Good banh mis and pho. Quality is consistent and with nicely sized portions- the Vietnamese iced coffee has been a little too syrupy though! Pho Saigon stays busy and the restaurant staff are on the ball. Easy location from the interstate so you can grab and go, like me! read more

The one entree that I tried Grilled Pork Vermicelli w/Egg Roll was good over all Service was quick since there wasn't many customers to wait on. Only disappointment was That the menu wasn't as extensive as the other Vietnamese Restaurant that I've been to. Good place for smaller groups of 4 or less. read more

Pho Saigon has amazing pho! Probably the best broth in Milwaukee, although I do feel like they don't give you as much meat as they used to and have gotten pricier than other pho places in town. Even so, this is a great pho spot and I recommend it to everyone! We get it to go usually and they pack it up perfectly. However, we don't mind eating here either, as it's a decently nice place to sit and eat as well. read more

I've eaten here about 40 times, and the food is always excellent and super consistent. I get pho pretty much every time. Theirs is the best in town, in my opinion. My favorite pho is their combo, P2. I highly recommend it. read more

5 for the food, 1 for the service & ambience. I've been going here for around 2 years now and the old owners were great. Excellent service and delicious food- clean interior too, even though it was nothing special. Now, the food is pretty much the same (at least what I order). Crispy crab rangoons, delicious pho, vermicelli bowls, and banh mis. But the service has gone down the toilet. It's so bad now that even when I'm craving Pho Saigon, I rarely go in. The food is out quickly, but that's because the kitchen rocks, not the servers. No smiles, no greetings, and never a single response to 'thank you'. They just seem pissed you even walked in the door. There are two exceptions to this- the elderly staff there are extremely kind and prompt with service. It's a shame they're not servers and do more BOF work. There were also two new teen servers the last time I was there who were very friendly and provided excellent service. I hope they replace the two usual servers so everyone can enjoy this place again! The space has also gone down in regard to cleanliness. The bathroom is downright scary and the whole dining area looks like it could use a good scrubbing. read more

Ever since we visited at the suggestion of a friend, Pho Saigon has been our go-to place for Vietnamese food in Milwaukee, mostly because of its solid pho and vermicelli noodle bowls. With a bright and clean dining space, reasonable prices, good service, and classic menu choices, there is little more I could ask for. My typical order is either the pho combo (P2) or the grilled pork vermicelli with egg roll (V1), and it's usually a very difficult decision that largely depends on the weather (who can resist a hot bowl of noodle soup on a cold/rainy day...). And we almost always start with an order of spring rolls (A1) served with a delicious peanut sauce. For me, the regular size pho is perfect for me, but my husband usually upgrades his pho to a large. Most recently, we called in a take-out order due to COVID-19, and I was impressed by the effort taken to pack all the different components of the pho in various containers. I was most surprised by the small bag of raw thin-sliced steak, and I appreciated the steps they were taking to keep the pho experience as true as possible. (However, I think for takeout, I'd personally prefer that they just pre-cook it with the other meat due to the questionable heat of the soup after the drive home). I will also never take for granted the ease and simplicity of a dine-in bowl of pho! #yelplove read more

Pho Saigon - take-out order of spring rolls, pho combo, and grilled pork vermicelli - Vietnamese Near Me - West Allis, Wisconsin

I heard that ownership of this place changed recently and gave it a try with my family (5). It didn't disappoint. We tried the spring rolls, the spicy chicken wings, the grilled pork bahn mi, the pho, the crispy egg noodle with seafood, and lotus root salad with shrimp and pork. We also tried out their boba, which I think is one of the best in the city. Best thing about this place are the prices- you get a lot of food for what you pay, everything tastes great and all the food had nice presentation. Service is also super friendly and the workers are very attentive. TLDR: the food, prices, and service are great and I plan to go back often and will recommend to anyone interested in Vietnamese food in Milwaukee. We had the shrimp and grilled pork spring rolls and while they were on the smaller side, they didn't skimp on the meat portion and was very good. The spicy chicken wings were also really crispy and juicy. The bahn mi was also super good. I think they use the same grilled pork as the spring rolls but the bread was super soft and it was a solid bahn mi. They also offer a half or a full foot long which is a nice option for sharing. The pho was great! We tried one in store and brought one home for take out. They package the pho for takeout super nicely, with each ingredient separate and include hoisin sauce and hot sauce. Overall, was really happy with how they served the pho both in store and for takeout. The crispy egg noodle did look pretty different from the pictures in the menu but it was surprisingly good. The noodles were super crispy and chewy and it came with lots of vegetables and meat (we chose the seafood option). I'm not a big fan of Vietnamese salads (I've had bad experiences with other places being too fishy) but the lotus root salad with shrimp and pork was also very tasty. It tastes very fresh and summer-y and the rice cracker that came with it suits the dish- really well changed up each bite. Finally, the boba was amazing!! I will say that it is on the more expensive side but the drinks were super strong so it tastes better as the ice melts. I had the Thai green tea, which you can't find anywhere else in the city and it was super flavorful and creamy and sweet. I can't stop thinking about it. My brothers tried the Thai tea and peach tea and they were also super good. My brother said the peach tea tastes like an Arizona but that really pales in comparison. It comes with fresh peaches and tastes super fresh. I recommend the Thai green tea for anyone looking for something more mellow and creamy and the peach tea for anyone who wants something more tart and sweet. It's the perfect companion for your meal or as a dessert so make sure to give it a try! read more

