The pho dishes are the best in Milwaukee. Authentic flavors with the traditional add-in options. I usually get the P.1 or P.2 with additional meatballs. It's typically enough for 2 portions which is generous. We haven't found a better place to enjoy this comfort food. The service is always fast and friendly as well. read more

Have ordered here twice now and have been quite impressed with the food. The beef vermicelli is quite good, as is the lemongrass beef.

I go here for lunch when I need my pho fix and it always does the trick. Nothing really special about this place. Your typical pho joint. But, service is always friendly and quick! read more

Best crab Rangoon I've ever had. Pho was perfect. Ambiance and derive are lacking, but the food more than makes up for this.

The pho broth is lacking flavor and the egg rolls are bland. Even with sauce. For two large to go with egg rolls was $45. Just not worth it anymore. Sorry. read more

Very good service and good food! I haven't had pho since moving here from Southern California half a year ago. I forgot to fulfill my craving of pho and banh mi when I went home for the holidays, so I looked to Pho Saigon to fill that void. It was very satisfying! I just had a simple pho with rare flank steak. The to-go noodles were very easy to separate once the broth was poured in. I added a few bean sprouts and chili sauce with some lime and it reminded me of eating pho back home. If you have left over broth, please don't throw it out but save it for later and drink it. The star of pho is the broth, and it should be savored. Will definitely be coming back!!! read more

Delicious! I got the chicken pho to go but that doesn't take away from the experience they package it all up so nicely and by the time I got home it was still boiling hot! And I had all my fixings to adjust it to my liking read more

GREAT pho! I've tried a couple different broths and they have all been great. I craved the chicken pho when I was pregnant! The spring rolls are also delicious - the peanut sauce it comes with is insane. I have always picked up the food for take out, but it's definitely on my to do list to eat in-house as well. I would definitely say the pho "to go" holds up well and tastes great at home. read more

Ordered Pho meatballs to go and a Bahn Mi. Pho was excellent. Banh Mi was good but a little too sweet for me. Would go again.

I have never been a fan of pho. My wife has tried for years to get me to like it.... I've tried many Pho's. Unimpressed, but this place.... I'm now addicted!!!! It's LEGIT!!!! I now appreciate what a real pho is. During COVID we ordered our diner during the lunch hour. Everything was packed separately so we were able to prepare our bowls at home from scratch. It was great!!! My only recommendation for this establishment is that they wrap their fresh spring rolls in a wrap for to-go orders so the rice paper does not dry out. Otherwise this place is worth a visit for sure! Support local people!!! read more

The food here is pretty good, I had the V5 beef and shrimp needles with egg rolls and an order of the Spring Rolls. The portion was plenty for me and I'm a big guy. Will be coming back to try the Pho pretty soon. read more

Best pho in Milwaukee! Will not be disappointed. Also great Bahn Mi sandwiches. Just note they are currently closed according to a sign taped on the door until March 20, 2022 read more

The workers are so polite. The food is very fast coming out of the kitchen, but taste so good and so fresh. The pho ingredients are fresh and light. You will get a lot of flavor of whatever combination you make from your pho but it doesnt make you feel heavy. Basically, you will leave satisfied. Good price for a lot of food. They have bubble tea here as well. read more

Stop in for the best Pho in town. Staff is great and it takes no time to get your food. You won't regret!

The food is quite properly done and good as any PHO in town but their prices are 25% higher. the restaurant opened just before quarantine and became popular for carryout. With popularity they increased prices another $1. They sell $10 Pho for$15. Beware menus do not show new prices. Overpriced. read more

4 stars for the food. 1 star for service hence the 2 start rating. We've been here twice. We've had a variety of pho and appetizers and it's always been very fresh and portions are decent size. The service was crappy the first time. The service was crappier the second time. It was different servers each time. On the most recent visit, you can tell the server who was also the hostess had an attitude upon entering the restaurant. He had Airpods in and clearly didn't want anything to do with work. We ordered pot stickers and didn't get any soy sauce on the side. We didn't get chopsticks or spoons to eat the pho, only forks. We ordered two pho's and only received one plate of sides (bean sprouts, jalapeno peppers, etc) until we asked for a second. When he delivered the two appetizers and pho, he would just set it at the end of the table and walk away. There was not one follow-up after taking our order, delivering the food, and delivering the check. And due to the crap service, we will never go here again. If you're looking for a pho place, there is another place that is only a few miles away that is just as good with much better service. There are also plenty of options in the Milwaukee burbs. read more

Was driving through West Allis a couple years back, got hungry, and randomly stumbled across this humble restaurant. It has become one of my favorite restaurants and coming from an authentic foodie it definitely means a lot. I've had plenty of pho in different cities and states.. The pho here is by far my favorite I've ever had so every time I go anywhere else I'm disappointed. Their Spicy Grandfather Wings are also in my top 5 wings. Their short ribs are delicious. Their crispy chicken is also great. Their Mongolian dish and everything else on the menu is amazing. The food comes out so fast and the service is also great. If you're looking for a authentic Vietnamese restaurant trust me this place is it. read more

