Tried to see if they were open today. They are closed until 7/25/26!! Even though Google says they are open, wait until 7/26! :(

Good Vietnamese spot in Kaimuki. Wasn't busy at lunch time on a Friday. We sat ourselves and they took our order right away and we didn't converse the rest of the meal. You go up to the counter to pay but they do make sure your water is filled. It's quiet inside, not many people conversing. I got the bbq chicken vermicelli and had leftovers. I added a lot of chili oil and sriracha. It was fresh and tasted great. Chicken was cooked well.

We were looking for pho in the Kaimuki area and after reading reviews, decided to try someplace new. Luckily, we found parking right in front of the restaurant on Waialae Avenue. We came around 5:30 on a weekend and there were a few tables already seated. For an appetizer, we ordered summer rolls which come 2 to an order and the owner said rather than ordering 2 orders (since I wanted shrimp and my husband wanted tofu), he offered to do one order with one shrimp and one tofu. Wrapped in rice paper with fresh mint, sprouts, lettuce, and vermicelli they were delicious. The best part was their special peanut sauce, which was a generous and oh so tasty! I had a small bowl of pho with sliced steak which came with a heaping side of fresh basil, sprouts, lemon, and peppers. My husband had a tofu stir fry which was so big, he took half of it home. Both dishes were very good. While we were eating, the phone was constantly ringing with take out orders and a steady stream of people coming it to pick up their food. It was obvious they were repeat customers and chatted warmly with the staff there. By the time we left, the restaurant was filling up. I can see why since the food was delicious, prices reasonable, and service exceptional. We will be back!

Been wanting to try here for a bit and finally got a chance to! We did takeout so won't speak on service, but on a Friday evening, it was pretty busy inside. I walked in place my to go order and got it in 20 minutes. Inside is homey and cute and casual. I got the spicy lemongrass banh mi, bbq chicken banh mi, and bbq pork cold noodle salad. Each banh mi was less than $10, which i appreciate the price point! The bread was a bit hard, but maybe because it was later in the day. The lemongrass tofu was yummy but the bbq chicken and pork were both a bit dry, and I felt the cold noodle salad could have done with more veggies and herbs. Will have to try the pho next time! Based on what I ordered, it was average Vietnamese food.

I don't know why I took so long to come back to Saigon's, up in Kaimuki town. I have to say that I had the most wonderful Vietnamese sandwich (banh-mi) @ Saigon's. My original plans were to meet my friend - Shirley W. @ "No Name Sandwich" on 8th Ave. up Kaimuki town, but when I got there, the sandwich shop was unexpectedly closed that day, so plan "B" was Saigon's. In reality, Saigon's should have been plan "A", because the food here is fabulous, and it's reflected of the strong following this restaurant has, as the day we came here, the restaurant was packed w/folks during the lunch hour. Upon getting seated and looking over Saigon's extensive menu, I stuck with my plan on getting a Vietnamese Sandwich & got the Spicy Chicken Lemon Grass banh-mi. On the other hand, my friend changed her plans once she looked over the menu and proceeded to nix da sandwich idea. Instead, she went with the Cold Vermicelli Cold Noodles with Grilled BBQ Tofu dish. What can I say about the grub? Although my sandwich did not taste spicy at all, I must say that the marinade for my chicken sandwich was outstanding! It was one of da BESTEST Banh-Mi's I ever had, and I ain't joking. As for my friend, she said that she really enjoyed her cold noodle dish. The restaurant was clean, service here was on point, and the prices here was pretty affordable. Parking to get to this restaurant is either metered street parking, paid municipal parking, or if you're extremely lucky, neighborhood parking with a little walking involved. Lol! Looking for ono Vietnamese food? Saigon's my friends!

My fave Vietnamese restaurant! I always order the cold noodles which never disappoints! My friend ordered ban min sandwich and she said it was awesome! They've got a good amount of tables and quick service too. This was always my fave lunch spot and still is a great place to grab good food and go or dine in.

I've been coming here for years and can't believe I never reviewed it. This is definitely a five star restaurant for Vietnamese food. We ordered the tofu and vegetable pho and vermicelli with lemon grass chicken and spring rolls. The pho's broth is tasty and portions are very generous. I believe good broth is key to a good pho. The lemon grass chicken is delicious and spring rolls nice and crispy. Most dishes are around $14 and its worth it for the quality and quantity you get. The service here has always been excellent. Whether you eat in or order takeout, they are always so accommodating and conscientious. If you're craving good Vietnamese food, Saigon's Restaurant is the place to go!!

