak. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge; I couldn't finish my enchiladas plate. The entire food hall is credit card only. There are many other eateries in the food hall, but somehow I always ended up eating at Serg's. If you haven't try Serg's at either locations, you should give it a try, I don't think you will regret it!

    Fried steak burrito (interior)

Mexican? Kinda. Unfortunately the food suffers from problems with basic cooking (dry chicken) to the definitely different like putting mashed potatoes in a burrito. Enchiladas (shredded chicken), a friends dish, he ate one bite of a dry enchilada, one soggy chip, but all of the rice saying it was actually good before discarding the rest. The fried burrito, a first! A cottage pie (a shepherd's pie with beef) with plenty of small chunks of beef and fat, mashed potato, a smear of guac, the smallest amount of salsa as veg, and lots of cheese). It's not Mexican but it was oddly addicting albeit different. Very easy kiosk ordering with a logical UI. Intuitive sub menus with all available customization for each dish easily understandable. Fulfillment within 20 minutes despite people ordering directly from the business instead of the kiosk. OK counter service. Be sure to grab utensils, salsa, hot sauce, etc before leaving. None in their packaging. Sustenance and better than the frozen stuff you'd find in a supermarket.

My Chicken Burrito with Black Beans & Mexican Rice.

Not my 1st rodeo with Serg's Mexican Kitchen, but it was my very first time with this new location of Serg's Mexican Kitchen at the Midtown Eats food court. I love this new location, as Serg's inside of the food court appears to be much cleaner than the original Manoa location. Same menu offerings with many delicious items, but as a creature of habit, I went straight for the burrito. Chicken burrito of course, as my burrito was loaded with grilled chicken, pico de gallo, & guacamole. Throw some hot sauce on da burrito, and ya got sustenance city baby!!!! My burrito plate also came with black beans & Spanish rice. This location is very popular & busy, but the wonderful staff was very friendly and efficient in serving all the hungry patrons. Jonesing for some Mexican? Give Serg's Mexican Kitchen a try!

    Birria taco 5/5 stars
    Jackie K.

New Serg's Kitchen location in Midtown Eats. It's located midway inside the new food court. Street level access which is located on the ground floor of The Park on Keeaumoku. I was recommended by its employee to try the Birria smoked meat taco. Freshly made to order. It was a big hit with me! A burst of smoked Birria meat and savory flavors explode into a perfect and delicious taco extraordinaire! Mind you, I don't enjoy onions in general, but this was sweet sautéed onions, the shredded smoked Birria meat, guacamole, and cilantro on a cheese covered crispy tortilla! A squeeze of lemon on top and you have a fiesta of flavors. This is a must try, but please try it hot and fresh off the grill! 5/5 stars. Side note: As I entered the food court, I was greeted by Yelp buddy Li Y. She was sweet enough to share a taste of the Nopales from Serg's. This is a side dish that is made with pickled onions, cactus, cilantro, and feta (?) cheese sprinkled on top. You need to enjoy pickled vegetables for this side dish. It's strongly flavored and not for the faint of heart. For myself, this was a 3/5 star rating. Disclosure, I'm not a pickled vegetable fan so this is good lol. Street parking and building parking available at The Park, however, I didn't notice any validation offered by the food vendors. One foodie enthusiast that I met there today, 01/09/26 said to us that the security guard informed him that there was no parking charge right now. Please call and check first if you decide to park your vehicle inside The Park. This location is a wonderful extension to the already popular Serg's Kitchens in East Manoa. Bathrooms are located near Mangiamo Gelato. You will need to request a bathroom code. Great attentive and friendly service here! 5/5 stars Support local!

Our son ordered the nachos appetizer as his main meal, my husband got the Mexico burrito, and I ordered the carnitas plate. I tried a bit of everyone's food, and honestly, we had zero complaints. Every dish was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The meat was tender, not overly salty or chewy at all. The guacamole was even creamy! To put the value into perspective: a few days earlier, I bought three carne asada tacos with very little meat from a food court in Waikiki, and they were only a few dollars cheaper than my entire, massive plate here. The pricing is incredible for the generous portions you get, making it a great budget friendly option compared to everywhere else we ate while visiting Honolulu. My husband even noted that he had never had Mexican food this good in the States especially considering Honolulu is so far from the border! He rarely raves about restaurants, so the fact that he's already talking about coming back makes this place an absolute must try.

But we were looking for something different, quick, and tasty. That's what we got at K-Mex HI although to be quite frank - the parking lot here is terrible! Mostly due to their location in the middle of the street with a handful of street parking locations shared with multiple other businesses down the lane. It took us 3 rounds of driving before we ended up deciding it was better to drop me off to order and pick up the food and have my man drive around into another larger parking lot to wait the 15-ish minutes it would take for our food to be ready. The owners were so nice. Answering all of my insistent questions, smiling when I ended up ordering something different from what they recommended on the menu (my bad - it's a question I ask all businesses even though I usually decide what I want beforehand LOL). They asked if I needed a bag, if I needed utensils and napkins, and even checked in on me while they made the food! Awesome service and I'm sure it would be the same if we decided to eat in. I liked the atmosphere. It was small but homely, clean, and there were a few small fish tanks in the corner! 15-ish minutes later, food packed up - I jumped back in the car and we drove down to South Shore Market in Ward to eat at the tables and take a glance if Ocean Taste's line was... long (it was). And let me tell you... the food? Delicious. The amount of food? Good for the price! And overall pretty darn great experience. I wasn't the biggest fan of the spicy pork (not my preference). But my fiancé liked it and his only comment was that it was a bit greasy for his liking. Reminded him he was in-fact eating spicy pork which is normally served on his plate lunch in a piece of tinfoil so the oil doesn't get everywhere! The carne asada was super delish along with the gochujang hot sauce cups we found at the bottom of the bag. I'd get K-Mex HI again if I was in the area but I'd love to see them in another location where I can more easily park!