This is one of the best Vietnamese places we've ever gone to! Everything on the menu is good - the bahn mi, the beef salad, any of the vermicelli, spring rolls - seriously you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The customer service is always exceptional, too. We've ordered take out and have also eaten in - both experiences were great. Cannot recommend this place enough! read more

Came in with my husband. Service was fast which I was happy about because I did have somewhere to be. The reviews were high and so we gave it try. The meat came out burned and clumped together. Which didn't set the tone for the rest of the dish. We both got vermicelli. It was also pay at the counter which is fine. But no one tells you that. So we felt silly at check out time. I did like the seating arrangement. Didn't feel to clustered! Was disappointed over all. read more

Don't let this place fool you. Yes, it's clean. Yes, it's authentic. It's not everyday you hear these words put together to describe a local pho spot, but this place is it. I've been here a few times and the service has always been good. The employees treat you well. The pho broth is good. Honestly, I'm not a pho connoisseur and the condiments are there for your liking. I've enjoyed the pho Everytime I've gone. It keeps me coming back. Price is a little on the high side for pho but it's also in line with some other restaurants in town. Just on the high side. read more

We ordered the #1 Pho (Beef)-first off liked that they had a regular and a large size Trust me the regular is big enough. The amount of protein was perfect and the broth was tasty. They had many sauces available too that are nice to add for some kick. It was a very good Pho! We also has the Spring rolls and they were REALLY GOOD. Probably the best peanut sauce I have had (ever). The server was very nice and the food came out super quick which we appreciated. They also have a healthy # of parking spots which is great and everything was clean. Will definitely come back. read more

This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant on Greenfield Ave street. Great costumer service, food is great, waiter and new owner was polite and kind .Lives up to the name of authentic Vietnamese food. I recommend showing the waiter the picture of my food and try the dish out! It's a must have. Go ahead and do your self a favor and try something other than Pho here (though the Pho here is also SO GOOD), but they have so many other delicious hot pot but only for togo to try..and their shrimp mango salad is just like the ones I had in Vietnam Will come back soon! read more

Very tasty pho noodle soup, period. Looked like popular place for lunch. Difficulty to find an open parking around noon. One of the restaurant staff came out and instructed us to park in front of another care, basically blocked it. Sounded like we blocked a staff's car. Open and clean lobby with very simple decor. Ordering was quick. We got appetizer- Fried calamari for sharing. I went for Pho combo but asked to remove meat ball but add tendon. Fried Calamari was good but a bit bland. My pho was flavorful and it was I would expect in a tasty bowl of Pho. Perfect portion for my lunch. I drank some soup which was nicely not overly seasoned. However I could only locate one piece of tendon in my soup. Where was the extra one I asked for? Services were outstanding and quick. Taking away one star due to the missing tendon piece and bland Calamari. Will dine here again for sure. read more

The food here was fantastic. Plenty on the menu to choose from and a great selection of drinks too. We are big Vietnamese food fans, and this place was a real winner. We tried the spring rolls, crispy quail, pork chop rice plate, and shaking beef with noodles. Everything was excellent. Washed it down with a avocado smoothie (with boba) and a passion fruit soda. Service was prompt and friendly. We'll be back if we are in that area again! read more

Really sorry to write this review. Been getting their Pho to go for a long time and it's great. Today they told me there was a three dollar charge for carry out. Really! Three dollars extra when I am driving there to pick up? I will never go back. read more

Amazing food and great service! The staff is always friendly when I order from here. They also have great boba tea.

A solid bowl of pho. That's all. That's the review. (Ok, well maybe not.) I got a #10 combo - hearty, good amount of meat, and plenty of noodles. Plates of condiments/herbs to throw in. Had spring rolls as appetizers are those always hit the spot - herbs were fresh and the shrimp was cooked just right. You're not going to be wowed by the decor or ambiance. But you will enjoy the feeling as if you're eating in a family member's home, knowing that the broth and the food was made from scratch. The pho was very much that, simple, tasty, and from the heart. Service was fast and friendly. As winter/fall rolls in, I know that I'll be craving a bowl of soup sometime during our ever so long winter and that I will not hesitate to come back in and indulge on a giant bowl of pho. read more