Papaya salad & tofu rolls for take out.

Mostly I do take orders. Sometimes dine in. They are always very friendly and their dishes are very good with consistent. They get so busy at times and their phone does not go through sometimes but I would recommend to anyone. Their portion is generous. Love this place!

First time here and it didn't disappoint. Parking can be a challenge, but there are many paid parking lots in Kaimuki. We came on a weekday a little after 12:00 and the restaurant was about half full. We seated ourselves and waited a few minutes for the server to come and bring waters and menus. When he returned, we decided on our lunch choices which were shrimp summer rolls, and shrimp papaya salad. Both were very delicious and affordable. Within 10 minutes after we ordered the restaurant was completely full. It seems like a very popular place. The service was good and the restaurant is clean. The next time I come, I would like to try the pho.

Today I got to try their summer rolls & shredded chicken sandwich and they were great. It really seemed like a healthy food and I really felt clean and nice after eating such healthy food. Also, the service was very friendly and helpful.

I heard they will keep this space for special events. The restaurant is quite busy and I'm glad we had reservations. Good thing I was there prior to lunch hour opening, otherwise we may lose our reservations since the person who made reservations tends to be habitual in arriving late. We dined in May, but it's been awhile since I first dined here. I preferred dining in Chinatown during lunch time than at dinner. Our waiter was really nice and helpful. I forgot his name, but I remembered that his eyeglasses that he wore was cool/funny, since the frames for each eye didn't match the other eye! lol. Funny it wasn't me who first noticed it. One was square frame and the other was a round frame! The restaurant doesn't do anything special for birthdays except may write Happy Birthday in chocolate on the dessert plate that you purchase for the birthday person. Their desserts are unique and refreshing. I think there are some rotating desserts /flavors like their seasonal menu for their main menu. I guess you can always keep coming back without being bored of the menu! I was bummed to see a previous dish posted of a pasta that I wanted to try that wasn't on the current spring seasonal menu! When we dined for brunch over the weekend, I was able to get the Hainan chicken with the crispy roast pork combo. It was very filling , tasty and satisfying. I do love ginger sauce on the cold ginger chicken but sometimes the chicken is just okay. This Hainan chicken was really good and the chicken was really moist! I thought it was the best I've tried! It was good that I wanted to takeout one last time in August before they moved! No more the 50/50 combo with the crispy roast pork on the lunch menu during the weekday. It was on the spring menu. Of course it's best to eat it in the restaurant than for take out. Bathroom is a must for me when dining out and they had only one shared bathroom for everyone! There was a guy who tried to make several attempts but wasn't successful, since there was always someone in the restroom. I'm glad the waiter told me there was a bigger separate bathroom with several stalls for men and ladies upstairs. You go straight through the kitchen to catch the elevator and to another kitchen /storage area! Thank Goodness! Best wishes at your new location. You offer yummy and tasty food!

Although their Banh Mi was not as delicious and flavorful as I expected, their Pho was the exact opposite of that. They give you a generous amount of broth and their portions of greens was beyond enough (maybe a little bit too much for one serving). The last food item to talk about are their Spring Rolls. It wasn't anything too special compared to your usual Spring Rolls, but I will say that their dipping sauce and everything else that comes with it (rice noodles, cucumbers, cabbage, carrots) made it so that you could easily make it a meal vice an appetizer. If you're looking for a cozy place to have dinner, their space was a bit crowded but if you're okay with then this place is good. Just be warned that their prices are a little bit on the higher side in my opinion and be prepared for long wait times to receive your order.

In this crazy rainy weather, we wanted something warm and hearty. We got here at 5 pm on a Thursday and got a table. We ordered rare beef pho, chicken pho, and their crispy noodle dish with chicken. My beef pho had a nice strong spice taste. I added hoisin and sriracha to my broth for a nice addition. The crispy noodle dish reminded me of cake noodles the way the chicken and vegetables were in a thick gravy. Service was easy and quick. They got our orders in quickly, brought the food out quickly, and got us on our way without being overly pushy. Parking is easy, plentiful, and convenient in Manoa Marketplace. Pho viet is located on the second floor and there are stairs as well as an elevator to get up. I like eating here when I don't want to go downtown and deal with lots of people. It's a quiet area and a big open inside space. There were tvs without sound if you wanted to watch something.

I thought to myself, Oohh if this food is good I would definitely come back because this place is a vibe. It has a bar area so it would make a good place to go for drinks after work. Unfortunately the sandwich price is on what I consider the high side and only because of the lack of meat. I think I would go back and try their pho but now I don't want to be disappointed
