This place is awesome! They have deals throughout the week and I especially like the Tuesday and Saturday $16 taco and smoothie! What a steal! I have been here twice and enjoyed it both times. I got the Baja Bowl which I felt like the kale needed to be massaged--since it was a little rough to eat--and it needed a tad more dressing. The second time I got the breakfast tacos and mango sticky rice smoothie. The smoothie was really good! The tacos were yummy as well and I think that it would be even better with some picked onions on top. My review is not 5 stars since I do think that the food sometimes lack seasoning. However, this place is a great health food go to spot and I really do enjoy their food. It feels like a great price for the quality of ingredients and food you are getting. I will be back! King Cure is my fave omg. Still my go-to spot when I want a healthy green smoothie that tastes great. I love kombucha and the King Cure includes it in the drink so that's probably why I love it so much.. LOL! I've passed this place a few times and always wanted to try it. It looks like a pretty healthy local menu so I was so happy when my friend wanted to eat here. I'm always worried about parking in Kaimuki but there is a little lot right next to it which makes parking so easy! We went inside to look at the menu and order. And then we went to the window outside to pick up our food. They have indoor and outdoor seating but we chose to sit inside as it was a little cooler. Everyone working there seems very nice. I got the Baja bowl and my friend got the surfer bowl. The Baja bowl was so delicious! It has so many good-for-you ingredients but is also filling at the same time. Veggies were fresh and the pita was soft. I was really happy with the tacos I got here; my only thing was I felt like more attention could've been payed to the almonds that were just whole and put on the top of the tacos, it simply wasn't as pleasant as I know it could've been if given just a little tlc and creativity. I ordered the "maple mustard coconut bacon tacos" and changed the sauce because I'm not fond of syrup; I opted for a cilantro lime sauce with some help from the girls that worked here and I was actually really happy how the sauce paired with the tacos. In hindsight I would've added some hot sauce which they offer free on top or for I believe 50 cents on the side. My mom who does not eat vegan often said it was just a salad with bread around it LOL, she's not wrong but I still thought they were yummy and decently filling. At $11 for 2 tacos I'd come back. The service was good, and parking was easy. I found it odd that you have to exit the place where you order and sit at to get your food at the outdoor side window... which to be completely honest while inside in my bliss dancing and living my best life I completely forgot that she instructed me to get my food at the side window luckily Sylvia, the girl that took my order, graciously brought my food out to me. We cane to this place right after hiking the diamond head crater. Pictures in yelp review got me interested but the taste did not live up to the appearance. We got the surfer tacos and thai peanut tacos. Tacos with pita bread is an interesting idea but I did not care for it as much. Still a good spot if looking for vegetarian options in the area. This is my new favorite go to place! I love it here! This is my first time here but the food is so fresh and tasty. The service was amazing. Parking can be a challenge but not impossible. I came on a Tuesday where they have their bargain price of $16 for two tacos and a smoothie. I had the rainbow tacos that have a nice garlicky hummus with crunchy veggies along with a touch of sweetness with the plump blueberries. Not a huge fan of vegan tacos, the flavour profile is usually really similar and a bit one-dimensional to me, these were better than most vegan tacos I've ever had. The Beet Poke Salad is one of my favorites to get here. Every time I come, the staff is very nice and the food or smoothies come out quickly. I've been coming here for years. It was one of my favorite restaurants. I used to come once a week. But lately the quality of the food has gone downhill. I always order the rainbow tacos. Lately I never know what I'm going to get in my tacos. Today there were no carrots, cucumbers, blueberries and they used green cabbage instead of red. The tacos were white and brown instead of the usual rainbow colors. Also the dressing was so heavily applied, I didn't want to finish my meal. The hummus was also so minimal I could barely find it. I hope Leahi can be more consistent with how meals are prepared and if they run out of ingredients, they should just say they don't have that particular item. Also my king cure smoothie was very light colored and I don't think it has spirulina in it. My husband ordered the coffee date smoothie and he had hard pieces in his smoothie, like rocks, which he later figured out were crushed up date pits. I used to love Leahi and I just want them to be aware of how the dishes are coming out. read more

She no longer wants to order food from here for fair that she'll have something dangerous inside of her food again both my daughter and I had wonderful food, but I'm giving two stars for the fact that something dangerous was left inside of her taco. Plus she also said she had kale and no avocado, and it was advertised as a kale avocado taco. More attention should be made when preparing food. Luckily my friend did not get hurt from this incident. Most of their food is overstuffed with red cabbage. It's about $17 for the mock tuna bowl, and when I received it, I was shocked to find mostly veggies and rice and ONE TEENY TINY spoonful of chick pea "tuna". They should change the name to Mixed Salad with Chickpea Tuna Topping. I asked why it's so expensive and we get barely any tuna, and the cashier explained that the tuna is hard to make and involves an extensive process, which didn't seem accurate. Now that they've taken over the old veg stand, ordering is not done at the open window, you need to go inside to place your order and come back outside to pick up. Right here in Kaimuki Town, Leahi Health Kaimuki is located in the building that once housed Zane's Market, CakeLand, and JJ Bistro. They are located next to a Thai mini mart. They have been a long time presence in Kaimuki and focus on tasty sweet or savory soft taco offerings and delicious smoothies and drinks. Who would have thought a smoothie with beets and acai, carrots, orange, pineapple and chia would taste so refreshing. The deep purple smoothie was great! That with a rainbow taco which has carrot, Japanese cabbage, onion hummus and other goodies made for a delicious savory veggie delight. The third delight was their Leahi Keiki Sweet- which consists of a warm pita with almond butter, blueberries and agave drizzle. They though in some fruit slices too. They have a take out counter and some places to sit. The staff is friendly and the area is clean. Each of the orders bought today can definitely stand on their own. Vegetarian does not just mean munching on a celery stick with a glass of carrot juice. This place is my absolute favorite spot to stop for vegan grinds in Kaimuki. They have several different tacos which come with flatbread and are loaded beyond the brim with delicious local ingredients made into some really creative vegan treats. Order ahead and head to the beach! Each taco order comes with two and they are pretty big so you can even share. Or get two different items and swap one with your friends. Everything I've tried is great, the kale and avocado tacos with coconut bacon keep me coming back every time. They're also really great about removing items for dietary restrictions.