Just had to stop in after reading a Yelp review about the Bahn Mi sandwich. I'm a huge fan of these sandwiches and the Market in Milwaukee is small. So when I heard they serve them I jumped at the chance to go. The Bahn mi had all the elements you want a good Bahn mi sandwich to have. The amazing French bread crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. I ordered the Special" which is typically 3 different types of pork and this was exactly how they served it. There was pickled carrots, daikon and cucumber along with fresh cut jalapeños which always gives the sandwich a nice crunch as you bite into it. If you like it spicy ask for extra jalapeños!!!Fresh sprigs of cilantro top off the sandwich and usually some mayo lightly spread on one side of the bread complete it. There Bahn Mi was on point. Quite tasty and delicious! I ordered mine to go and it was still perfect by the time I got home and ate it. The foot long is the better bang for the buck and it will fill you up or leave you with leftovers for later! I will definitely go back for another sandwich someday but would also love the try their Pho someday. The smell of the Pho broth filled the air when I entered the restaurant. I was greeted immediately and the staff was very friendly! They even offered me water while I waited for my to go order. Overall, I am very happy about my lunch today and can't wait to go back! It's nice to have found another restaurant that serves these bánh mì sandwiches seeing theso few and far between. Update: 6/21/19 Love, love, love the special Bahn Mi!!!! Stopped in to get a 6 inch with some egg rolls. It's absolutely delicious!!! The bread on the sandwich is perfect. It bread comes out warm but has great crunch. The meats are superb. Every thing about this sandwich is divine. Just ask for extra jalapeños if you like it spicy!!! read more

My cousin took me here because I originally wanted pho but then I changed my mind last minute and ordered the bun with pork, shrimp and an eggroll. For the price, everything seemed typical. I ordered spring rolls which were just okay to me. I wish they had added more than just the noodles, some lettuce and shrimp. The sauce that comes with it is great! As far as the bun goes, this was huge! They cut up the noodles in the bowl which I actually prefer because it makes it easier to eat. The eggroll (in my bun) just seemed mediocre. My cousin ordered a Banh mi which I enjoyed a bite. The bread comes out warm and toasty, lots of veggies. I'd totally come back for a Banh mi and to try their pho! read more

Clean, affordable, and great service! Came here for dinner on a cold evening and was impressed. The restroom was clean and the tables were clean. Ordered the Pho Tai and was impressed at the quality. I however, think the broth was not as flavorful as other places i have tried. The Crab Ragoons were great! Stopped by on a Wednesday evening for dinner and it was very pleasant. Usually I'll get pho at a pho place but I decided to go for the Bun Bo Hue. Also ordered some beef rolls. I don't eat Bun Bo Hue to know what good is but the dish at Pho Saigon was flavorful. It came with a huge neckbone and a lot of meat. Good portion that'll fill you up. Customer service was on point. The workers there were really friendly and polite. Definitely will have to go back and try the pho and bahn mis. read more

Since all my favorite "go to" pho shops have changed owners and the food has become inconsistent. I've been devastated not having my weekly pho dates with the husband and friends. I am so happy to have found Pho Saigon. The pho is always on point. Consistent and delicious! All the staffs are extremely fast and friendly and the service couldn't be any better. The atmosphere is homey as everyone greets you the minute you walk in. Price is average but who's really complaining when the staffs are that amazing right? Cleanliness is 100%. No sticky table and they also do a good job at keeping the sauce bottles clean. Definitely recommend it! read more

Very good food at good prices. I tried some soup, a beef sandwich, chicken wings. Everything was delicious.

Food was good and the atmosphere was nice. Service was quick and we did not have to wait long

This used to be my go to place on nights when we'd do laundry. Since changing hands, the quality and the service has drastically nose dived. The food quality is noticeably less than it used to be. The servers are extremely rude and judgemental. I understand I don't look "a certain way" when I'm in a hoodie and joggers out doing laundry, but to be blatantly treated poorly? You can take your crappy, tasteless pho and shove it! No sir. I will not be coming back. I can't help but notice they aren't busy like they used to be. It's no wonder why. read more

First off, I grew up in the LA area and was severely spoiled with tons and tons of AWESOME pho restaurants around me at extremely affordable prices. I wanted a good pho place I could frequent when I moved here and was recommended to go to Pho Saigon. I had high expectations going in because my friends were raving about it. I have to say that it was just okay... I mean I got my pho cravings satisfied, but the pho combo I got skimped out on the meat more than what I was used to in SoCal, especially for the price. The spring rolls were a disappointment... there was just vermicelli, shrimp, and iceberg lettuce (?!!?!). There was zero flavor to it that I kept saturating it completely with the peanut sauce. I missed the mint and the basil and the carrots inside the spring rolls! Overall, I thought it's an okay place to get a bowl of pho when you're really desperate for a bowl that reminds you of LA, but otherwise I don't think I'll go out of my way to come here...unless I'm stuck in the Midwest for the next 5+ years . read more