Desperate to have a great pho experience, what was great was the service. But the pho experience wasn't the most tip top, because while the broth was OK, and there was nothing to complain about the ingredients and garnishes, it seemed too much like the broth and meats and garnishes were icing on the cake, but there was WAY too much cake (i.e., noodles). Very appealing presentation, but just too much dense noodly-ness down bottom, and it wasn't appealing, and it got left behind. read more

My husband & I decided to check this place out because it was new and it used to the old Sammy's hot dog location. They remodeled the interior and it was light & airy. We were seated right away. They have a decent menu and you are bound to find something you will like on there. I ordered the pho - the broth was very tasty. It is one of the better pho's I've had in the Milwaukee area. My husband ordered the wings (because he loved chicken) and gobbled it up in no time. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. read more

Stop by for lunch with a co-worker. Service was polite and fast. My colleague had Dumplings and Pho with Chicken. Huge portions. I have a Beef Vietnmese Sandwich. Go with the smaller size unless you are very hungry. Also had the Shrimp Spring Rolls, large with fresh ingredients. Second time dining here. Fast and friendly service. There seemed to be no shortage of patrons when we dined in. Staffs were wearing face mask, but they didn't seem to distance seating arrangements. Reasonable pricing for your typical Vietnamese dishes. I ordered the vermicelli noodle salad. The pork was delicious, the sauce tasted okay, the egg roll was bland (veggie filled, no meat nor clear noodle). We also ordered a Thai bubble tea that tasted great, it was rich and creamy. Their pork Banh Mi sandwich was very good, good meat portions. Pho was average, good but not the best in town. Good location on Greenfield and one block east of Hwy100, plenty of parking. read more

I am obsessed! My family and I went to this restaurant and we tried a little bit of everything (sneak peak- everything was yummy). For appetizers we tried the chicken dumpling and egg rolls which were both crispy without being over cooked! I preferred the dumplings, but that's just me. For the meal - two of us got Pho (amazing noodles and the broth was to die for)! One serving of vermicelli which was my personal favorite and absolutely delicious! First time customer. Wife got a hair in her Pho and the first bite into a spring roll I get a hair in mine? Are hair nets not a thing? I came here for the first time with my friends to check out the new pho place near Tosa. We were expecting nothing very serious but we were blown away by what we discovered. The pho was so flavorful and delicious, especially when you add your own twist to it. You know a pho is good when the base broth is already perfect and all you have to adjust is your own sweetness or spiciness. I have gone there quite a few times since their opening and I have not been disappointed nor has anyone else that has joined me. I not only had their pho but also their grilled pork and vermicelli noodles and thought it was so good. I just recently returned from Vietnam where I enjoyed many a vermicelli noodle bowl and the set ups are very different but I preferred the vermicelli noodle bowl from Pho Saigon over the ones in Vietnam (more flavorful, sorry Vietnam). I am very excited to enjoy their food again in the future! read more

On a cold winter's day, the likes of which I've become familiar with during my first year in Milwaukee, there's nothing like a bowl of pho or bun bo hue to soothe and warm the soul. In summer, bun thit nuong provides a refreshing yet satisfying bite. Pho Saigon carries many of these classic dishes in a family-run, homey setting. While I've certainly had better Vietnamese food in other cities, Pho Saigon is probably one of the better places in Milwaukee and has dedicated, hardworking owners that provide the best level of service I've experienced at a pho place. That's what keeps my friends and I coming back time after time to seek those comforting savory flavors that we are familiar with. Pho Saigon has a convenient location on a corner in West Allis, with ample parking even when the restaurant is full (as it often is). The restaurant itself is not especially large, but has booths and tables and was able to accommodate a large table of 10 when my friends and I came for the cash mob event a few months ago. There's also a carry-out counter in the back; takeaway used to work through their site but as of my most recent order I was informed that this is temporarily not working, so you may have to call in (ymmv). Picking up food is convenient and orders are prepared quickly. Usually my friends and I just stick to the classic dishes, though I hope to try some of the other offerings on the menu in the future. The cha gio (fried egg rolls) [$5.95] come in an order of 3 and I was surprised at the inclusion of taro, but as a taro lover I thought these eggrolls were fantastic and generously portioned. Campaigning for taro in eggrolls to be more of a thing, please! As I got these to-go, I'm not sure that they include the traditional lettuce and herbs on the side when dining in. I missed those, but these eggrolls were delicious on their own. My go-to orders are the pho dac biet (special) [$13.95] or pho tai, nam, bo vien, gan (combo) [$10.95], since I love a variety of meats and absolutely must have brisket and tendon in my pho. As I touched on briefly before, it's not the best pho I've ever had, but it is still good- just less depth of flavor and slightly less generous portions than I'm used to, but I recognize this isn't a city where Vietnamese food is widespread or ingredients are easy to source, so I'm inclined to be forgiving of this. You can customize the quantity of meats and noodles, as well as upgrade to a larger size. The pho is served with all the right accoutrements- jalapeno, lime, bean sprouts, and basil (would love some mint too but it's not a major thing!). There's truly nothing better on a winter day. I also order their banh mi thit nuong (grilled pork sub) [$5.95] quite frequently; it's [$3] extra for a large and I find that makes a filling meal. It's not the style of banh mi that I'm used to- the bread is closer to a hoagie roll than a crusty baguette- but it definitely fulfills the craving. I'm also a huge fan of bun heo nuong & cha gio (grilled pork vermicelli with egg rolls) [$10.95] and I think it's kind of the same sentiment as with the pho- great for Milwaukee, average compared to bigger cities, fills that void in my soul that cries out for these dishes on an embarrassingly consistent basis. For those looking to branch out from pho, I think bun (the noodle dishes, not bun like a bread) is a great way to start. What I love though, is the level of service at Pho Saigon. No matter what day or what time, the same older man is working tirelessly to serve all the tables, make sure that water is refilled, and checking that customers are happy with the food. Meanwhile, I get tired just walking to the freezer to get an ice cream bar and go back to bed, and supposedly I'm at the peak of my energy and health right now...this man is far more the picture of youth than I'll ever be. He manages the carry-out orders, too! I can't fathom how exhausting it must be for him, but when I mentioned it to him after coming here a number of times, he just shrugged it off as what he's supposed to do, in that nonchalant older Asian type of way. I hope he can have a vacation soon...! But knowing my people, I'm sure he will continue working and welcoming customers for time eternal, and well, given how often I come here, I'm grateful for his dedication. As we prepare to move into another change of the seasons, Pho Saigon will certainly be a trusty standby on my list of comfort foods. read more

They are still working the kinks out. After being seated, server came back 10 minutes later to take drink order and I had to ask a different server if we could place our order after another 10 minutes. Our server came hurriedly to the table a few minutes later. We saw food 15 minutes later with the chicken wing appetizer which was freshly fried, hot and good. They forgot the sauce. We asked a server who also manned the checkout area if she would kindly bring us some sauce and napkins. My Pho came out next, which was in good time, about 10 minutes after the chicken, but my husband's Shrimp Fried Rice was not out after another 10 minutes. I asked the same server, who was the #2 server if he could find out where the soda and the fried rice was. Well, 10 minutes later the soda and fried rice come out. No apologies! We hadn't planned on a 90 minute lunch. We noticed 6 tables check out while we were in the twilight zone. 4 of them had discussions about their checks. The 20% offer from Facebook that was to go through 4/6 was not active, server #2 said that was wrong. We showed him, he said it ended early and walked away. We also had an awkward situation closing out check. Like most Viet restaurants in this area, they bring the check to the table, but you go to the counter or bar area to pay. Here there is no room to even sign your credit card receipt, stuff all over the place. I actually moved things to sign out. They offer 4% discounts for paying with cash. Purposely cluttered? The server at the counter verbally reviews all the items on the check. It's cumbersome and a little odd. Quick note on food - Pho was warm, I prefer hot. It's on the sweeter side. Tenderloin in it is great, but not a lot of the meats. Shrimp fried rice was good according to Hubs, had 8 medium shrimp. I think Pho Viet has better food, we won't be back. read more

We stopped here because I wanted Pho and I kept driving by the place. Great for a quick visit! My partner is picky with his Asian food and wanted Crab Rangoon. We ordered the Spring Rolls delicious! They weren't made with mint which meant my partner and I could both enjoy them! The food came out super fast! The water had a hint of lime, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend this place! The Pho Tofu has excellent flavor and full of veggies! We will be regulars. read more

Located on greenfield and highway 100. Fast and easy. The grilled pork was nice. Pho beef broth good. The spring rolls (shrimp) was very plain and the peanut sauce also average. The fried egg roll was a bit weird, seemed like vegetable filler instead of meet. Prices reasonable If in neighborhood than it's a reasonable choice. Wouldn't drive out of my way. read more

Honestly, I've never really liked the pho I've had in the past, but Pho Saigon has changed everything and I absolutely crave it now. I'm so glad this place exists because I'm not sure how much longer I would have had to go without experiencing my PHO AWAKENING. I recommend the Pho Special but based on how good this was, I'm sure you'd like anything on the menu! I'd also like to note that one order is probably enough for two people as the broth itself is 32 ounces and it only gets bigger when you add all the fixings! read more

When we moved to Milwaukee from Portland, I was worried we would not be able to get good, authentic Vietnamese food. I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food is at Pho Saigon. Love their vermicelli noodles with grilled pork, grilled shrimp, and a spring roll. Their pho is great too. My husband (who is not Vietnamese) loves their Bun Bo Hue (just without the blood).
